The modern successor to this on the web, is CSS "line-height", but both measurement systems are very different.
That bothered me too. Another thing is that leading and line spacing are not the same. Line spacing is the measurement from baseline to baseline, but leading is the extra space inserted.
Nicely done, Might be good to add a section regarding the difference between tracking (even spacing between all letters in a word) and kerning (space between just two letters of a word). And update the pronunciation of "leading" as suggested in other comments.
