6:36 you can also just type "/4" after the width or height and it will divide it by 4 for you so you don't have to do any math. tons of great tips in this video though! i didn't know about several of these.
Damn when I drew my first pixel art character at some point I wanted to change a main color and I wasted sooo much time doing that, can't believe I could've just clicked like twice :D this video is really helpful, thank you!
Thia video is so goated. I nearly fell out of my reaction to simple reflection. This video alone made me create an Aseprite tips Playlist. 10 out 10 would definitely recommend.
i just want you to know. this video help me a lot i mean a LOT for starting Aseprite. thank you for good video thank you to make it look easy for me and it very fun to use thank you ♥
Thank yoooou, creating custom brushes from layers was exactly the functionality I was looking for and your video was the first one I checked 😂 Although I was hoping for something more like an instance that you populate at an origin point on each frame and if you make changes to the reference those changes are updated to each frame its used. Do you know of any features like that?
damn I didnt even know onion skins existed, I was going back to the previous frame constantly to know what to do for the next frame which made me take really long on a single frame.
Awesome, I'm glad to hear it 👍 The clip you reference is something I do when I want to create animations with somebody else's pixel art. Most people increase the size when they upload their animations, and so this is how I bring it back down to normal size. hope that makes sense!
Hello, thank you very much for this tutorial! I found new things thanks to your help :) However, I have a doubt, how to make the pencil despite the fact that the canvas is very large, still be made 1 pixel? Every time I enlarge the brush, the lines made are increased, and I only want the drawing to be made by 1 pixel, I hope you understand it and I await your response, thanks!
dude the art here is awesome. Do you make assets for marketplaces, companies or do you make your own games? It'll take years before I'll be able to make anything that comes even close to this.
Hey thanks man 😎 I have done some game animation work for a few people here and there, and I've done a couple hobby projects myself, but I gave it a rest a couple years back. They were some nice experiences, but man is there a lot involved.
Not only are these the best tips for Aesprite, but this dude has some of the most fluent pixel art animation I’ve seen 😮
Ay thank you 🙏
This is the best Aseprite tutorial. No blablablablabla babbling...just simple and quick text based video. I love it!
Glad you liked it!
Voiced tutorials are great too when they get to the point.
i hope a lot of people will say the same months after months : it's such an underrated video, and your art style is so good thank you a lot
Thanks!
Still underrated
So, you hope it will remain underrated?
@@lrgogo1517 you didn’t understand my sentence sir

That punching bag bird animation is beyond amazing. With the hit flash highlights and all that… loved it.
6:36 you can also just type "/4" after the width or height and it will divide it by 4 for you so you don't have to do any math. tons of great tips in this video though! i didn't know about several of these.
This is amazing. Beautiful tips. Beautiful music. Beautiful art. And beautifully fast paced😩
