You did a fantastic job on that life sized Nightmare 1 Fred! You're right about the gloves being a work of art. They all have their differences what makes them stand out. I remember when I was 12 I went as Freddy for Halloween in '99 using a normal black winter glove with my Nana's metal hairclips tapped with duct tape on the ends of the fingers.
You’re the reason I found Dark Dream Design. Got a “Charred Relic” budget part 1 glove from him, and it’s beautiful. It’s technically not as accurate as his “Boilerman” part 1, but the templates are identical, and the weathering is even more intense. I love it so much; a piece of Hell pulled straight from the furnace
I remember growing up in the late 80's when all we had was that cheap plastic Halloween store glove. So,I used to sneak into the kitchen, grab some kitchen knives and tape them to my winter glove. Needless to say,my mom wasn't happy. lol
I came to this video hoping for close ups to help me draw the part 3 glove for, of all things, a comedy sketch that I'm doing. And I am absolutely blown away by how much I learned, and how much I never thought about. Brands of gloves, the origin of the blades, it was all so cool and so enlightening that I cannot wait to see what else you have on your channel.
Love your collection. I am a bladesmith and about to make one of these. I will be making one no one has EVER seen before. A new take on Freddy's Weapon.
I got a part 1 glove by George Lang also! I didn't realize yours was by him as well. I absolutely love mine, and think his work is top notch as far as detail!! Hope he returns to creating glove replicas 1 day! Great video, I love to see others enjoy horror movies, and memorabilia as much as I do.
Hey Chris as a fellow glove enthusiast, i really enjoyed this video. To answer your question, my favorite glove is the part 4 glove. I just love everything about it, the shape of the blades and armature and the heavily weathered grime. It's such a mean and nasty looking glove.
Great video and great collection of gloves Chris. I really do love how iconic they are. The engineering and craftsmanship on them are amazing. No other horror character had a weapon that came close to Freddy’s glove. I must say my favourite glove is Part 2. The whole Freddy look was so good in that film. I just wish Freddy wore the glove the whole time and the writers that made the film understood how the Freddy universe worked! Best looking Freddy but it wasn’t such a good film. Definitely the scariest Freddy though in my opinion. Stay awesome Chris and take care!
I have a glove in my collection from the 2010 remake that was crafted by Joe D Mack that worked on the production as the prop maker for the film. He did a collaboration with a website for awhile called k4f and I managed to snag one a couple of years ago. Despite what many think of the film it’s an incredible piece.
Your collection is absolutely amazing - your videos on the NOES series inspired me to create my needle / syringe glove replica. keep up the amazing content !
Great video bro. My fav glove is part 1 and 2. As for the sweater part 1 is my favourite the red solid sleeves. I read somewhere the reason Freddy sweater in part 1 had no stripes on sleeves because the crew designer forgot to add the green stripes on Freddy's sweater sleeves. Because the crew was in a rush. But I think the part 1 sweater with solid red sleeves is cool and awesome
Chris, I am also making a part 1/2 glove and at the same spot in my production. Its like you were wearing my armature. Any leads on the p210 replicas? Its looking as if I will have to fabricate my own at this point..
Great collection Chris! I’ve got a pt1 from Jameson at DDD and a pt4 apple glove from Brian Sills at Demented Glove Works. LOVE THEM!! Any tips on taking care of/maintaining the leather to keep the gloves nice?
If I were doing the glove, I’d make it super rusty. Like you could get Tetanus just looking at it. And the blades wouldn’t just be serrated, they would like saw blades.
Should do a video if you were Freddy and these movies never existed how would your glove look if that was your weapon of choice to use. Curious to see how your glove would look
I am wanting to get a glove signed by Robert in October at the con I am going too. I want the glove to look as close to the movie as I can get it. Is there a glove you recommend?
Any interest in prop replicas of the other 2 gloves seen in Freddy's Dead? The one with (I presume) nails or the other with what looks like the blades held on with wrapped wire? Does anyone make those currently or have they in the past? I'd love a couple of alternate cosplay versions of Freddy
There were several different gloves used in Part 6 (The main hero, the secondary hero, the tertiary hero, Power glove, the basement gloves, etc.) Theres not many but I can think of a couple builders who've made the basement gloves...
The movie itself is s**t.....but I absolutely love the remake glove. It has this skeletal look to it and then there's the manacle element to it, which I also love. I feel the wearer has to sort of "commit" to it's use as they have to basically lock it onto their hand. I'd also imagine that manacle at the wrist would allow for more secure, powerful use of the glove as a whole.
They used several different gloves in the TV show, the Part 4 Hero glove was used (most of the black paint had come off by that point and the Part 4 Hero was also reused in Part 5 in some scenes) But there are several different gloves that were used throughout the show (The Dentist glove, a few gloves specially made for the show, etc.)
I bought a TOTS nightmare 4 glove, only for it to be seized by Australian customs. TOTS gave me a full refund but it still sucked not being able to get one. How about you host a glove making workshop so I can have my very own glove?
Part 3 is spot on but, it looks oversized quite a bit! Alot of builders don't realize or ignore the fact of the true size and build them oversized! Unless someone wants it built to their hand size. They are supposed to be replica's of Roberts worn gloves. So, they should by default build them, correct size! Or, like i said, unless requested otherwise!
Man I am incredibly impressed with you man. No joke.
The man to talk to about getting Any type of Vs. glove and especially B vs. gloves, is Flaming creations!
I never thought of the glove being a work of art. I love that so much.

That Rudy Salazar edition is BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED 👏🏽

And goddamn that lifesize Freddy is beautiful. I forgot he was hangin around haha
I remember Robert wearing the glove at Comic Con in Sydney. I have some cool video footage of him wearing it.
Thank you for your videos, talent and imagination

Does George Lang have a website/etsy shop/ facebook page to buy glove from?
I love the poster diorama work in progress. Very cool.

Great stuff dude. Love em. That poster replica is so fn rad
You need to add the Freddy Power Glove from Freddy's Dead lol "now that's playing with power"
I have a glove in my collection from the 2010 remake that was crafted by Joe D Mack that worked on the production as the prop maker for the film. He did a collaboration with a website for awhile called k4f and I managed to snag one a couple of years ago. Despite what many think of the film it’s an incredible piece.
I have been waiting for you to create a video about your freddy glove collection for a long time. I am excited.
Amazing collection, Chris! I loved this video.

Recently binged the rest of your ANOES content and was hoping there’d be an update like this
This is the collection 👌
Very nice Chris . Trust me I love my glove from Christian as well .
Really nice video man 😊

What's a feel it knife?
I am wanting to get a glove signed by Robert in October at the con I am going too. I want the glove to look as close to the movie as I can get it. Is there a glove you recommend?
Any interest in getting the Jason Goes to Hell glove? I believe there’s a German maker that makes them, and they’re very wicked looking
I've been thinking about making one, but I don't have the materials
Any interest in prop replicas of the other 2 gloves seen in Freddy's Dead? The one with (I presume) nails or the other with what looks like the blades held on with wrapped wire? Does anyone make those currently or have they in the past? I'd love a couple of alternate cosplay versions of Freddy

I have owned gloves over the years from some serious artists like Anders Erickson and others my fave was a VS from customfx, wished I still had it! :(
The movie itself is s**t.....but I absolutely love the remake glove. It has this skeletal look to it and then there's the manacle element to it, which I also love. Part 5 is finally done!!!
Is it well known which glove was used in Jason goes to hell? Was that a random glove?
Which glove did Freddy use in the TV show, Freddy's Nightmares?
They used several different gloves in the TV show, the Part 4 Hero glove was used (most of the black paint had come off by that point and the Part 4 Hero was also reused in Part 5 in some scenes) But there are several different gloves that were used throughout the show (The Dentist glove, a few gloves specially made for the show, etc.)
you should do a vid where try to make the best glove you can using a baked beans can and a floral garden glove lol 😂
Fun fact: freddy kruegers glove is actually a torture device he used on his victim's
Fuck yeah!! 🤘
So cool 🤌
I would like to build. My own some time if I had the stuff for it. And the money
Man after my own heart lol
I want one
What about the son of a hundred maniacs glove
Thats from a fan film and not an actual screen used glove. Plus the fan film was never made but still a neat concept.
Yeah I've always loved the design of it
I bought a TOTS nightmare 4 glove, only for it to be seized by Australian customs. TOTS gave me a full refund but it still sucked not being able to get one. How about you host a glove making workshop so I can have my very own glove?
Pretty sure there are some TOTS glove distributors in Australia. Try google 🤷♂️
New Nightmare = Lord Zedd rofl😂😂😂
You’re not wrong 😂
I would look into Nightmare Gloves by Ander Erikson, he makes the Vs glove among others and has even made gloves for Robert Englund
it be a Nightmare if you broke one
Part 3 is spot on but, it looks oversized quite a bit!
