I'm not an XA guy, but, Lou, your videos have educated me, including this one. You are the best. You always tell it straight. I know I'm not the only one who appreciates all that you do. Keep going. Thank you.
Thank you, that's very nice to hear, and the only reason why I do what I do. I actually lose money doing this, but I'd like to be known for helping people... without charging them
Appreciate this review. The color on that is so rich. Other than seeing Chamucus next to your smiling face I've yet to see this in the wild. I have got to get away! Provecho.
Congrats on 5k Lou! Looking forward to the next 5k! Thanks for all the amazing free content! Will you ever do a video revisiting Calle 23 Criollo? If I remember correctly that was only a written review. Cheers Lou!
Was looking for a retirement gift for a bourbon boy. I was considering Codigo Barrel Strength but probably going with Tears since I have an extra bottle (extra…What’s that?). Then saw this in the store and got me researching and wondering how well this might be received. Now, I see your perfectly timed review. You just made my decision that much more challenging though probably easier, too.
Funny how I heard haven't heard from any of them. That glass is a freaking joke, and for people to be showing it and using it, all because they got it for free is an embarrassment. Same goes for the Sip tequila glass
@@longislandloutequila7208 At the beginning of my journey, I was looking for a nosing/sipping glass and, on bad advice, bought the D & L Agave, now called Mezcal glass. It's a beautiful, heavy glass, but I agree with you that it's not great for nosing tequila. Jarrito, Glencairn, Riedel, or snifter are all superior.
In your professional opinion sir is their a big big big difference between the Anjeo and the " extra " Anjeo ? One can tell the difference between the black and respado...but I guess the extra anjeo is better then just " Anjeo "?

Awesome , love these older brands hanging on and keeping up . Albeit they’re on their 6th distillery , getting better each time .
Interesting, I only know of 4.

For whiskey/bourbon drinkers, every one you mentioned is equally good for that purpose. But I'm sure they will enjoy this
Congrats on the subscriber milestone! Somewhere out there, you've made Denver and Liely fanboys cry in their wide-opening glasses.😅

@robertmyers5763 - couldn't agree more Robert
I just saw one here in Texas for $195 they had 5 of them. Was that a good price and I missed out on something incredible or was it a good pass?
@PeenTip -That was a good price Old Town tequila has them for $189.99 but of course that's plus shipping
@@longislandloutequila7208 I picked up an autographed high proof Lalo from Lalo Gonzalez instead. I may go back! I just didn’t know much about this XA

He doesn't mention how many times has changed the NOM. I have the NOM 1586 is great
I thought they got discontinued after they changed the destillery from Premium Jalisco several times
No idea Carlos, but this is their fourth distillery. As far as I know, they're still making stuff there at 1586
