I Recommend only adding mods after Chapter 3 otherwise you'll run into issues such as crashing. There are plenty of chapter 3 saves you can install from nexus mods so pick one of those to skip the prologue. These mods are only for Single Player Story Mode. Some company’s do. But another thing is that rockstar has to limit certain things for console. I’m sure if they didn’t have to worry about that we would have 4k everything. Bu
Some wouldn't want to work full time at R* due to their horrible work conditions (60-100h work weeks). I rather continue making mods part time and work full time at a smaller company non game dev company. Its the industry that is so horrible and stressful. I would love to work on these giant games and be credited but fuck working 14 hours a day for months.
Well unlike eg Bethesda, Modders don't have access to rockstar's game engine, so the most modders can really do is tweak stuff that the developers have already tweaked before, and enable things which were scrapped but still exist in the take files. The developers could add a cheat trainer, weather options, expanded wardrobe etc but they didn't due to a mixture of money and vision. Why not allow Arthur to have any hairstyle? Vision. Why not add gun tricks to single player? It detracts from the multilayer where R* can make more $$$.

One of the immersion killers for me is is the actions of other gangs. Yes, the few 1-time only scripted encounters are amazing, but then they’re gone. Most of these should be repeatable. On top of that, when did these gangs sign territorial treaties? Always wanted an update where you might randomly come across gang fights along borders…be it Raiders catching O’Driscols venturing too far south, Lobos catching raiders expanding west, or any gang catching some Brood or Skinners spreading terror…maybe even a rare encounter where you come up to a gang camp to see another gang already engaging them where you can go in against all, wait to take out the winner or just watch & leave after.
Kingdom Come Deliverance did some of this in a simple, but fun, way.
Get that mod on console & I’ll throw some money for a copy!

@@ItsDeepz_ The ambeint gang mods allows gangs to roam and attack each other. Works with the bandit hideout mods as well.
This is a great mod list man -- I like how it's very gameplay/gunplay/etc centric. I'd also recommend doing an "immersion mod list", there's loads of amazing ones, for example the seasons mod which is absolutely essential imo -- I love going up to the mountains to hunt when it's winter

@thomasov2004 I have it installed. Pretty sure Its just called buyable properties. It's on the first or second top page of mods on Nexus.
You should have warned people that the hunting wagon mod requires you to retrieve every pelt from the wagon to sell them, you can’t get into the wagon at camp and there’s always that annoying risk of pelts or corpses bouncing out of the wagon. I do recommend it, but it does come with some downsides.

I play on console but still love these kinda videos, one thing about this game that annoys me is the off hand holster doesn’t show up in cutscenes, also it’s weird how they still haven’t fixed the long hair bug for online 🤣🤦♂️ so many of these mods should have been in the base game (especially the gun tricks and putting the lantern on your side)

Lads for those on console, its time to get a PC, the best combo rn is a ps5 and a PC. I get it cost and a arm and leg, but just remember all ur games will be cheaper, mods, no online subscriptions, no fake 4K, and each and every game you tweak to ur likings it’s worth it

@@philippnagel6259 the funny thing is I’ve got a solid rig, yet I still play more on ps5 😂😂I love PC gaming but honestly if ur someone who plays multiplayer games more often than not, I feel as if PS5/consoles are a lot better, it doesn’t really make sense on paper because on PC you can get more than 120fps, and with a good GC much better graphics but honestly Console was so much more convenient and just works. The BO6 beta gave me so much trouble on pc, compiling shaders ect, but it worked flawlessly on PS5.

Honestly, I'm okay with that. The game wasn't advertised to be a live-service game. I'm glad it released finished and an amazing game at launch. We could have got more, and their focus is on GTA VI now, but what we have is still more than amazing.

@@ItsDeepz_ it really seems like it! Are you using any other UI/HUD mods? This is a small thing, but your hit markers look skinnier than the vanilla. But it's been so long since I've played I could be misremembering them.

also recommend hat blip, cut dialogue restoration and enhancement, drunken fool, tie your lasso, kill children, crime and law rebalance and enhancement, holstering animation, beta arthur morgan expanded and enhanced without the hat change, flo, nitro, penetration, heart plains - big trees and autumn vegetatio. all on nexus mods, however due note that i don’t know if these mods will conflict with any of the ones in the video, oh and for an honorable mention: hot coffee mod

Sure can. You just enable the in game cheats the vanilla game offers. Cheating with rampage trainer works doe lol I’ve gotten all achievements in single player with mods active

What are you on? They have gang hideouts all over the map: lemoyne raiders, O'Driscolls, del lobo, the grays, the braithwaites and the skinners if you consider them gangs

Honestly, all they need to do is fuse some of the stuff from story and from online into each of them and thatll serve for a while. Im talking horse breeds, hunting and bkunty wagon, the different roles, some stranger mussuons, etc.
That would honestly be nice. So many things found in online would make a big difference in SP
Just a heads up for anyone watching this 7 months later, Rampage mod is currently broken and I would NOT reccomend anyone to use it unless they want to have major issues with their game. Not sure what the issue was but my game would just randomly crash while loading into story mode without any error message. Then when RDR2 did work, Rampage trainer F5 function did not work thus making the mod useless. I've assured that I didn't have any other trainers conflicting and couldn't find a solution so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. But my efforts were a failure as even after reinstalling the game with all the mods I had, it still continues to crash while loading into story mode without any explanation. I've already left a comment on the NexusMods page saying that this mod is broken and needs a major rework. Such a shame since Rampage was such a fun trainer to use smh

Great video. But after all these years, why hasn’t there been a smooth running vehicle mod yet? Either old vehicles or modern vehicles, it doesn’t matter… they will take RDR2 to the next level.

I saw that there was a Minecraft steve mod for RDR2. Seems underrated, especially because it appears to be one of the first fully custom character mods.

Which ones conflict, they should all work in unison. That only ones that would conflict with Whyems dlc are eastern epics and gonoachiros fancy atelier, but that’s why there’s a merge for em
Many people say whyem’s dlx doesn’t work because the load order in LML mod manager is wrong. It should be at the bottom no matter what version. It should only be above a mod called smaok’s mega arsenal.
After seeing this, I cannot express how deep and painful a sadness I feel knowing I can’t do any of this. 😞

@@ItsDeepz_ just got done with video man some of these mods were very unique nicely done most of the channels just use the same mods again and again they do not take time to find new mods even i try to find new mods but some of these mod in the video are gold even though rdr2 is in my opinion one of the most detailed and perfect game out there but some of small changes that can be done by mod thanks to the modding community just elevate the level of gameplay >just subbed man looking forward to new things on the channel

VisualRedemption sucks, don't even bother with it.
As of right now, there are no actual visual overhauls for RDR2 like NVE or LA Revo. All it does is remove the yellow-ish filter and the vignette and add some more saturation, which just kills a big part of the atmosphere of the game. Just get some ReShade if you want to improve the game's graphics, also you most likely won't even notice the mod as the changes really are minimal during regular gameplay

Honestly I'm shocked at the fact that rdr2 doesn't have collectable or upgradeable bows.
I love playing arthur as a hunter, just knives, tomohawks and the bow.
But I really wish there were better bows or if we could customize our bow.

i'm pretty sure there is a mod that adds online weapons to story mode and that adds the improved bow which you can customize.
