What are your fave pizza spots in Sydney???
Bexley Pizzeria
I've heard good things about Verace. The best pizza I've ever had was at Gradi @ Crown Melbourne and Via Napoli Pizzeria @ Hunters Hill (which is now closed) Sigh
Come on @Janice Fung, as an Israeli Jew, the best pizza spots *depend* on what kind of pizza we're talking about!
0:21 why did that guy have to spin the pizza peel? Silly man!
Costco Lidcombe
Aloha Janice,
You hit your stride with this video. Much higher quality than before, not not your earlier cideos were not high quality. The lighting on your face here really works. It is nice to give your car and phone with the time a rest. You don't need those props, this video clearly demonstrates that. You and your personality are enough to tesult in a great video. Well done. Hoping for heaps more.
Totally agree with you Janice, prosciutto pizza with rocket and Parmesan is my favourite of all time.
This looks amazing! I'm so excited to try these places when I'm in Sydney in October. Thanks for the recommendations Janice, you're the best!
Correction: the third place is not wood fired, you can see it is gas fired, there is a fire tube in the oven.
Omg. Looks delish. Will try them when I am visiting your lovely city. ❤️🙏. Thank you for sharing this great video.
Love the freestyle pizzas in the oven without a tray and yes, clever how it holds itself with so many toppings and a charred crust - looking forward to more reviews
Always interesting and entertaining, they all looked delicious would not know which one to choose
Been waititng for this... pizzzaaa🤤🤤🤤
Pucinella is in my hit list!!! Love love love the clam pizza at Bella Bruta.
Great vid as always Janice! Best one I've had is probs at Tilbrooke Estate in Adelaide Hills run by the chef & the guy who founded Al Taglio in Surry Hills.
Great video Janice, you should try Napoli in Bocca in Haberfield great pizzas 😊
Thanks for sharing, just traveled from Sutherland Shire to visit Verace Pizzeria… Sensational
I love this video , I will visit this locations , Thank you for sharing
Pizza…. The best comfort food! Great video and will definitely try out Bella Brutta. Every time we walk past, it’s always packed out.
Thanks for recommending something in western Sydney!
Just discovered your videos/channel. Great Job Janice and just Subbed!
Aaaah loved this more pizza videos please hehe
Awesome! 😍
I remember driving all the way to Ryde where Fratelli Pulcinella used to be. Owner rented a parking spot near Maccas in Victoria Rd. Good on him to finally get a permanent spot.
janice excellent video. keep them up .
All the pizza looked great. The aged salami and honey....ok I can try. The ending where your "fans" were talking with you was fun. Thanks enjoyed your vlog. Waiting for next weekend.
when you fold the pizza, for the front droopy tip you can flip it up and fold into the piece
You're making me crave pizza now!! 😍😍
Time for a pizza vlog 😉
Great video! Now i'm craving pizza
Wow, that's serious pizzas! looks so delicious. I am a fan of thin crust Margherita or mushroom pizzas. If you like to fold your pizzas, maybe you should try calzones! BTW, I really like this concept when you interview the cooks or the owners. It brings your videos to a whole new level.
Fratelli Pulcinella the third pizza place looks the best the cheese looks so gooood!
Their buffalo mozzarella was amazing
Great video. Best pizza in Sydney is at an old school restaurant called Filicudi in Five Dock. Gigi in Newtown is excellent vegan pizza too.
I love pizza 😳🤤 so this is my favorite vlog I think 🤭😅
Pizza Madre at marrickville is the best pizza place hands down. This video showed the others fighting for 2nd place.
My number 1 right now is Dimitri’s pizzeria in Darlinghurst, love that spot. Then Newtown- Westwood, Bella brutta? But not sure how they are now it’s been a while for me. Da Mario in Roseberry and my 5th spot will just have to be Dimitri’s pizzeria again haha
awesome interviews
the bee sting. straight from roberta’s in brooklyn, nyc. you must go there if you’re ever in nyc. it is the best combo.
If I ever go to nyc.. it’ll be on my list 😌
OMG sooo gooddddddddd COWABUNGA!
Now I’m hungry. Yummo.
Romanos Pizzeria, North Parramatta, the best one in Western Sydney
Lucios Zetland! Amazing.
Thanks Serena!
Please visit Cristina's Pizzeria in Thornleigh you have to visit this one place do it
If you liked Bella Brutta, Westwood is great! Same people who worked there. They have this honey and garlic one. Sounds weird on pizza, but very good
That’s my fav place too!
Omg yummmm
we are scoffing Italian sausage and rocket pizza from L' Angolo in Five Dock as we watch :)
Hey Janice, this was a great video on pizzas around Sydney. They did all look. Yummy ❤️There is so many great pizza places around.. There is a spot that we go to. It’s called Sesame pizza in Hassell Grove which I don’t know if you call it a gourmet pizza but I love the crust because it’s crispy and it’s got sesame seeds on it. You should give it a try❤️🥰💕😍
Sesame pizza in Hassell Grove is very good, I go there at least once in a month
Thanks Irena! I’ll check sesame pizza out!
@@JaniceFungI've got a picture of a ghost on a tv.
I wish I am in Australia! Yummy!
Wow look so good sydney pizza 🍕 😎👍
La Disfida in Haberfield and Donnys in Abbotsford are great!!
Thanks for the recs Pauline!
My mother’s cousin at Bexley North!
Loved this video- I loved the Grilled lamb pizza from Bondi pizza on Eats Street Parramatta
Sydney AND Melbourne - PIZZA tsunami Darling Janice..
I like the Fratelli. Nice garden courtyard, and I hate floppy soft pizzas that fall apart easily, example Tommy Millions in NZ. Tommy had some good flavours, but I've seen them having to remake pizza orders due to the processed floppy bases they use.
I like a good crunchy crust
Yummy Pizza thanks
Westwood honey garlic pizza!
That sounds delishhh
There's another place in Newtown that did the best pizzas I've ever had problem is I haven't tried it in over 15 years not sure if there around still also I would try that wood fire pizza in the city Westfield building near that Japanese place
I'd like to recommend Salt Meets Cheese in Circular Quay, they have unlimited pizza every Mondays for 25AUD with a drink purchase.
I heard about the first place in so called macquarie park 😆 it used to just be called North Ryde but people thought it would be trendy to call it Macquarie Park just because the shopping centre is called Macquarie Centre. I grew up in North Ryde 😉
@PFSydney I lived in North Ryde for 34 years. I definitely know. It was 24 years ago. Not 25. No need to be all serious ffs.
Newtown😒,old mates backyard ✌️👍👌👏🍺
Via Napoli! You missed that one !
It’ll be in part 2 😉
Good video
Thanks for watching !
My Mother’s Cousin in Bexley North 👨🍳🤌💋
Balmain Pizzas, now gone, made Mushroom pizzas. To die for.
Irrelevant comment
@@frankspencer718 Irrelevant reply
@@fookriver Ok. Why comment on a shop that is not open anymore?
@@frankspencer718 Maybe someone else experienced their pizzas too. Also, mushroom pizzas are so tasty. True, it was unhelpful to those seeking a good shop, so wanted to share my experience. Where is your 'go to' pizza shop? Can't beat the Italian shops, they know their stuff.
@@fookriver agree
I like My Mother’s Cousin pizza and chicken in Bexley North
Ahh yes! My mother’s cousin is awesome !
take out Verace (good enough but not the very best) and add La Disfida from Haberfield. Gigi Pizzeria in Newtown makes the best vegan pizza in Sydney hands down.
good video
Lol cheers man
The dough makes it I reckon ...
I passed Fratelli's at Parramatta all the time and didnt realise its existence!
Fratelli is overrated. It's like a foreigner walking into a Chinese restaurant thinking fried rice is the best!
@@_._._._._._._._._._._._._.____ A good fried rice is the benchmark of any Chinese restaurant. Is their Israeli fried rice?
@@frankspencer718says the white guy with no idea about Chinese cuisine. No it isn't.
@@_._._._._._._._._._._._._.____ I'm actually Chinese fool. BTW change your profile again so you can troll more
@@frankspencer718 Nice Chinese name. I'm sure your parents are proud of you.
Sorry for my typos. I hate typing on phones.
Where can i get halal pizza in Sydney?
Tried Varachi recently. It was OK, but George's Pizza is better.
Hi Janice, from my days in Sydney (almost a decade), I had a very good pizza in Rosso Pomodoro Balmain as Italian I enjoyed that pizza...
Hello… hello… hello…
I have watched this video.
Me too
@@JaniceFung I have a picture of a ghost on a tv.
@@JaniceFung hay hows life beside youtube?. The wars been freaking me out. Dam putin spazing out life was looking pritty good. I don't want to have to live in a forest because we got nuked.
Never thought I'd see clams on a pizza. Not a fan of folding pizza slices because there's less bites to enjoy; unless it's an egregiously large slice!
Haha I used to have a similar theory when I ate chips, I’d break each in half so that I could have more bites
@@JaniceFung OML, no way that’s satisfying! Tho to be fair the packet’s already half empty when you start XD
If you don't fold those thin pizzas they flop down like grandpa's schlong
You missed “elettropizza”, in Potts Point, crispy but soft & no chewy, the real deal…
Oooooh I’ll add this to my list, thank you!
Salts Meets Cheese at CQ and Pizza Boccone at KingsX
Pocket Pizza
Best pizza in Sydney is Tipo 00 in Balmain
All the pizzas are made to soggy, not to my taste, mario at Croydon there pizza is thin and crispy all the way thru. Not like eating a indian naan.
One bite, everybody knows the rules…
Dave would have gave the highest score to the last one…6.3
Uhh $30 for the one in Parramatta? I'd rather Bella brutta.
Food is best had on all fours
stuff dat grill
MIZTUTTIONWHEELS
Janice, love you don't love the sub titles, not needed and distracting
nope
I'm not impressed, the first lot if pizzas, they're bland bland bland, can't comment on the rest as I stopped watching, nodubt they were another let down.
nice video!!! yummy i like pizza with no tomato sauce LOL like cheesy and potato sausage pizza
Where do you get that one??
Perplexing breed of pizza
You’re soo cute!
Dogs have left in overwhelming numbers, follow the owners on a tight leash
Copy that expression to be like that
Food for Mammals' on paws' Mass exodus
Food is best served to on all fours
The taste is confusing and the pedigree is not.
Why didn't you compare with 1 style of pizza for example cheese pizza .. not 3 diff kinds
