I’ve never been to Australia and Sydney would be one for the bucket list! Great long stretch of beach at Manley and Watson’s bay has lovely green spaces. Plenty to pack into 48 hrs. Cheers guys ❤
Hi Tracy, thanks for watching as always! Sydney is an incredible place, honestly Australia as a whole is a beautiful country and we always recommend a visit if you get the chance. 😍
OMG, I just finished watching your last Sydney video as I'm headed there in February. You have both come such a long way with your videos. You're one of my favourite travel bloggers. Have the best time in NZ!
Awww thank you Becc 🥰 we are loving New Zealand at the moment. The weather is good most of the time and it’s nice and warm! Both of us are wishing you a wonderful trip to Sydney in February 🙌🏼 thank you for sticking with us ❤️
Places I would recommend are... Blue mountains = nature King st Newtown = where the hippies congregate. Must try the "watermelon cake" from Black Star Pastry. It's the "Worlds most instagram cake". Taste delicious also. Skip Bondi and Manly and head to the beaches outside of Sydney.
Great video! I just came back from Sydney and its amazing NYE! My 6 mile run from darling harbor to the opera house and back was the most beautiful run of my life. Like you guys, I did Manly and skipped Bondi (less well-connected and apparently not as animated as Manly). This sounds like a pro tip that everyone should know.
Hey! Thanks so much for watching. I bet NYE would have been amazing - that is still on our bucket list 🎆 We're glad we went to Manly too as we hadn't visited before - a nice place! Glad you had a great trip ☺️
Next time you come back, seek out a real beach down at Cronulla, Sydney. While you are there, walk/run the Esplanade from Green Hills to Salmon Haul Bay and back - 10k. @@cjexplores
I enjoyed this lovely and informative video from Sydney. And great to memorize. I was there a couple of days with my youngest son in the autumn 2009, when he and his wife were studying in Melbourne. Beautiful city with a lot to offer. We took the boat to Manley too. And at that time there was a public transport option around the city centre, called Monorail. And we had a great trip with it, watching the city in the evening. It was sadly dismantled a couple of years later. Thank you for sharing ❤ Looking forward to your next video 😊
Thank you! We're glad you could reminisce on some old memories via this video 🥰 it sounds like you had a lovely trip to Sydney. It's an iconic city which we'd happily visit again given the chance.
Yes you do. There are actually free walks you can do as well. Usually there's a donation opportunity for these types of things. Here's a link to one of the walks in Sydney you could try: gyg.me/R9872mrG this link supports us but costs you no extra to use 😊
Hi, I love how informative this video was! In addition to that, I have one question. How often do the ferries leave each place in Sydney? Every 30 minutes? I ask because I plan on traveling to Sydney Australia very soon.
Hi Andre! Thanks for leaving a comment. They are much more regular than every 30 minutes. It might be every 10 or 15 mins. At the bigger stops like circular quay it would be even more 😊
Great video, we were there in November, stayed in the CBD and did exactly the same places as you did! Sydney is beautiful and we’re lucky to do a 9 day cruise round trip back to Sydney. Melbourne and Adelaide great places but no way as nice as Sydney.
Thanks David! We think Sydney is beautiful too. Oh wow, a cruise around the Australian coast sounds amazing! We quite liked Melbourne but Sydney just has something magic
I’m a Sydneysider and I have also lived in Melbourne. Both cities have unique attractions. Melbourne is the second largest Greek city, after Athens. Try Lygon St for excellent multicultural food. Then there is the Great Ocean Road. Every town or city in Oz has something unique to offer. Try the Outback! Alice Springs, Broken Hill, Indigenous history and culture from the local Traditional Owners.
@@cjexplores Yeh I got that wrong. Apparently it is seventh in line, but it does have the largest Greek-speaking community in the world, outside of Greece and Cyprus.
Good video! Well done for passing on Bondi and heading to Manly. A far better beach if still popular. The walk along to Shelly beach from Manly beach is well worth it too if you have time. The nice park you discovered on the way to Darling harbour is Barangaroo Reserve and is entirely man made. That whole side of the CBD from that park all the way down to Darling Harbour used to be a big rectangular slab of concrete for shipping containers! I agree that it’s a lovely walk to do, away from the crowds. Either way, looks like you spent your limited time pretty well.
My partner and I live in Welligton, New Zealand for 8 years after leaving France, our original country. We’ve been to Brisbane and Cairns few times and love those places especially the Great Barrier Reef and the rainforest.Great vlog in SYD wich gives us some travel tips. Ah wonderful! We have just moved back to Wellington after being away for years 😊 thanks for the love on the video, we just upgraded (or maybe it’s downgraded.. 🤷🏼♂️) to the new DJI Pocket 3. It’s super compact and makes filming in public really easy. Audio is from the wireless mic that comes with the creator combo 😉
Is Bondi overrated? Yes. Not to say Bondi is bad, but Sydney has many excellent beaches. Also, the chips are probably "vibrant" due to the generous application of chicken salt, a beloved Australian seasoning for chips.
Thank you!! This was our first time using this camera actually so it’s great to hear that you noticed the quality. It’s the DJI Pocket 3. It’s fairly new and super low key. Great for vlogging 😁👍🏼

Yep, Bondi is over rated. Bondi is a lovely beach with it's own vibe. But as a beach, there are hundreds of others, in Sydney and North and South of Sydney, which are prettier and better in my opinion. And if you travel to Queensland and WA, you will find thousands of other beaches which are amazing and spectacular.
Ahh thanks for sharing Matt! We spent years in South East Queensland and loved visiting all the beaches up there. We also found many new favourites when we did our big lap in 2021 over to WA
