Single adult male with F350 that's never seen a site or gravel road? Absurd. Thinking an SUV is safer than a large sedan? Absurd. Not even considering compacts or sedans as a middle class person? Really? How many Broncos have you driven? I've driven a few (in Moab no less), and they are vastly superior on-road, and can go practically anywhere off-road a Wrangler can (sometimes with a little more locker help and some tire lift). That is why you have the option to equip them with lockers. The Bronco is WAY more comfortable and MUCH roomier inside, especially if you are a bigger guy like I am. I'm a Jeep fan and a big Mopar guy, but Ford hit a home run with this vehicle, if they can actually get them built (the timing of the pandemic and shortages are hardly their fault). Most people don't have Moab practically in their backyard like I do, and let's face it, 90% of people are going to keep these vehicles on pavement. And the 10% of people that actually do off-road like I do, can probably be narrowed down to 2% that are going to take these vehicles where a Wrangler still has an advantage off-road with a solid, front axle. Most people aren't going to trash a $60,000 vehicle, rock crawling the extremely difficult trails where a Wrangler might have a slight advantage. The V8 in the Jeep is awesome (and probably won't be around for long), but is it $80,000+ awesome, and surely way more than that in Europe with gas prices sky high? Both are fun vehicles, especially if you use them to actually drive trails. The competition will only make both vehicles better. The Jeep die hards probably should prepare themselves for the next generation of Wrangler to have IFS, as shocking as that will be for some.

I guess it mostly comes from people that just drive their vehicles to-and-from work, or are coming from more luxurious vehicles that aren't off-roaders. Why would I want a leather dashboard like my Ram truck in a vehicle you can take the top off of? Ford designed these to be able to be truly washed out, because that is what people told them they wanted. As long as it doesn't rattle (which they don't), who cares? Also, why would I want a bright red dashboard, which is all Jeep offers, no matter the exterior color? So bizarre. I'm more concerned about comfortable seats, and not having to rub shoulders with the person sitting next to me, both of which the Bronco wins hands-down. I like the idea of a hybrid EV like Jeep offers, and it's a nice first try. I imagine it would be nice for pavement driving if you daily drive your vehicle, but the 4xE gives you about 3 miles of pure electric power when off-roading at any elevation, and you can definitely feel the weight of those batteries off-roading. They aren't exactly ideal if you actually use these for their intended purpose, but since most people don't, I guess it's a good option around town. I would certainly consider a hybrid that can offer a little bit better range, and hopefully less battery weight in already heavy vehicles. It will be interesting to see what Bronco offers in comparison, and what these solar panels are going to end up being like they are testing. I will agree on the one-touch Sky top. I do like that as an option, and if I was to order another Rubicon again, I would probably opt for that.

Always been a Wrangler fan, but compared to the Bronco, it is just old and outdated. I really wish they had gotten a base/kid level Wrangler to go against the base/mid Bronco. Or, had gotten a V6 Bronco with the Sasquatch package to have off-road v. off-road vehicle.
@@robsmall6466 I know it’s sad that Ford isn’t bringing the Broncos as RHD. But at least in the UK, we can get Clive Sutton to import them (Clive Sutton is the company responsible for importing the Bronco that was on test in this video), but they’re LHD.
From what I’ve heard previously, it won’t be built in RHD because of limited sales projections in RHD markets such as the UK, Australia and Japan, which would have made production of a right-hand-drive variant unviable.
In busy city centres like London, the Ford and Jeep aren't exactly the best options 😅. But off-road, they are the real deal :D. Great comparison Nicola and Yousuf :)

All big 4x4's are too big for London! If you need to commute in London, you need an electric car more and more as they clamp down on emissions and areas you're allowed to drive a car these days. Huge Chelsea tractors are still there, but they are becoming less and less these days as people move to a hybrid/plug in hybrid or full electric versions. The amount of petrol wasted sitting in London traffic must huge these days.
These are both mid-size. We have a Wrangler Rubicon 4xe and it does fine is cities. We have taken it through NY (Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens). Philadelphia and Boston. No problems at all.
Massivly overpriced with questionable quality even here in north america. Those wrangler people, easy to spot, cheap LED headlights that are blinding everyone on the road, its a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand..
Really needed to give prices up front … the noisy, expensive to buy and run one sounds better and is faster …. Who knew !! In todays energy, environmental and economic crisisisisisis’s ….. I’d feel like an absolute moron driving a noisy V8

The Wrangler also comes in a plug-in hybrid if the V8 offends you so much. Having a V8 doesn't bother me in the least. I recently sold my 6.7L inline 6 diesel and am waiting for a 6.7L V8. Don't expect the cost to run will be all that different.
It is “Trail Rated”. Who “Rated” it, I’d like to know? What independent firm, with the expertise and authority to RATE such things, does these “Ratings”?? I’d like to KNOW!!! I (!) thinks it’s BS. It’s like I invent a pencil sharpener and put a label on it that says “Office Rated” just to make it sound capable.
Trail rated is every Jeep that can conquer the rubicon trail. It's not some stupid firm, it is just an off-road trail. Perhaps inform yourself before writing BS comments

The Ford Bronco is gonna be officially sold in Europe next year, but it won’t be officially sold in the UK, Ireland, Malta, Cyprus or any RHD country.

This is the test of fastest Wrangler and normal Bronco. Get Bronco Raptor and than test this Jeep againt it.
