- Todays Recon episode takes a look at CUPs remastered and expanded vision of Chernarus. This particular terrain holds many a fond memory for many an ArmA player. The CUP team has brought this legendary terrain up to ArmA 3 standards with a range of changes, tweaks and additions.
It stays true to bohemia's original vision but great expands upon it with lots of new interesting locations to get lost in.
Remasters are all the rage these last few years right?
Yeah, but this one actually is worth the name.

God I live the CUP team. They go above and beyond.
I think the sheer amount of work they've done over the years slips under the radar sometimes & most if not all of their stuff plays very nicely with other mods & dynamic missions out there without issue.
Thanks for the Chernarus 2020 tour, Hazbo. Gonna download it this evening (together with Autumn Livonia). Big fan of CUP.

CUP team did a great job in improving the map to a modern level, now I finally enjoy playing on this map as opposed to playing on legacy version. I wish CUP team would remastered Takistan.

One map addon i wish CUP would take over is Chernarus 2035, that map is amazing!
Hmmm Ive tried "Redux" (the post apocalyptic one) Don't think I've tried 2035. Ill have a ganders when I next browse the workshop.
@@HazBofficial 2035 is great, it adds smaller islands around the main country. Sadly the creator adandoned the map :(
I was looking around this particular map and I noticed the sheer detail and size of the chernarus railway system, and I wondered if it could somehow become compatible with the Advanced Train Simulator mod

Yup, used the ones included in sog prairie fire. No more mouse n keyboard surfing lol.
Are we going to eventually get a winter, autumn and summer variant also?
Hope so, they did a stunning winter version of the legacy chernarus (heres hoping for the remaster!)

no one talking about CUP MAP 2.0 anymore I don't know why??? the devs gave up before even starting and/or finishing the project?
I was just trying to figure out what happened with this too. The devs have like 5k upvotes and are at 5 stars on the workshop, but there isn't any content. Very strange...

that's the direct link, my apologies it is included in the collection listed above but its not obvious as its not actually listed as Cherno 2.0 in the workshop but rather cup terrains 2.0.
The reason I put the collection link up is because it requires cup terrain core regardless.
Where is the school?
Think there is one in the big north west town ( zelengorsk? ) and the new one near the quarys up north. there is a few around.
