@@coreBsp8002 I saw them during the tour for genexus twice and they were incredible live. His clean vocals got much better like he'd been taking lessons. Truly great band
And to think, I was 11 when they played this show. Too bad I wasn’t old enough to experience this….that and I wasn’t allowed to listen to this kind of music back then (super strict/over protective parents).
This song will forever be in my top 10 it reminds me of the dark places I've been and the struggle to get to the light but one day i realize that I am the sun frozen in heaven
My God... This song is a real monument to fortitude and perseverance in our crazy world. One of the greatest songs in the world. Beyond words and above the sky. Many thanks from Russia to the band for everything.
It’s festivals period. Saw slayer in 2018 and 2019. 2018 was an indoor show and 2019 was at a festival and they sounded horrible at the festival but they sounded awesome at the indoor venue. I can safely say that I’m glad I got to see Slayer before they retired for good in 2019 and knew the level of performance they could put on.
Sad to think shortly after this the 90s FF we all knew and loved would come to an end. This lineup was and always will be Fear Factory. Not to say they haven't put out good albums since(archetype, mechanize, genexus all killer for sure..only bad one is transgression imo). I was hoping they would eventually reunite, but I've lost all hope. Now even Burton is gone. It's 100% Dino's band now.
From what I remember of this point in time, now anything from this era feels like an oasis.Life was simple and music was awesome.I wasnt very old but old enough to enjoy what it was and Im glad I have the memories I do from this point in time.
Si no me equivoco creo que es soundtrack de la primera película de Resident Evil. Aparece en los créditos ya casi al final, después de My Plague de Slipknot
Really good performance. The guitar during the verses sounds identical to the studio version lol. I also love how they played the song at the same tempo that it's played on the studio version. So often, bands will play songs at a faster tempo live and it never sounds good. Often times it almost ruins the song. But not here.
There already writing a new album Burton vocals are on it but he is no longer in Fear Factory no more so there looking for a new vocalist! Probably new album should come out 2021 or 2022 unless otherwise
@@thecharlespowell i tend to think it's drop g for this one actually. i haven't seen any evidence suggesting either way actually other than that he used g standard on genexus
I think Dino’s problem here is hot temperatures plus a guitar that’s tuned stupidly low with very low action. That’s a recipe for the intonation to be completely out on any guitar
Fear Factory used to love their B and A Standard tunings, now Dino is all about the 8-strings which is alright, but his riffs have been lacking ever since he added the extra string, in my opinion of course.
Too bad these guys will never be this good live again. Last time I saw them was when Mechanize came out so like 2009? Burton sounds like shit live now.
@shotgunndunn supposedly burton was sick... "supposedly", also, dino's guitar effect in this song sounds like shit live... i don't hear what you are hearing when you say it is out of tune...

Chorus effect -- that's what I'm hearing on the guitar. It will warble the tone of a guitar. You can hear it working during the sustained bit before the last part of the song.
There is something so magical about early 2000 performances.
3rd World Gamer indeed

Takes me back to when I was 21. I miss Fear Factory
I don’t know why, but I find that this comment is 13 years old and it reminds me of when I was 21 as well. They were such a great band.
Does this comment take you back to when you were 29?!
This people never knew the kind of beast they witnessed that slayed and paved the way for metal to date.

Shit, the dude uses a .050 string for a low A! Idk how he manages to keep it in tune at all. That shit is flapping all over the place.
@@homeyiommi1921 Don't forget the low string in this one he's tuned in G, that's the really impressive part!
