Hey how are you. I’m curious if you knew. I run a ropeman ascender on my lineman’s belt and I’m interested in this lineman’s belt seeing it’s smaller and lighter. Do you know if the ropeman is still able to be used on it instead of the prusik knot?
Hey Matt, Please subscribe to help us reach more people! You would have to ensure the ascender you have and the lineman’s belt are the same size in mm, but if so, you could make it work by sliding the prusik to the end when using the ascender. However, I recommend have a linemans belt and a tether that way you are always secured to the tree by one or the other.
Just a heads up in case you don’t know, your videos are cropped in and not formatted to full screen.
Thanks for letting me know!

Couldn’t this be used as a linemans too?
Yes, you can make it work, but it’s no where near as smooth as something like this: ua-cam.com/video/c6pAwwpDgDA/v-deo.html
