Great vid Dan enjoyed that one, what a great day and glad the footage was helpful. That 5th session was so much fun. I am going to have to get editing and sort out my other sessions.
Enjoyed your video. Im thinking of booking JW days at Knockhill in June. Did you feel it was worth the extra cash to do both days? I would put myself in the back half of intermediate group.
I would say yes and no, the smaller group sizes are well worth it compared to say a No limits day, however, I would say from an actual tuition point of view a lot of the things we were told as a group were similar by the end of day 1 as they were on day 2, mainly line choice and body position. So value for money 1 day at each circuit is probably all you need. It would have been nice if each session they concentrated on a couple individuals to give more direct feedback after the overall session de-brief. Saying that I'm sure you will enjoy it either way and I will likely book in another JW day this year somewhere if I get chance. Good luck, let me know how you get on if you do 👍
Thanks Shaun, ye they are riser clip ons and flipped side to side as you say, tried to get back as close to flat bars as possible, I really like them and don't get any wrist pain at all on track, think my (now better body position) helps with that too. Cheers for watching.
@@OHaraRidingBikes Went to Brands last week and will be at Castlecombe next week, fingers crossed I pass noise test on a standard track day there as they are quite strict from what I've heard. There's also an NG race weekend there which I was considering.. What about you?
@@dan_the_drifter321 I've never ridden CC, have been there though. I saw the NG weekend and did consider it also. Eyeing up some August dates at the moment, Cadwell two dayer and possibly Olivers Mount in September. Look forward to your next installment.
@OHaraRidingBikes thanks, will try to keep the channel updated. Where abouts are you located? I enjoyed combe last time I went. One of the nice things is they have a maximum 12 people on track on a standard track day so it feels empty, they are generally shorter sessions though. Let me know if you do go for the race weekend, I've still not decided, nothing like cutting it fine 😅

Glad mate, yours was great too. I don't think I can bring myself to edit every session 🤣 good luck with that!

Thanks for the response. Thought that might be the case. Think I will definitely book on but for just one day. Knockhill is my local circuit. Cheers
@@Bulldogridesagain no worries, all the best 🏍🏍
Hi Dan,
Great video. Are you running the clip-ons upside down (on the wrong sides) for comfort?

@@dan_the_drifter321 Fair enough, as long as its working thats the main thing. Whens your next trip out?
