i guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
been a legend for a while now.. i would say he got the superiority now when it comes to bike review etc on youtube. a veteran.. but still the quality of the video and audio is like im living in the more or less 2010s.. but the quality of the content of the video is top notch though
Being a bike rider for over 25 years, I just came across this video by accident this has to be some of the best advice I’ve seen. I could picture everything he was explaining. I can’t wait to consciously apply it. Keep up the great work! 👍
This direction is great Neevesy. Reviews are all well and good but this is the sort of juicy insight folks are hungry for. Get your own channel and fly free.
These are fast becoming a 'must watch' for me. First passed my test in 2004, bought a CBR600RR, then I got married, I couldn't justify the extra expense with our first daughter on the way so sold the bike in 2006 and regretted it ever since. In my 40th year I got back on an RR last July. Films like this are hugely encouraging and have given me a load of tools to make me safer on the road and (hopefully) faster on track. Keep them coming Neevsey, they're excellent👌🏻
I've done the Ron Haslam race school. Superb experience. I'd never done a trackday and just being able to turn up and get everything given to me to ride was fantastic.
I'd been riding for 32 years when I was bought a day at Ron Haslams school in 2008, I learned more about riding in that one day than I had in the previous 30 years!
I just did a small ride with one exception. I bent my inside arm during corners... Wow, now I have to incorporate it all together, step by step. From one guy, thank you.
Definitely the best instruction for people new to track days that I have come across, if you get this guy on your track day you'll leave with a smile on your face and the rubber right side up,
Absolute gems in there Neevsey. Some great tips for a novice on track like me. Also some jewels for the road too. Thank you for your time and know-how 👍 Silvains channel is great too. Cheers
Just wanted to say thank you for this well presented, informative, educational and down to earth video. I'm not a person that comment about videos so that's saying something.
This is my favourite motorcycle journalist/teacher/reviewer, he is really humble, gives good advise. When he says a bike is good I listen and when he give a riding tip I listen.
I have watched a LOT of Neevesy's video. They are always informative always helpful, and one was the reason I brought a GSXR750. Thank you for the time, effort and knowledge that you give back the motorcycle racers and hobbyist. It IS appreciated very much.
Own channel. Needs to be done. This is awesome content and so digestible. You know it’s quality when I can listen on my headphones while driving and visualise the ride. Thanks for sharing your experience and insights.
A slow rider, but for very many years (44 years) I enjoy listening to those who can ride fast & safely. I’m fine just being reasonably safe. It’s still fun.
Everything you said on this video it felt like you was talking to me riding with me on track especially opening the throttle FULL...WOW....And I am a late braker and slow coming out and I know its fear of the full throttle and not knowing will I make the next corner or not make it an Highside.....BUT AMAZING ADVICE...THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
So a lot of other UA-cam channels are doing these sorts of "to camera" chats but these ones are gold, Neevesy gets you hooked in straight away, i love this stuff and can't get enough. Keep it up.
Been to riding schools, read books, watched videos, etc. first time someone explained so many important topics In a concise fashion that actually made sense to me. More please.
He's so great and such a nice guy who really reaches out to the community. He will chat with people he's doesn't know from Adam when you know he's busy AF. Ask me how I know LOL. Great stuff.
Love the way he relates the straights as mini drag strips"" is somthing i have alway said ! I come from drag racing and moto -x to road and circuit and adopt the same principle. Best tuition advice i can pass on to new riders is this video.
So good. A typical youtuber would have padded that out into like 20 videos but here it's just bam, top stuff start to finish and very useful. Will have to do the race school ASAP.
I rode Phillip Island this week (what a dream). I really really wish I had seen this first. The only thing I feel I was getting right was body positioning, watching this. More than anything, I was getting throttle in the corners completely wrong. Great video!
I done the Ron Haslem race school a year or so ago, it’s a great day a lot to take in and the tuition is really good as you would expect. A worthwhile experience and when we get through this crap time I will be booking again , spot on Neevesy 👍.
Ron Haslam school - I went there for my first time on track. You can use their bikes and their clothing gear. I thought it was excellent. Easy to recommend.
Regretting selling my Fireblade for something more sensible now. Neevesy is easy watching and make a lot of sense. Ron should be busy when the lockdown is over, it's on my to do list.
You know what I stopped road riding and done 23 trackdays over 2.5 years and literally everything you just said if I'm totally honest took me 16-17 trackdays to figure out myself. Could have saved myself loads of money and frustration by coming to this school from the get go but 4 hour drive away from canterbury put me off. Great advice. Back road riding now but really want a track bike again. Cheers for the video too! Relieved some boredom during this mess.
Well at least there is a positive to the Covid lockdown, MCN are putting out some class video content right now between this and the Ask Neevsy sessions it has been excellent. Well done MCN and Neevsy for stepping up and keeping us bored bikers entertained.
Thanks mate, just went for a ride on the closest thing we have to a track (Mt. Haleakala) and your "bend your inside arm in the corner" tip enabled me to erase my rear chicken strips down to about 1.5 mm. Almost there!
The best no BS guide to being safe and fast on track I've seen on UA-cam. Loving these intimate videos Neesvy, top advice delivered perfectly. I've done Ron's school twice in the Premiers and looking forward to stepping up to the Elite soon - fingers crossed I have you as my tutor.
Just stumbled upon these videos, I've watched a lot of these kind of tutorials and this is the best I've seen. Clear, consise, easy to understand, brilliant. Just wish I could go and put it in to practice.
I live in Colorado...USA. Haven't been on the track for club racing or trackdays in prob 12 years. I want to go to this school. LOL. Solid solid video my man. Well done.
This is a fantastic video and all levels of riders can learn from this. A lot of what he discusses are things I learned the hard way from a street rider, to track rider, and now as an instructor.
Absolutely fantastic advice for novice track day enthusiast like myself I could watch these all day just a shame we can’t put it into practice at the moment
Amazing, it's like you are talking directly to me, half of the things you have mentioned are happening to me and my last 2 instructors didn't mention any of these mistakes, but I understand now some of these mistakes, next track day I would have in mind each one of these improve points and check if I can correct the mistakes, thanks for such a wonderful video.
These are amazing tips brother. Wish more "experts" would have this ability to teach. If I had watched this video ten years ago, I'd be a much better track rider right now.
Thankyou so much for making this video Neevesy! I feel I've learnt so much from it. I've just had two track days cancelled due to the situation but will be watching this over a few times before I eventually get to ride. I have watched the others you mentioned so I have a great chance of something sinking in to try! Thankyou.
I want to thank you so much for your verbal guidelines to writing track days it’s absolutely perfect I listen to you very carefully and I’m going to adapt what you have told me on track I’ve been following you for years huge fan we’re out here in Phoenix Arizona USA I ride as /ZX10r and do local tractors thank you so much and I’ll be listening to any upcoming talks you may have
Fantastic as always. Done Ron Haslam School a few times (with Danny Webb in Elite last time) and it really is brilliant. Not had the pleasure of Mr Neeves yet though!
The off throttle turning will only work on bikes with stiffer suspension setups. That is the only thing I would add to this otherwise fantastic video. I own a Yamaha MT-07 and during my last track day I gave my best to incorporate this technique, but with my stock suspension and stock rear shock, very soft that they are, I was bouncing all over the place, the bike felt very hard to controll in the corners so I had no choice but to resort to trail braking more. Mind you, the track I go to is rather old, patchy and bumpy. It will be very interesting for me to try and do it again once I get the supersport 600cc I'm buying with good suspensions since I plan to dedicate more to track riding. Thank you Michael for all the amazing contribution to motorcycling.
My first day at Ron Haslam's Race School was great fun and I learnt a lot, but I've learnt even more from this video. Can't wait to go back and try to put this into practice. Having said that, even just a short ride would be welcome currently!
Great instruction video, being an ex racer and track day fan, it’s great to remind yourself of the basics. It’s quite easy to pick up bad habits. Nice vid from Neevesy👌
This advice is solid gold - much better than the usual “follow the leader” at the standard track day. When this coronapocalypse lets up I’m tempted to take a trip over for one of these Hallam track schools!
These chats with Neevesy ,are some of the best videos MCN has put out.
i guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account??
I somehow lost my password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
@Ayaan Landyn instablaster :)
He's quality. Excellent. Direct, clear, and is so able to explain things. No waffle.
This guy is becoming a legend. Eminently watchable content that leaves you knowing something every time. The dogs conkers.
Andy Satch THATS just what I’ve been thinking but couldn’t articulate it as well as you have 😂👍🏻
Andy Satch - He’s been a legend for a while now!
been a legend for a while now.. i would say he got the superiority now when it comes to bike review etc on youtube. a veteran.. but still the quality of the video and audio is like im living in the more or less 2010s.. but the quality of the content of the video is top notch though
I should clarify, he's been finally recognised by me as a legend! :)
I remember Neevsey getting the position following the audition format, well deserved, guy’s done well 👍
Being a bike rider for over 25 years, I just came across this video by accident this has to be some of the best advice I’ve seen. I could picture everything he was explaining. I can’t wait to consciously apply it. Keep up the great work! 👍
I was thinking the exact same thing, he paints a great relatable mental pitcher.
This direction is great Neevesy. Reviews are all well and good but this is the sort of juicy insight folks are hungry for. Get your own channel and fly free.
Ben he has his own channel, but doesn’t post much on it. I guess his hobby/job is riding bikes, not making and editing video’s
Fall out with his employer ? Hmm Ben 🤔
I love these vids he's doing , more so than some reviews he does wich are so short. good work!
These are fast becoming a 'must watch' for me. I've done the Ron Haslam race school.
Superb experience.
I'd never done a trackday and just being able to turn up and get everything given to me to ride was fantastic.
I just wish Neevesy lived next door to me. Brilliant method for imparting knowledge.
I'd been riding for 32 years when I was bought a day at Ron Haslams school in 2008, I learned more about riding in that one day than I had in the previous 30 years!
Have already watched this twice. Will likely watch again many more times in the days to come. 👍
Thank you for your time 👊
I just did a small ride with one exception. I bent my inside arm during corners... Wow, now I have to incorporate it all together, step by step. From one guy, thank you.
Neevsy is as articulate as Simon and as passionate as Sylvan. I’m really enjoying the content. Thanks
Brilliant information, seriously considering doing the RH race school after this shitty lockdown. Good work!
Me too
Definitely the best instruction for people new to track days that I have come across, if you get this guy on your track day you'll leave with a smile on your face and the rubber right side up,
Absolute gems in there Neevsey. Some great tips for a novice on track like me. Also some jewels for the road too.

what he explains is like poetry.i didn't see it that way before. so beautiful the way he see that..thank you so much.
Own channel. Needs to be done. This is awesome content and so digestible. You know it’s quality when I can listen on my headphones while driving and visualise the ride. Thanks for sharing your experience and insights.
I could listen to this guy all day, makes complete sense and very watchable, thank you Michael Neeves and MCN

Neevesy`s explanations are the best. Very clear and precise. His bike reviews too!
Managed a 1.58 at Ron’s school on the blade last year. Can’t wait for July to ride the new blade.
Amazing school and instructors!
I am really thankful for the lockdown, we get all these nice vlogs.
Love the way he relates the straights as mini drag strips"" is somthing i have alway said ! I come from drag racing and moto -x to road and circuit and adopt the same principle.

Very true, thanks for sharing. One of my best channels 👊🏼👍🏼
So good. A typical youtuber would have padded that out into like 20 videos but here it's just bam, top stuff start to finish and very useful. Will have to do the race school ASAP.
Doing track days years in advanced and still found this really useful👍
Thank you! Now more excited and a bit more confident on doing my 1st ever track day on a bike this Sunday!
I rode Phillip Island this week (what a dream). I really really wish I had seen this first. The only thing I feel I was getting right was body positioning, watching this. More than anything, I was getting throttle in the corners completely wrong.
Great video!
Don't take this out of context. But the only reason I watch MCN is because of Michael Neeves. Love your work mate. Come to Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺
What a beautiful explanation especially off the throttle on the corners , thanks bud
Great stuff Mr. Neeves. You are doing motorcyclists and motorcycling a great service. I hope folks are paying attention.
Lots to take on board and wonderfully presented, a class act, thank you
Watching after my first track day. This is very helpful looking back to the day and for my next track day. Thanks very much.
I done the Ron Haslem race school a year or so ago, it’s a great day a lot to take in and the tuition is really good as you would expect. A worthwhile experience and when we get through this crap time I will be booking again , spot on Neevesy 👍.
I’ve watched this vid six times now before my tracks days and without a shadow of a doubt it’s the best articulated short track day guide 👍
Ron Haslam school - I went there for my first time on track. You can use their bikes and their clothing gear. I thought it was excellent. Easy to recommend.
Excellent video! Need to get myself on an Elite day with Neevesy!
This is great information and the best part is its free. Most people have to pay for a track day this gain this knowledge.
Loving these vids, Rocket Ron's school on the menu asap...cheers.
This is pure gold, thank you!
Imagine doing a few track sessions with Neevesy watching you and then giving you instruction.
one of the best tutorials, this is special for a track clamoring novice teack rider like me.
Much helpful . your wording and explaining is gold. I'm looking to do my first track day once I take delivery of the new cbr1000rrr sp here in the US.
Regretting selling my Fireblade for something more sensible now. Neevesy is easy watching and make a lot of sense. Ron should be busy when the lockdown is over, it's on my to do list.

First track day end of March , this has answered a lot of questions , thanks
Right now, this is the most useful motorcycle channel! Another banging video from Neevesy.
Thanks mate, just went for a ride on the closest thing we have to a track (Mt. Haleakala) and your "bend your inside arm in the corner" tip enabled me to erase my rear chicken strips down to about 1.5 mm. Almost there!

Goodonya Neevesy. Looking forward to trying out these techniques. Cheers.
These are amazing tips brother. Wish more "experts" would have this ability to teach. If I had watched this video ten years ago, I'd be a much better track rider right now.
The throttle and braking commentary is phenomenal. I cannot wait to practice it when CV-19 ends. Thanks, Neevesy!
Watching this back to back and every time I am learning something new ....big thanks sir ...safe miles from India.
Thanks for passing along this amazing info Michael!
Thankyou so much for making this video Neevesy! I feel I've learnt so much from it. I've just had two track days cancelled due to the situation but will be watching this over a few times before I eventually get to ride. I have watched the others you mentioned so I have a great chance of something sinking in to try! Thankyou.
same situation here (Belgium) ; next one was scheduled on May 4, I fear that one will be cancelled too :(
Ron Hallam school was the best track experience ever, fantastic day and a real shame it’s now finished
What a super vid. Just what I need for my first track day! Keep up the great work and thanks
Thanks again Neevesy!
Amazing video. Thanks Neevesy. Huge fan.
Another really helpful video and explained well too. Thank goodness for Neevesy and Sylvain during the lockdown.
These are excellent mate, keep em up.
Frigging awesome instructional videos. This video have answered so many questions I can’t thank you enough.
Keep em coming this has been brilliant so far 👍
I would rate this video as one the best from MCN. Great content. Thanks.
I want to thank you so much for your verbal guidelines to writing track days it’s absolutely perfect I listen to you very carefully and I’m going to adapt what you have told me on track I’ve been following you for years huge fan we’re out here in Phoenix Arizona USA I ride as /ZX10r and do local tractors thank you so much and I’ll be listening to any upcoming talks you may have
Fantastic, pragmatic and really useful! I practice every time I’m on my blade now.
Brilliant and love these Neevesy 1-2-1 vids. So helpful, Thanks 🙏
You really do become a better Rider when you start doing track days.
Fantastic as always. Done Ron Haslam School a few times (with Danny Webb in Elite last time) and it really is brilliant. Not had the pleasure of Mr Neeves yet though!
So much valuable information,
I certainly appreciate it my brother!
So good, I watched it again. Thx!

Really detailed yet easy to understand advice! Better than anything I’ve heard in the couple of track training session I’ve had. Thanks,
So good, it just shows how much to learn all the time. Very good advices.
Nevesy knows everything - time for someone else MCN
Great instruction video, being an ex racer and track day fan, it’s great to remind yourself of the basics. It’s quite easy to pick up bad habits.
Nice vid from Neevesy👌
This advice is solid gold - much better than the usual “follow the leader” at the standard track day. When this coronapocalypse lets up I’m tempted to take a trip over for one of these Hallam track schools!
Excellent!
Loved the part on the gears, since this has been something I've been thinking/puzzled about.
Thanks.
It just doesn’t get much better than this👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍
Outstanding as always 👍🏻
Love this guy! Thanks for the info Neevesy...really a great primer for even experienced riders who don't do a lot of track days.
Such a good guy. Thanks for posting
