Very heroic police officer saved my life in 2011. No one heard, didn't make headlines or the news, wasn't on social media. Bad cops victimizing communities treating human beings like they aren't, only get coverage. Media should cover brutality extensively just not to the exclusion of all else. Thank you for this video and raising awareness.

Crime is actually way down, and we are living in the safest time in human history.
At any other time period, a person was much more likely to victim of violence, but if all you do is watch TV, you will think that it is unsafe to ever leave your home.
This is only one reason why I got rid of my cable subscription.

Omg the end made me cry. Whenever she got pepper sprayed and then until the end, I almost cried. Being a police officer is really hard and tough. We don’t show them enough respect. ❤
I agree. People forget that most police officers are good people just trying to help make their communities safer. I’m sick of them being treated like crap while the criminals are idolized on social media.
This video prepared me for what I'm going to experience in the Academy.
Not quite sure how I stumbled across this video. As a currently serving police officer, I love that you dove into this without bias and published it for the world to see. The individuals (officers) in this video are very good at explaining the tactics used and it shows that they have a passion for training and putting on the streets the best possible police recruits.

I 100% agree. I'm no longer certified, but I definitely see how often EMTs are forgotten. Obviously we don't do it for the recognition (or the pay if there is any lol), but it's still nice to not be forgotten!

@@lilirodriguez8851 thats what training is for this is just an example of training but real training reforms your mind and gets u ready for almost anything ive gone through 9 months of army boot camp and i came out a completely different person like a robot.

I've actually thought about becoming a cop before but I decided against it, not because of what people think about cops (I love cops, don't get me wrong) but because I have epilepsy and can't drive or be tased, and all that jazz. I'll just stick to loving and lifting them up. 🤗😂👍❤️❤️❤️

Being pepper sprayed is one of the most painful things I've ever encountered- the first time it happened to me I could stand up for nearly five minutes. I can't even begin to imagine how it would feel being tased.
I've been OC sprayed and tased and I think she is acting like it's worse than it is.
Nah, she exaggerated the spray, no one in my whole academy class acted as bad as she did. Sure it effects some people more but she just blindly flailed at the bag.

@@emiliajones8090 Most academies don't the Taser certification anymore, it's usually handled by your department. But much rather be tased than have a OC spray exposure. The pain of the taser is greater, but only last 5 minutes than you feel like a million dollars and it's over.
You should do a series with first responders. You already did the police, so next you should do the fire department then EMTs.

@@oooqwe5350 I'm an MP in the Army and had to go through being tased/OC (pepper spray)/cs gas chambers multiple times/asp or baton training/shooting ranges, etc. Didn't cry for any of that, except i guess for OC Spray, You don't really have a choice, but honestly, OC spray will make a bitch out of anyone.
She's a badass for doing the whole course, but especially the taser and pepper spray thing. The latter really really sucks.
chris pepper spray was legit the worse day of my life while I was in the academy. I would rather be tasered any day than that hell again.

In the beginning with the boat and stuff it reminded me of this one time where me and my friends were sitting on the sid of the road next to a ditch and this cop who lived in the sub division I think slowed down and shouted out "you guys should move more into the ditch because you someone might come speeding around the corner and clip you" and I didnt feel embarrassed one bit I felt normal like it was just a cop doing their job protecting people (I was still in elementary at the time by the way) we all even laughed a bit about it and that possibly saved our lives so yeah

I cried so much when the officer was recalling his story of being shot at. I cannot imagine being in a situation like that. We should all thank the police officers that are helping communities all over the world

My dad's a police chief, and he brought me to the station when I was really young for "bring your kid to work day." He was training a new police officer and forgot to put me on watch inside his office. So I ended up going outside where the newbie was half throwing up and crying with all fours on the ground from the same routine they did with the pepper spray, and I started bawling my eyes out because I remember myself thinking that he was about to die.
