Omg I literally started crying when you got asked to be her godmother. That’s a really high honor and you get a little buddy for life to spoil and love.
tbh. I don't even know who my godparents are. I have one, and my other 3 siblings have other godparents too. But, in reality, there is no benefit to us from having one. Either that or my and my sister's godparents are awful lol
Me too. I started sobbing cause my godmother died when I was about 12 - 13 and it truly was devastating even though I wasn't that close with her, since she lived kind of far you do develop a connection with them
oh absolutely, if his first delivery as a practicing OBGYN was right out of med school, he would need to be in the practice for *at least* 12-15 years, but more likely 20-30+
35 weeks pregnant today and the anxiety is real about labor and delivery. This was a great watch! Edit: Got scheduled for an induction at 37 weeks due to high blood pressure and baby no longer gaining weight. Had a C-section and it went very well, baby boy was born 4lbs 15oz and passed all his tests, he is as healthy as ever! Thank you for all the well wishes!
You will do great dear! Us women are made for this! I had unbearable anxiety especially in the hospital but he was born within 30 mins of feeling my first contraction! No epidural and it was fine! You will do great whichever way babe is born ❤️ God bless you and your baby
I was terrified to give birth. But when the time comes, your body know what to do. I know it's cheesy, but the first time you see them, hear their first cry and hold them; nothing else matters and it was all worth it. Just enjoy every second of it. Even the sleepless nights. Because time really does fly. Wishing you a safe delivery and a happy, healthy baby.
What helped me was to breath deeply. Usually, when we are nervous we don't breathe well. Also keeping the legs straight when standing boosts the energy of the body to deliver the baby. All the best to you!
I don’t think there’s no other experience that made me feel more powerful than giving birth. It’s painful, but realizing how far you can push yourself and then meeting the little person that’s been apart of you for almost a year is such a wild experience. If there’s any advice I could give, it would be walk around a lot before getting the epidural, if you wanna get one. I could barely feel my contractions while walking around and it’s supposed to help speed things along. You got this, mama!
I’m a nursing student and I just saw my first c-section delivery yesterday afternoon. It was the most unreal experience ever and I teared up the second that baby boy started crying (,:
I'm currently going for my nursing route and I just gotta say, this was an amazing thing to see. And to see the mannequin in action as well. I am so glad that Michelle was able to experience that. Bless her heart❤
As an EMT I've gotten to assist with about four deliveries in the field/ER/L&D and it's the coolest thing in the world!! Thankfully there were no complications and moms and babies were just fine. Women's bodies are just amazing! ❤
As a father of a 11 year old girl. I want to thank you for the videos you make, you show real life carreers and inspire little girls to be better. You are the kind of influencer and youtuber everyone should know.
this video had me crying the whole time. my heart goes out all every mother out there who went through this to give life to there child. i will forever be appreciative of my mom and for everything she did for me to be here. i love you mom ❤
As a labour and delivery nurse it was fun watching you do this. You did great at the simulation Michelle! I'm glad you're using your platform to educate that Labour and delivery is not all rainbows and butterflies. We are not just cuddling babies all day. There are life threatening emergencies for both mom and baby where we act fast.
Thank you for being a Neonatal Nurse. My daughters Mother had some great ones when the decision was made to with a C section they moved very quickly. You are one of many heroes I salute for being there when the chips are down for all expectant Mother's. My wife at that time had a deformity of her uterus that was unknown until the birth of our Daughter. She had a heart shaped Uterus that also had a thin wall of muscle directly in the middle. Our Daughter basically ran out of room to grow and her water broke 6 weeks early, our daughter was also breach they found out so the decision was made for both of their safety to do the C section. I am forever grateful to the Doctors, Nurses, and attendants that were there that night/ early morning and they saved both of their lives in my opinion.
Yes! As a former L&D nurse i feel you did an excellent job at showing both the scary and beautiful parts of birth. We always hoped that people always experienced the joy and labour of love of childbirth, but that if people did hit bumps in the road they had the passionate, committed, caring, and capable help they needed to have the best outcome possible.
you guys see the best moments of life and the worst moments. y’all are incredible people and are so strong. don’t ever forget there are resources for you guys.
Man, this one made me emotional. My first baby, my daughter Brooke was stillborn at 33 weeks. This brought me back to that moment. I have 4 beautiful living, now adult children that i love more than anything in this entire world. Being a mom is everything i always wanted. After loosing Brooke that desire was undescribable. Thanks for making this video. ❤
deep respect to all the doctors and nurses in various fields who have to deal with daily trauma, you really help people with childhood fears or trauma gain confidence to chase to their dreams.
The mother who’s having her child on the same day as the fathers birthday really touched me since me and my dad share a birthday, and I’ve loved every second of every single one
I was also premature. Only weighed 1 lb 13.5 oz and the doctors told my mom that I would have many complications, but here I am at 23 years old and 100% healthy. Couldn’t be any more blessed and my mom still talks to the nicu nurses that cared for me!
Try mortuary school! Showing women in the industry of funeral services is important and it would mean a LOT to funeral directors to see their industry portrayed in a positive light and not to mention the public being educated!
As a momma who has 1 miracle daughter here on earth & 5 babies in Heaven, this was so beautiful to watch. I love that you included both kinds of births, so important & had me crying the entire time. I’d love if you’d consider doing a series on trying to conceive, that would help so many people! Thank you for all you do! You’re amazing!♥️
Bless your heart! I'm happy you have your miracle daughter! My heart goes out to you on having to go through so much! You have many angels looking over you. You are so courageous and strong. I also think a series on trying to conceive would be a help to many women out there!
Watching this as a momma and fellow nurse who has been in the delivery room as well. Its truly an impactful life changing experience to be able to watch life being born! Wether it be through a vaginal delivery or a cesarean. Mommas go through so much and make so many sacrifices. After becoming a mom and having children of my own i can say i truly appreciate my mom for all she has done for me to be here. Mommas are real super heroes and they don’t need a cape!
This episode has me in tears, weeping. I've been putting off this episode because I knew it would get me emotional and I have to say, from a mother of two, this is beautiful. The joy of motherhood in my life is unmatched and completely worth every tear, every drop of blood, every stitch. Thank you.
My mom was 14 when she had to go through this her parents wanted her to get an abortion but she decided not to and now I'm here so being able to see what she had to go through at such a young age made me apriceate her more. I love you so much mom
@@omar4713what’s so surprising about her age? You know most girls can get pregnant at 9 or 12 years old, because most of them being sexually abused. And other girls/teen girls they don’t care about schools, future life careers etc, they party, do drugs and have sex when they’re too young to be doing that because not many kids are responsible to become a mother yet….. And I mean sometimes I don’t agree for a 16 year old girl to have sex and get pregnant because for me she’s still a kid and has not yet developed to be mature, now I didn’t say all girls just most of them, but I know most kids at that age they still learning about new life beginnings learning to be mature, independent becoming better parents than most adults. And you know a 13 or 14 year old can too.. But it still saddens me and breaks my heart because they are still kids and kids having kids.. I don’t know if to say oh it’s a precious moment if a kid/teen girl had given birth but has successfully become a great mother with great education and responsibilities than most adult women…. While other girls they do the unthinkable actions if that makes sense like, living a negative life, because of sex drugs, drinking partying etc and not going to school, they gave birth but don’t care about their newborn or their children …
Dear Michelle, I want to say thank you for making this video because it was beautiful. 17 years ago my own mum had very high risk pregnancies and because of that my umbilical cord wrapped around my neck and was slowly killing me, she too had an emergency c-section and fortunately enough we both lived. Your video today is inspiring because your showing the truth and your overcoming a fear that I share. I hope and pray that you continue to spread the truth and bring light to people who are always overshadowed. So thank you Michelle may you have a bright and bounty full future with Lots of love and happiness.
That's what happened to my niece. My sister had a chill pregnancy up until labor. 36 hours later and no progression, they decided to do a c-section. My sister was upset that she couldn't deliver vaginally up until they realized the umbilical cord wrapped around baby's neck and it saved her life
I was present when my wife gave birth to our child. I was there to support her, holding her hand and encouraging her when she felt like she had no strength left. 'Just one more push, and I can braid our daughter’s hair' - this comment helped her gather the strength for the final pushes. I even got to cut the umbilical cord, bathe the baby, and assist the nurses with weighing and measuring her. I admire women who go through this experience and encourage fathers to participate in the birth. The moment is magical. You don’t get to witness the arrival of new life into this world every day 😊 Thank you also to the skilled medical staff for your important and professional work. And thank you, Michelle, for making these videos.
Same here girly I want to be a postpartum nurse and the thing that doctor said was so me, I want to be with healthy young women and being there in one of their happinest moments
I’m deadset on not having children ever. I’m quite young and my family says I’ll change my mind when I’m older but I know I won’t, but I’ve always had great respect for pregnant people and seeing the process only strengthened that respect. Thank you for this video and keep up the kickass work! 😊💪🏽
Don't let your family ever say that to you. 'You'll change your mind'. You wouldn't say that to someone who is planning on having kids. And being young doesn't diminish your choice either. I was 14 when I firmly decided to never have kids. I'm 21 ow and it hasn't changed. In fact my stance got stronger as I got older.
same here. many different reasons for that. But I do know how important families are as our core in society and how desperately the elites try to eliminate that to destabilize us all…
I’ve always been sure I wanted kids, no one ever questioned me, and now I them. Not sure why people don’t give the same respect to those who don’t want them!
I absolutely LOVED this episode of Challenge Excepted, my brother and I are twins and were delivered via C-Section. Very pre-mature, and I have yet to ask her what she had gone through or felt on that day and the days after while we were in the NICU. This episode brings so much light to other who may be curious of the struggles, pure joy or fear of birth. Thank you Michelle for this wonderful episode.
"We don't want the baby bungee jumping." 😂 What a funny and sweet doctor/teacher!❤ He is very human and the type of doctor/person you want and need to deliver your baby! I loved this video. 🥰
Can’t wait to graduate in a few months and then start nursing school. I’m a senior in high school with my CNA and MA while interning at an urgent care. My ultimate goal is to be a nurse practitioner midwife as I’ve always dreamed of when I was little. It’s already been so fulfilling, I’m so excited to take my career further. This video made my day. Thank you for posting :) I know I’m 5 months late but I’m just now sitting down to watch lmao.
My mom gave birth to 7 of us, naturally, and at home. I have been able to be in the room and witness 5 of my sibling's births and cut 4 umbilical cords. Witnessing the birth of any child is honestly one of the best experiences anyone can have. I'm very glad that you were able to not only experience some version of it but be involved in it too.
@@nick.100 my mom had 4 kids and as I’m the middle child I could’ve theoretically watched my younger brothers be born but since I was 3 my parents didn’t want me to experience the joys of childbirth
I never wanted to birth children but I was lucky to be in the room when my little sister gave birth to my nephew(14) and niece(5). I cried both times. Those two kiddos are my favorite people. I'd literally die for them.
Seeing the before and after delivery mothers made this so much more impactful! The birth simulation part seems so tough but the satisfaction in the parents' faces after makes this seem so much more worth it!
Everyone was ecstatic when my sister got pregnant, I was the only one concerned since our generation has already had two miscarriages. We now have a healthy 11 month old nephew 🐥
Miscarriages happen for a variety of reasons. It’s not genetic. They are far more common than people think. It’s just that not everyone is public about it.
@@Dee-oe3ww I told my dad how common they are and he's like, "don't go telling your sister about that" 💀 he's the type to ignore problems to solve them
@@incelsmad I agree with your dad that it is very inappropriate to randomly bring up miscarriages to a pregnant woman. That’s like trying to discuss the mortality rates of cancer with someone who was just diagnosed. Both are unfortunately a part of life, and are often beyond anyone’s control. But you also don’t need to be inciting panic over something that may never happen.
As a person born premature and having their mom go through an emotional time because of it, it was so uplifting and inspiring to see this video! Labor and delivery nurses and doctors are so wonderful. Video idea: "I trained like an Olympic gymnast"
The fact that we got Michelle to talk about her sponsorship while watching Garrett suffer in the most awkward way was absolutely hilarious, and I can't stop watching it. Especially the end when the final level was revealed. Hope he's doing okay after it. 😂
My subtle flex is that I’m a medical student so I’ve delivered around 10 babies at this point. It’s actually one of the most incredible things I’ve ever done. I almost went into obgyn but I decided to do pediatrics instead.
This made me cry the ending was emotional. I respect my parents so much but from now it has doubled love you so much mom and dad will try my best to keep you happy
oh my god, THATS MY DOC!!! He’s incredible!! He’s delivering my second child & my first was absolutely beautiful! i can’t thank him enough, this is an incredible video and honestly SO proud of you for going through this experience 💖💖
I'm an EMT. On the way up to L&D I ended up having to deliver the mothers baby in the middle of an elevator alone. It was scary but it was amazing in the end
my cna instructor went through the same thing when she was an ER nurse. she was taking a patient up to L&D and the baby wasn’t waiting so she delivered the baby in the elevator.
It was so much fun being a part of this episode. Your whole team is so professional and and made everything seem so easy and light-hearted! Thank you so much for allowing me to help simulate the labor pains for you and Garrett!! ActiveRx PT is so proud to have been a part of this amazing documentary❤!
I agree! Of course it's not "exactly" like the contractions during labor, but it's a taste of what we Mom's have to go through for sure. Thinking about offering this service at my clinic now:))) @@AnnieE2013
As a medical student This really makes me appreciate all mothers and the hardships they go through to bring us into this world . And also gets me excited for whats coming PS love you mom
Good Luck to You, Future Doctor! Persevere, All the Studying, working Long Hours, etc. WILL BE Worth it! You got this!!! And Thanks for your Gratitude to your Mom, and All Mothers!
My mum is a general surgeon, and speaking to her recently, she told me how one of the specialties she originally thought about doing was OB-GYN. She said that she quickly realized she couldn't do it, because she wouldn't be able to stand how those parents' happiest day of their lives could so easily change to the absolute worst. With what she's doing now, she still has to perform C-sections every now and then, and she says it's always so beautiful, and the mums are always so strong regardless of what happens. These mothers and their doctors are absolute heroes.
My mom was a NICU and labor delivery nurse for 10 years before she was diagnosed with MS. Its a hard job that not a lot of people think much about. So cool to see you experience it.
this actually makes me cry because i never thought that my mom had to go through that while having me. she had many complications and its just unreal how bad i feel for her. this makes me understand more about birth and what its like. thank you michelle for helping people understnad with this video. i hope you have a lovely time and i hope everything goes well for every mother.
I can’t tell you how timely this is … as someone who is currently pregnant (third trimester), I’m really struggling with the idea of labor and delivery. While every part of me wants to meet my child, I can’t help but struggle with the way it happens and all the unknowns. This video is so helpful. 💓 Thanks so much for making it!
I’ve gone through it twice. It did hurt but it was the most exciting and beautiful experience of my life. Every push brings you closer to your baby. It’s an amazing feeling ❤ you will do great!
I had my first all natural last year. I felt my first comtraction and he was born 30 mins later. I was terrified too after seeing my sisters emergency c section when i was 12. My birth experience was so beautiful I promise it's not all horrible. ❤
I didnt know there was a name to the fear of giving birth until today. To this discovery i want to share something with you now: look up "what are the odds of being alive right now" and really think about that nunber. Our life is truly a gift, and we take our chances every day. Being born was one of them, and im happy youre here reading this right now. Thank you, mothers all around the earth ❤
What a wonderful video, Michelle. Thank you so much. You not only honored your own mom, but you honored all moms for the pain they experience and the sacrifices they make for their children. This made me smile, but also made me cry at the same time.
Thank you so much for doing this video. I cried. I have four kiddos. Two naturally and twins through c section. Seeing it on the other end, and you being so kind… recognizing our hardships… thank you so much.
Michelle, Thank you again so much for being apart of my labor and delivery experience!! You’re such a wonderful person inside and out and you deserve all the blessings coming your way! ❤️
I had my son almost 5 years ago and am currently 4 months pregnant with my first baby girl. Labor and birth is crazy, but it is worth every single second of pain. I actually found pregnancy harder than the birth itself because I was in a ton of pain my entire pregnancy but contractions only last so long. Yes they suck, But they stop after about a minute. And let’s not forget the beauty that is an epidural ❤ I LOVED mine.
I had the same experience. I was so mentally and physically prepared for the birth I ended up having, that it was a push but pretty much a breeze. It was 25 hrs (from the start of regular painful contractions 5 min apart) with 4 hrs of pushing. I got the epidural a couple hours after 6cm. Totally manageable. I struggled a lot more postpartum, because I wasn’t prepared mentally for the sleep deprivation and the extreme exhaustion and no experience with how to care for a newborn. It was glorious when baby reached 3 months. I got pregnant unexpectedly again though, but first trimester and 4 month sleep regression are still better than early postpartum for me.
I had a sister who was three months early, my mother woke me up when I was seven in the middle of the night bleeding - I have also had fear of childbirth since then. Thank you Michelle, your videos are always so amazing. You keep calling all these women bad*ss, but don't forget you are a bad*ss too.
As a emergency C-section baby this video hit hard.. When my mom was pregnant with me I had stopped breathing and moving. My mom was rushed in for an emergency C-section. My mom went thru it all from almost losing her baby to now living with a life long infection. Women are wonderful.
as a nursing student, I very much enjoy the representation through this video but I would love to see a whole video dedicated to the different fields of nursing (ER, ICU, PEDS, PSYCH, etc.) considering there was one for paramedics. Although nurses were shown, I would love to see a video dedicated to the field and possibly different scenarios of each type of patient within the given field. As students, we have "Simulations" where we conduct "real-life" scenarios with different types of patients and their different disease processes. I would love to see Michelle conduct some of those scenarios. It is very rewarding but it is also very challenging and it will be interesting for those to see what we learn and go through each day. Thank you for the amazing entertainment :)
This is incredibly eye opening! My Mum had severe toximia with me, so I'm an only child who has never, ever wanted children and Mum accepts that she won't get grandchildren haha. I've never wanted them and I'm not a maternal person whatsoever! Amazing to see you do this, Michelle. You're amazing ❤
Michelle this one got me! I had placenta previa at 29 weeks and was admitted for 3 days, preparing an emergency c-section. Thankfully my daughter held on 10 more weeks but I was on mandatory bed rest which impacted my ability to work a job I had started that same year. Then at 39 weeks my daughter was born but I hemorrhaged because of the placenta previa and required a blood transfusion and almost had a hysterectomy. I can't remember much of my labor and delivery because of this but I recalled telling myself if I died it wouldn't be fair. I've had endometriosis since 14 and at the time of my delivery already experienced 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic pregnancy. So my daughter was a miracle from God and there was no way I wasn't going to see her grow up. Well today she is 8 years old, turning 9 in November and was able to watch this video with me. I got to explain everything that transpired during her birth through your video. I nearly cried. Since then my daughter has had her own testimony having been diagnosed with Hip Displaysia at birth and Nephrotic Syndrome at age 2. But I just want to leave you with this reminder. The stories written for our lives on this earth were written to impact and transform lives. It's our decision if we share it or not, but you gave your mom a voice to tell her story through you today and there's no greater empowerment, especially from your child. God bless you Michelle!
This video has made me respect my mom even more even more even more… I was an emergency C section baby and all I have ever been told is that it’s because my umbilical cord got wrapped around my legs and neck, and I swear after this I feel like I didn’t wanna know anymore about it but omg I respect every woman who has ever had a pregnancy and every women who has ever had a labour and delivery at any time of that pregnancy is even more
Great opportunities comes within God’s will and new life beginnings, just keep going to school, graduate, And become successful, I know you can do it, don’t give up your hopes and dreams. I’m 34 and yet never been a mother 😢… But I hope to be someday .. May God bless you in your future
Oh my god, that ending with your message to your mother brought me to tears. I am easily emotional towards sadness and a mix of joy and sad. I wish you for the best for a beautiful future.
To any man out there watching this, please do not pressure or guilt trip the woman in your life to have a baby. It's their body, which will go under a significant amount of a lot. Please respect their fears and their time to do something, and definitely still love them if they choose to not have a baby. If you can't, let them go so they can find a partner who will respect them this much.
Some guy literally told me this when I told them someone similar: “If it all really hurt so bad, then women wouldn’t be having so many babies.” Complete rude b****.
For the men who are actually reading this, ignore everything after the first sentence of OP's comment. Kids are a major dealbreaker in relationships, and it is 100% ok to break up with her because you don't share the same values. It doesn't you mean you don't love her or respect her. It simply means you two have opposing life goals, and staying together means one of you will be unfulfilled in life until you flatline.
I think a man trying to force a woman to have a baby is disrespectful but I don’t think a couple separating because they have different family goals should be considered disrespectful, I believe a separation in that case would be showing respect to both parties wants in a situation like that
Me (a man) not wanting kids is a deal breaker, and this is something i share early on. I say something like if we want this relationship to turn serious i will tell you not wanting kids is a deal breaker i understand and respect if you dont want kids and i wont force one person to do so. But as i have said, it is a deal breaker to me. If you need time to make the decision, take as much time as you need, but whatever you choose, i will respect you
Me and my wife had a ectopic pregnancy back in mid-July as our little girl was only 12 weeks old. Little Iris gave Momma a really hard time, and they had to do an emergency abdominal surgery on her. Watching this together, makes us both cry and grieve. However, we’ve always loved your videos Michelle. Thank you for being such an inspiration, and for showing everyone the beauty life can be. ❤
literally crying right now, my mom had me as a C-Section, knowing she went through so much. I miss her dearly, and i appreciate all the women who go through this.
You did so well! What an amazing way to confront your fears. I’m the most squeamish person in the world and was so terrified of labour, but somehow got through two labours with emergency c-sections… both worth every pain, every moment of fear and anxiety, every bodily change during pregnancy and even after, every sleepless night. I’m so thankful for the wonderful, compassionate medical professionals who kept me and my babies safe and healthy.
Hey Michelle! Another premie here! My mom had an emergency C-section at 25 weeks and I came out at 1 pound 1 oz. I admire you so much for bringing this topic to a wider audience. :) I bet my mom would say the same as all the mothers in your video: that the pain and nervousness and sometimes life-altering situation of childbirth is so so worthwhile in the reward of having that little one to take care of. I am now perfectly healthy and I just turned 18. Can't wait to see you have one of your own someday, and with how strong you are I know you will definitely rise to the challenge!
I know I'm a complete stranger on the Internet, but I am so happy that you are here! ❤️ Extreme props and gratitude for those doctors and nurses that manage to save babies like you 🥺 I'm glad you are here and alive to make this comment 🙏
i can't believe how brave u are to do these kind of things. Your always so willing to save people's lives and it's incredible. You are truly blessed by god. We are so lucky to have you in this world. Michelle, you are the reason why i've been studying to become a Police Officer.
This video had me crying my eyes out, specially because I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I still can't believe it! Specially after all the fertility issues that I've been through. Thank you for this video Michelle!
Hi I’m not sure how you are doing right now but I hope with all my heart that everyone is doing ok, we don’t know each other and I’m only 15 but being pregnant must be super stressful, you are waaaay stronger than me.
As a person who’s parents are both doctors, father is cardiologist and mother is an obstetrician/gynecologist this people helped me understand how hard doctors and nurses work. Thanks Michelle.
This is amazing and I was born weighing 1lbs 7oz and I am extremely grateful for what my mother went through for me even if she passed away not too long ago I am extremely grateful for everything she did for me and my sister, Michelle this video makes me so happy to watch I am almost crying and I rarely ever cry
Whenever a baby is born, a mother is born. It's like we become whole new people and learn to see the world with a whole new set of eyes right along with them. ❤ Oh, and my name is Kimberley with an e too. 😊👍
@@catfeatherss Oh I love this comment. We definitely become a different person when we become a mother-I think we have to. -and I love meeting a fellow LEY Kimberley ❤️❤️❤️
I shed a tear or two at the end... Yes - when your child will come, the love you will feel is unlike any other and makes everything worth it. To my two children - I am so proud of who you are becoming and I love you so, so much❤
I was born two weeks premature planed and my mom had to take steroids like a month before so she could have me because I was hurting her liver and I am so thankful for you and that you are sharing your story just cause it never really gets talked about. You are an INCREDIBLE woman and I wish I was half as brave as you
I absolutely admire Michelle from the bottom of my heart. She is one of the bravest and toughest girls I have ever seen in my entire life. Im happy that your mom made such a passionate girl like you and i am positive that you will be as good of a mother as she was. This video genuenlly made me tear up and the inspiration you deliver to all of us are unmatched. ❤
For those of us watching this video who don't have children, this has also been an eye-opening experience, and you stepped up to the challenge like a pro, Michelle. Congratulations to both families.
Im balling rn this is soo beautiful and it makes me appreciate everything soo much more. A women body is soo incridible to grow a freaking human being and carry that child for 9 months is insane and im soo grateful for that❤❤
Michelle, I had an emergency cesarean section 7 months ago. Once you cried after you got the baby out, I cried with you. It has been the most surreal experience & year.
Hi Michelle! I love your videos so much, each & every challange accepted video makes my whole month! I know that you've already tried gymnastics before (a video with buzzfeed), but i can't help dreaming about you one day making a "I tried Gymnastics" Video! I've always wanted to do gymnastics, but the fact that if you dont start young in gymnastics, you'll never make it, has discouraged me. You are amazing and you persevere at every challenge thrown at you in each sport you try! You inspire me so much with every one of your videos, i hope one day you'll do a gymnastics video :)
I think it's also to note that not every mum has that feeling of love and connection to start with, and if you are in that current situation please dont feel guilty it will get better I promise❤
Childbirth is honestly one of the most fascinating and terrifying things to learn about. While getting my EMT license I remember the depth our class went through to cover what exactly was happening during trimesters, associated health complications and risk factors, assisting with delivery and resucitating a baby. I still remember how disgusting the fluids felt on the delivery dummy in our labs. It takes a lot to be able to face fears like this so huge kudos!!
Just seeing dis i really feel so emotional but people around me did not understand what is going on on my mind but sincerely God bless all mothers not matter their current behavior towards their kids 😢 God bless your kind heart 🥺😘😘💝💝💝
Congratulations on becoming a Godmother Michelle!! Thats epic🎉🎉🎉🎉I didn't know you and your mom went through that. Thank God you made it, because you are bringing so much joy to those around you. Your mother is so brave and loving, you are truly blessed sis. Thank you to all of the moms out there, and congratulations to the mothers in this video, its so awesome to see the process of what moms go through and for some reason seeing it does make you a little less afraid of the time when it comes. I didnt realize how much goes into bringing us into this world. Great job Michelle. Keep sharing joy and awareness with others, who knows maybe a baby Michelle or Garrett will come into the family "Baby Accepted"😂. For real though, I pray that you continue to stay encouraged and have an awesome rest of your day. P.s. I challenge you to join a hurricane rescue team. God bless 👋🙏💕

That's so true

Omg I literally started crying when you got asked to be her godmother. That’s a really high honor and you get a little buddy for life to spoil and love.
Me too
tbh. I don't even know who my godparents are. I have one, and my other 3 siblings have other godparents too. But, in reality, there is no benefit to us from having one. Either that or my and my sister's godparents are awful lol
No shot that actually happened. Legitimately
Me too. I started sobbing cause my godmother died when I was about 12 - 13 and it truly was devastating even though I wasn't that close with her, since she lived kind of far you do develop a connection with them
@natassjasliker7166 I was so confused when he said that, cause Michelle didn't help specifically with their labor so I was like ??? Why?
"I've delivered babies for babies I've delivered" has to be the biggest flex
oh absolutely, if his first delivery as a practicing OBGYN was right out of med school, he would need to be in the practice for *at least* 12-15 years, but more likely 20-30+

ONG it is 😂
Now I understood the statement
That just makes me feel sad, seeing someone in their first moments and seeing their kid in that kid’s first moments
Ok

Last two minutes I just broke :( this was so awesome and sad 😔 but great job and congrats on being a god mother ❤

As a father of a 11 year old girl. I want to thank you for the videos you make, you show real life carreers and inspire little girls to be better.
You are the kind of influencer and youtuber everyone should know.
And you're a good father for being able to see the healthy influence that's best for your daughter and all other little girls all the best 🙏

Thank you for being a nurse, I could never do your job

Man, this one made me emotional. My first baby, my daughter Brooke was stillborn at 33 weeks. This brought me back to that moment. Thanks for making this video. ❤

Incredible.
Yeah I weighed like 3 lbs when u was born and was sent to the nicu but here I am still alive 😄

14!!!!!???!!?!
You have a brave mother!!!! Life is such a miracle whenever it happens!

Same thing happened to me
That's what happened to my niece. My sister had a chill pregnancy up until labor. 36 hours later and no progression, they decided to do a c-section. My sister was upset that she couldn't deliver vaginally up until they realized the umbilical cord wrapped around baby's neck and it saved her life
ayyy umbilical cord club lol the same happened to me
I was present when my wife gave birth to our child. You don’t get to witness the arrival of new life into this world every day 😊
Thank you also to the skilled medical staff for your important and professional work. And thank you, Michelle, for making these videos.

I’m not having kids either
same here. many different reasons for that. But I do know how important families are as our core in society and how desperately the elites try to eliminate that to destabilize us all…
I'm 31 and still don't want kids. My mom knew she wanted to be a mother. I don't, I just don't feel the call to be one. And that's ok.
I remember when she cried on the 911 video after giving instructions for delivering a baby…. I’m so proud of Michelle for facing her fear ❤

Cut 4 of 5 ? Dang could have shared with your siblings lol jk that’s cool
@@nick.100 my mom had 4 kids and as I’m the middle child I could’ve theoretically watched my younger brothers be born but since I was 3 my parents didn’t want me to experience the joys of childbirth
The fact that she lowkey sounded like she was giving birth with the simulation shows you that it is actually realistic and takes sooooo much strength
@@bbr1ianna thanks, but I didn't do anything 🗿

My subtle flex is that I’m a medical student so I’ve delivered around 10 babies at this point. It’s actually one of the most incredible things I’ve ever done. I almost went into obgyn but I decided to do pediatrics instead.

Is it harder to be a delivery nurse or just a nurse
1:36 nah the funniest and most wholesome part is the her cameraman let her hold his hand lil thats so sweet
That's her husband, that's why

I can’t tell you how timely this is … as someone who is currently pregnant (third trimester), I’m really struggling with the idea of labor and delivery. Wait you are amber in the video???
I had my son almost 5 years ago and am currently 4 months pregnant with my first baby girl. Labor and birth is crazy, but it is worth every single second of pain. I actually found pregnancy harder than the birth itself because I was in a ton of pain my entire pregnancy but contractions only last so long. Yes they suck,
But they stop after about a minute.
It touched my heart once she asked you to be the baby’s godmother 😢
I had a sister who was three months early, my mother woke me up when I was seven in the middle of the night bleeding - I have also had fear of childbirth since then. Thank you Michelle, your videos are always so amazing. You keep calling all these women bad*ss, but don't forget you are a bad*ss too.
Thats pretty cool, i was three months early as well, how is she?
As a emergency C-section baby this video hit hard.. When my mom was pregnant with me I had stopped breathing and moving. My mom was rushed in for an emergency C-section. My mom went thru it all from almost losing her baby to now living with a life long infection. Women are wonderful.
Glad you made it through your a bad ass
as a nursing student, I very much enjoy the representation through this video but I would love to see a whole video dedicated to the different fields of nursing (ER, ICU, PEDS, PSYCH, etc.) considering there was one for paramedics.

If you need time to make the decision, take as much time as you need, but whatever you choose, i will respect you
The reach and yell for Garrett 1:36 melted my heart ❤️
"AAAH Terry!" I love how she kept calling for Terry.
Michelle. You’re amazing. This challenge accepted is going to be crazy
I’m 22 and I’ve been through this twice. It’s so hard yet so so worth it. Women are so strong! I loved this video so much.
I've never seen a more inspiring, brave, hardworking person than Michelle. You are amazing, Michelle ❤️
MICHELLES MOM STAYED STRONG AND NOW WE HAVE THE BEST QUALITY CONTENT EVER THANK YOU TO MICHELLE AND HER MOTHER HOPE YALL ARE A OKAY❤❤❤
Michelle, you are the reason why i've been studying to become a Police Officer.
i love how kind the people who allowed u to film their process’s are, wonderful group of people!
This video had me crying my eyes out, specially because I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I still can't believe it! Specially after all the fertility issues that I've been through. Thank you for this video Michelle!
Just so you know you are now required to provide a update to this comment when you give birth so we all know it went well
Hi I’m not sure how you are doing right now but I hope with all my heart that everyone is doing ok, we don’t know each other and I’m only 15 but being pregnant must be super stressful, you are waaaay stronger than me.
Hats off ❤ this video is a tribute for every mother in this world. You’re a super cool talented woman I’ve ever seen in my life ❤❤
I love that she spoke with pregnant women as well as the experts. So awesome to see both perspectives
Having a baby at 38, was the best experience of my entire life. She is a blessing and I thank God for her. It changed me in the best way ❤❤❤
Whenever a baby is born, a mother is born. It's like we become whole new people and learn to see the world with a whole new set of eyes right along with them. ❤
Oh, and my name is Kimberley with an e too.
This whole process makes you really appreciate mothers, and all they do for their children. It's amazing and beautiful.
