Came out great my only recommendation is to apply clear heavy that’s why there’s orange pill. Also your opinion but plasti dip is a great material you just have to know how to apply it. Great work again though!
Hey man, you may be able to sand, buff polish the clear coat and get rid of that orange peel that makes it textured looking. Definitely would add shine to it to. Looks great though!
Nice, John! I went the other way with all chrome grill other than the bow ties. My truck is a white, chrome and black theme. Doing a few mods to make the truck stand apart from the others can be rather fun! Thanks! :)
@@demonsubi yes I should do a good review in it now that I’ve had it done for a little while…. It looks good 10ft away still but you can see it when you get up close.
Where? Not sure I understand. I had mine paint matched if that’s what you’re asking.. RetroShop I mention a few times in this video. They do great work 🤟🏼

I love when people are so no nonsense and matter of fact unnecessarily lol Mr. “I hate plastic dip”😂😂
I’ve been wanting to do this to my Ram, excellent video! Btw, what is the part number of the upper grille appliqué parts?

I know this video is a year old, but next time if you go this route wet sand the clear coat up to 4000 or even 5000 grit. It makes a HUGE difference.
Just sand it after all painted and everything? Need to polish after?
How’s it holding up? I would only worry about rock chips
Honestly not so well… it’s chipping off pretty bad at this point
@@JohnWargo93 oh no! Haha damn so that didn’t last too long I need something that will last haga

@@MartinezFAMHawaii ehhh, not well. Lasted like 4 months before it starting peeling away 😬
@@JohnWargo93 Maybe it's better to spray primer first!
@@MartinezFAMHawaii maybe! I was just testing it out as the directions claim. Can’t say I was surprised to see it flake so quickly with no prep! Lol
Man! Probably 60k+ and u still get halogen headlights?

My can is dripping everywhere is that normal? Do I need to press hard?
I think that can may have a defect.
