@@Angyali earlier in the movie Falcone talks about Bruce’s father saving him by operating on him on his own dining room table and he remembers Bruce watching from the stairs. In this scene Bruce/Batman is looking down at Falcone and you can tell from Falcone’s expression that he recognized Bruce here
Quick parallel I noticed: At the Mayor's funeral, Falcone recounts a story of being shot, almost dying, showing up at the Wayne's to be operated on and Bruce as a little boy looking down from the stairs seeing the whole thing. "I remember your face" he says. Then in this scene, Bruce (as Batman) is looking down at Falcone as he dies. There's an intentional beat there. Is it possible Falcone "remembered his face"? This could also serve double duty as recalling the trauma of watching his parents die, which is more obvious but still effective.
Well in this film he is more of a secondary antagonist and they couldn’t do Long Halloween because of the animated movie (But I would’ve loved to see that so much)
Nah I disagree, this film made him feel like a powerful boss. It took this whole complicated scheme by Riddler with Batmans assistance just to take him down.
I thought this riddle was pretty dumb tbh. "Bring him into the light" somehow means Falcone getting shot and falling right under a random street light? Dont buy it for a second lol.
you can tell in his last breathing moments, Falcone realized that Batman is Bruce Wayne. "I remember your face."
yeah, but NOW ? At that moment? From what?
I took it as a "omg this is it" moment. U could be right

@@uchiha_inabi760 so glad Im not the only one who thinks the same!!
Kinda like l's death in death note
Imagine how giddy Riddler was when he saw Penguin turn into a complete idiot and pull a gun in front of the entire GCPD
I was the only person in a sold out theater to laugh at Penguin's words.
Penguin was hilarious and no forced hilarity like other hero movies

so fucking stoked for his HBOmax show
@@Cipher_Nine They had that power but then just kept using the humanor in every fucking line and scene deflating tension, drama, tragedy. jfc.

I think he recognised him... This mask isn't very good at hiding facial features
I remember when this scene happened I said to my friend next to me “why is penguins pants so high up”
Your asking like the Penguin has never had questionable fashion sense
You must have never seen how the classic penguin used to wear..
this is prolly the best he has worn in any movies 😂
I like this Batman being with the cops around
*reads the title
Gordon: "You make it sound like he had it coming"
Wish we got more Carmine with the badass scar he gets after this encounter like in The Long Halloween
In my opinion Falcone was able to recognize Bruce right before he died
yeah that's a really cool headcanon
In all honesty.... I forgot about the riddler in this scene
He’s a monster now.
Note the difference between Falcone and Riddler. Falcone is all about the monies, whilst “some men just want to watch the world burn.”
Not really, riddler actually have a purpose,
Cleaning Gotham from the corruption
@@spunkymaniac9312 he didn’t want to clean Gotham of its corruption, he just wanted to be seen after being invisible his whole life.
@@mikephelps9238 It's both actually. He wanted to clean Gotham while being noticed by Batman for his efforts and how he deems their connection.
Even Penguin hate rat no matter if you a king pin of the Underworld
Bring him into the light and
you’ll find where I’m at.
some of that scenery resembles the end of batman 89 when the cops were headed into the church
Bring the rat into the light. And you'l find where I'm at.
He meant that literally, just like the thumb drive.
No offense but this is actually pretty dignified compared to how Falconie died in the Telltale games.
They aways kills falcone like this, like he IS nothing. Batman Telltale and now The Batman
He's not dead In the dark knight trilogy though
I admit that Falcon deserves better as an end (worthy of The Long Halloween)
He was Batman’s first true supervillain.
Well in this film he is more of a secondary antagonist and they couldn’t do Long Halloween because of the animated movie (But I would’ve loved to see that so much)

I think his death was a set up.

Falcone was a better villain then Riddler in this movie!
No
Penguin is the best
@@LeaderYangEquality regardless both better then riddler
@@jamesenglebert9149 no riddler was clearly the bigger villain
they're all good, just never as good as tdk trilogy villains

Penguin: It wasn’t me, but I wish it was!
Can someone explain to me why Penguin was not really afraid of doing anything in front of the cops? Did he have like some secret relations with them?
yes
Cops don't really care. It's Gotham.

Say what you will about The Riddler, but to me, Carmine Falcone was the true villain of the movie
