I never went to art school but I did go to a community college for criminal justice, and though I learned nothing about art, I learned so much about storytelling and looking at things from a different POVthat I am applying to my art now. PlusI took every psychology course available because I find the human mind fascinating . What I liked about being at a community college was they every professor worked in the field and they were PASSIONATE.
I am also glad that when I left school, I had zero debt from it, as opposed to what it would have cost me to go to a university. Glad to hear your experience in this!

It would be great to have an episode on the “What I studied after I quit Art school”. You often talk about the Loomis and improving on the job, but jugding from your teaching videos, it looks like you have gone through a lot of online courses, too.
I think you’ve mentioned Scott Robertson’s How to Draw at some point and getting some pointers from Craig Mullings himself through forums.
It would be cool to have a video on your pesonal self teaching journey. Even the probable ones where the course was really good but it wasn’t something that you really applied to your art afterwards. More on a biographical point of view then a “here are the courses and books that every artists need to learn from”
Keep these up. It’s great content!

Tim, thanks for your thoughts and all the effort you put into these videos. It's great stuff to listen to in the background while at work.
