I just love what Peter brings out of Lottie in this. He's like a great director that brings out the best out of a good actor. Also what a way to start my morning.
Love the cleaness of the shots. Whiter than White but the blacks are very black whislst showing detail in the corsett. Love Lottie's new look. Well done crew.
Bravo to the lighting & model directing. Lovely work as always, Peter!✌🏻I enjoy hearing the sound of the Hassy H series shutter…I still shoot with my H6D-50c.📸Cheers from California😎
Hi Peter, Bec and Lottie , another great lesson. That last shot has a real Marilyn Monroe look and vibe to it. Something about the look of vulnerability in the eyes and expression. As you said Peter that contrast between the costume and the look is powerful. Something else I've learnt from you. Thanks to all three. Jake E.
I passed this on to 5 models I have worked with. They sometimes complain about how many shots I take. I hope they learn from what you are telling Lottie and what Lottie is doing.
❤What a terrific shoot..i ended up being so immersed in the shoot that i found myself doin the dolly poses also🤣😂....but dont tell anyone...i have an image to uphold🙄
great video. i think Lottie is my favorite model that you work with. ive looked at different hot lights but havent had enough call for them. you two work so well together
Many thanks for this new behind the scenes. @B: Please, never forget how important you are in these videos, you are like the foreword and epilogue to a book, and the hand that writes. @L: When you started moving (min 10) you moved to other orbit; you became a complete different Model; and you overshadowed: lighting, camera, lens,… And without the pants (11:42) you were amazing. BTW: I preferred the 1st pantyhose because the vertical mark (left) was fully aligned with the external silhouette of the thigh, moving in harmony with it. @P: Based on what I have seen here, it is important that properly configure the lighting as soon as possible, before the Model starts moving, because later it would become more difficult, because (as I said in my previous paragraph) the Model’s movements would bring all the attention.
Agreed & well put. As alluring as both pairs / styles of the Pantyhose used here are, the slight shine, sheer black pair- I like slightly more. Maybe because the 2nd pair can seem 'trying', where the 1st pair seem like it's their everyday want. And yes, the straight line.
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer saw it in my feed. I like it very much! By the way Bruno de Monès liked some of my pics from your workshop in Frankfurt, as well as a series I shot afterwards with Katinka Mur in Duisburg and commented on it.
Great one. I must say I adore hearing this Aussie at 13:34 mention "Pantyhose" (American invention) instead of the child-like (young americans saying) "tights". (And alluring choices too!) Thanks for sharing.
With your change to using constant light, doesn't ambient light now become a bigger issue? It seems to me that with strobe, you can overpower the ambient light and have absolute control. (Always love your videos, Peter!)
Thank you for the video! Great photos! Why does Peter very often turn the camera a little bit upwards during shooting from the stand? It looks a little bit like the rebound of a gun. Is this focus and recompose or just a habit?
Hey guys. I use continuous also but I always kill the ambient. I’m curious what effect the overhead ambient had in this case. It seems like it’s really bright but that might be the exposure settings on the video camera?
Great video Peter! How are you finding the Molus G200 in these short of scenarios, mixing it with ambient light in the studio or even trying to overpower it? Are you using the Max 300W mode much?

You may have already covered this. If so, apologies. What are your plans for your hasselblad? Their decision to abandon H camaras is concerning. Will you move to the X models?
Beautiful, she looks like Ian Van Dahl!❤ wonderful Peter! Very Fashiony. Cool 🆒. Congratulations to this girl on her weight loss, looks like she will need new , smaller pants now😊

I know nothing about fashion photography but from a lighting perspective why do you choose to leave the general studio lights on and in play? Thanks for the clip. Just found your channel and decided to sub. If you're a fan of historic race car you may want to reciprocate. cheers.
You're making your life really difficult because you have your skylights open and I assume your overhead lights on. You can see a strange shadow under the models main chin shadow. You might have better luck if you make your studio dark first then add in your constant lights. You'll like your shots a lot better.
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer They're a supportive undergarment, and there's huge gaps between her and it everywhere. That's often the pace I like to shoot while changing angles and letting the model work. This is a great example to show new models how a shoot flows.
Thanks heaps
Superb! Lottie really has the perfect face for this kind of thing. A pleasure to watch you guys work. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Agreed. She slays.
I cant wait for new videos, I love this and Lottis hair look fantastic

Some really really stunning shots of Lottie! Great Video again. Loved the lightning and Lotties outfit - matched her Energy perfect

Fascinating how much Peter's subtle direction for the model affects the resulting image.

Amazing work Peter. When I saw her legs I thought wow, she must play tennis.
Excellent work Peter.

So awkward yet the photos come out really cool in black and white. The dude explains things really well and makes it interesting.

Wow. That's a lot of shots, and a lot of those shots are very good. It's going to be a nightmare picking the best ones out of that.

Like the hand held shots. Reminds me of David Hemmings in Blow Up. Still one of my favorite movies.

What hard drives do u use? or SSD? How many terabytes do u use in one shoot? Do u keep all the photos or only the best and for how long?
SSD 2 and 4 TB
Cool. How does it transfer to the monitor or print accurately? What tweaks do u need to do? Or w BW it doesn’t matter ?
works fine straight out raw
what kind of constant light is that bouncing in the V-flats ?
