      I thought most of people like shorter videos. I try to make each video within 15 minutes. :).

    Thanks for the video, Kyle. I have beeb binge watching a lot of your previous videos over the last few days. I would really like to see you do a video when using "regular" people as subjects, instead of the models, since the women you normally photograph in your videos are already very attractive. Thanks in advance.

    Very good quality content! Thanks for sharing Kyle ! Could you share the 3rd party mounting mechanism you mentioned for this light ? Thanks

      The one used on the video is one. But I recommend you find an adapter that allows to tilt the light up and down.

    Northern Alberta here: we use a Stella Reflex Pro S for your recommended lighting conditions AND as a shadow fill in bright sunlight. It lacks colour temperature control however and is pegged at 5600K. We use the R5's internal colour temperature control to compensate. We feel a small powerful LED light is a viable WYSIWYG addition to our lighting kit and welcome further development of this technology as it more closely parallels the performance of our strobes.

    • @KyleCongphoto
      @KyleCongphoto  Рік тому

      I believe they can make the LED even brighter, but I'm afraid it'll be too bright for the eyes. WYSIWYG is a big advantage over strobe light.

      Thanks, I just go by the look. When it’s off it’s quite obvious. I think it’s very important that the video light can change colour temperature. After that it’s easier and straightforward.

    Very good video it inspires me and now i wanted to try it :-) I hav one question which lens do you use on the video it seems to me that it s a manual lens but what focal do you use 50mm or 85mm, and what aperture do you use the most in focus manual f/2.8 or more 1.8 ...? Thanks in advance for your response

    • @KyleCongphoto
      @KyleCongphoto  9 місяців тому +1

      I used zoom lens 24-70 F2.8. Mostly from 50mm and above. Aperture varies depends on the shooting distance.

      @@KyleCongphoto Thank you for answer me 🙂 I would like to ask you one more question What do you think about the NEEWER MS150B 130W COB Video Light? I was thinking on buying one for me for photography and video. Could you tell me if you have to choose from the zhiyung molus x100 and the NEEWER MS150B 130W COB Video Light which one do you buy and why? I am hesitating between the two .Thanks in advance for you response

    • @KyleCongphoto
      @KyleCongphoto  8 місяців тому +1

      I never used the neewer light before. But in terms of functioning, they should be pretty close. I suggest you focus on easy of use. This is something many photographers overlooked. You will only use it more often if it’s. easy to adjust, easy to setup and easy to carry around. Small and light weight is always on the top of my list. This applies to any gear I use. Lighting, camera and lenses.

      @@KyleCongphoto Thank you so much for your answer, and you are right, when we are on a shoot the gear must be lightweight functional and simple to use indeed I will continue to compare the two and make my move.

    Zhiyun Molus X100 power enough for outdoor shoot? given the sun is at the back of your subject?

    • @KyleCongphoto
      @KyleCongphoto  11 місяців тому

      I don't think so. I was shoot on a cloudy day. The power was set at 40% but even 100% won't be enough to match sun.

    I was using this light in a pro shooting and the fully battery suddenly stoped working ,with no apparent reason at all , ( shame for Molus ) , finally I could go on using tha suply cables , without battery, but it was a very inconvenient situation , in front of the people that paid for the shooting. So I'm not so sure about reliablility of the batery any more.
