My favorite part about your videos is that I keep imagining that you’re in the movie “I am Legend” where he’s the only human left in his city 😅 Love these videos!
BIG fan of the Boston 8, spent more time in the 9 (which was the same as the later 8s). I miss them, quite a bit. Nice to see them here. Also, I love your chaotic editing and your thumbnails are perfection. Keep it up. I'm a fan. 🤙🏻
Hey Buddy, great to have you on this little channel! Yeah, we're polar opposites in terms of style haha. I obviously don't take nearly the analytical approach to shoes as you do. I guess, you sometimes need a bit of both in your life. Enjoyed your Pro 4 videos. Supposedly there's another Drop coming here on Christmas and I'll try to get hold of one.
I do also have a pair I found second hand online, and I really like them, they still have some pop, I last used them on a 17km HM workout and they felt awesome, really stable, good grip, and the minimal stack isn't as much an issue as I'm pretty small 🤗 I'd say the other thing to note on these old second hand shoes is that they can be dead from overuse, I picked up a second hand pair of Asics GT 2000s 10, which were a complete brick, but a new pair are pretty plush.
Great to hear. Yeah, this shoe holds a nostalgic place in my heart for me and felt instantly familiar when I tried it after over 4 years. Also agree that the lower stack works better for lighter weight, smaller Runners like us.
I love the flexibility and fit of the Boston 8 and Adios 4. I still run in my pairs every now and then to mix things up. I agree there are better shoes out there now but I have a soft spot for these old timers. I enjoyed watching your vlog. It's cold where you are. 🥶It's warm here in Sydney, Australia. 🦘
Had the Adios 5 as well. Even back in the day, that was a bit too minimal for me. Felt every twig underfoot! Right now it's not quite as cold anymore. Just raining and windy. Good to have you here and Greetings all the way to Australia.
I’m still a fan of Old Bostons (mainly the 6th but the 8th was pretty good too). IMO Adios 8 keep some of this style with updates materials. I’m wearing A8 as my daily trainer this days, looking for the low stack of the old days
Never tried the Adios 8 but I'm curious about the 9... Yeah, I always feel like there is some benefit to training in lower stack heights. But like with this one, I feel like you almost have ti learn how to use them again. Definitely something to get used to.
@robin29991 I've yet to see a single soul but i believe ya. It's giving zombie vibes is you ask me but this could boost your sub stays snd I'm here for it. I could care less about the shoe being discussed but was waiting on zombies to run after you if I'm honest. Keep up the good work mate.

I am loyal to my Boston 8s. My love has not died. 🥰 Merry Xmas and best wishes during the festive season.
Yeah, to be fair, it's still a great shoe, even today. Just feels a bit unspectacular now. Merry Christmas to you too!

Mate you seem to be running in the middle of nowhere. Great vid!
Thanks for watching as always!! I assure you, this is a city with a population of 100k 😂
