I just love the way lestat says "More"
Me too😁
I thought that was corny
@@ChiralityPracticality same
I'm pretty sure it was in the book though, weird since they changed so much they SHOULDN'T have from the book
Me too I say it like he does every time I want more weed or something like that lol
I did enjoy this movie, the actor that played Lestat at was more convincing than Tom Cruise, but they just got too much wrong, mostly because they tried to combine 2 novels that were both pretty long, but Magnus "created" Lestat and died right after telling Lestat to burn his body and spread the ashes around the world so that he couldn't come back.
TY!!!!!!
u rly tryna tell me he played lestat better than tom cruise? lol
No he didn’t…he’s too overtly seductive…it’s not even a masculine seductive…he’s very feline…like a female.
Is a joke? all these performances in this movie were horrible
@@sharkkeeper01 and thats wrong because....? Lestat was seductive and feline in the novels.
he's all on top of him... lol, the symbolism is strong in this one. :P
Ohh well. 😂
Lestat asks, "where are my pants?"
Haha
When he says "More" all I can think of is Britney Spears song "Gimme More" lol
Britney Lestat. XD
yes and it was gay
This movie is still better than the recent vampire movies that I have seen and that is saying a lot in my opinion.
Even though people hate this movie because it was not as good as the other Anne Rice vampire movie; I still very much like it and is happy to watch it over, and over.
Lestat was made by Magnus, not Marius.
Anne Rice asked that they didn't make this movie but they still made it :[
Thank you! This movie makes me so mad lol
Yes. And Magnus was a worthless piece of junk who didn't teach him anything. Marius in this movie at least tries to teach him something...
That's the book I've read the books and I still love the movie
But Marius made love with him
I'm confused. I thought this movie was well loved and well received. I thought people liked this movie?
I'm fully aware that its not at all like the books. My mom introduced me to this movie when I was a kid. I grew up learning all the differences in the books from this movie. But it's a good movie. It's not a faithful recreation but it's still a good movie with a really good soundtrack. I am just shocked to find that on every single video clip of this movie everyone is whining about the differences and how Tom was better. I just honestly thought this movie was really loved! I mean the soundtrack is everywhere, there are SO many clips and fan videos on this movie. I guess everyone hates it even though everyone keeps watching it.
Love this movie. Aware of the changes and I understand them. What they did was capture the tone of the books. Magnus not turning lestat makes sense. It would confuse non fans of the books, he played no role in lestats development, marius did. In my opinion this is the best vampire movie made.
this movie was always a joke
My favorite movie ever and Stuart Townsend is amazing actor...soo good.
There’s just no comparison to the novel this was supposed to be based off of. This adaptation was disappointing.
This movie has always been considered is a pile of crap since the day it came out lol what are you on about?
Being a vampire really bites. 🧛♂️⚰🤭☠
Ba-dum tshhhhh!.
😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
This movie took way too many creative liberties with the plot. I do like the relationship between Marius and Lestat here. But in the novel, his vampiric turner doesn't mentor him at all, and even kills himself after turning Lestat. Guess I'm just left wondering how Anne Rice allowed so many changes.
Lestat (Cruise) told Louis in Interview with the Vampire that his maker "didn't teach him anything"... So even among the movies there seems to be a lack of continuity. Unless he meant it figuratively, as in someone with whom he had a bad relationship (and not necessarily absent).
@@humbertojimmy That's actually accurate. He says that line in Interview, and when you read The Vampire Lestat novel you see that fact come to pass. Not only did this movie change the storyline around, but it also splices The Vampire Lestat and Queen of The Damned together. It's a mess.
@@SOB98 it really is. Before I read the books I loved the movie but not so much after. Also even how they kill Akasha is different
In the Novel his Name is Magnus the one who created lastat and killed himself.
@@SOB98 : In my opinion, Queen Of The Damned never even tried to be connected to Intervew with a vampire ... It's like they had adapted two differents novels of a same univers, and with differents actors. XD
3:55 lmao
Moare
When your mom hides the jar of christmas cookies
I think the scenes with Marius are very cool
The thing that bothers most about the movie Marius (even more than the fact that he didn't make Lestat) is the fact that though he lived in the time of the Roman empire he didn't clip his hair short like was in fashion then and what did they do besides destroy one of my favorite vampire chronicles characters? Cut his hair short... Yea, I'm not sure why that of all things is what pisses me off most.
Well short hair was fashion for Roman Empire. Roman men would carefully clip their hair and facial hair but in the books Marius was captured by Gael people who did not cut their hair short and they even left him for months till his hair grew properly. But it is not just the length that is wrong in this movie actually (well...actually the whole movie went wrong when it comes to adaptations of the book). Marius was supposed to be tall with almost platinum blonde hair and blue eyes... Well...we only need to say they didn't get Marius at all.
(And of course that would be okay if they had pictured his role properly since neither Banderas looked anything like Armand in the books but he did a great job working his personality)
Marius the best character ever in a vamp novel and movie.......
Could've been even better if they'd actually paid attention to the books and seperated them instead of trying to smash it all together
Khayman says hi
I know! Hes so dark and sexy, really underrated in this movie.
Thinking of the scene in interview with the vampire a movie much older, and still the transformation sceene from Louie is so much better
Wroooooong! He was made by Magnus in Paris! Urghh the books are so much better
that moment it sounds more like a porno
gay porn
I thought that too, like they are gays who right now have orgasms
@@boo5485 Well it is the only one thing they got right in that movie. In the book Lestat speaks of the unworldly pleasure he felt when Magnus (not Marius) bit ino him and despite the fact he was strongly resisting it, when Magnus withdrew he whispered "Please don't stop".
In Anne Rice's books the act of feeding is a very intimate act that gives the drinker (and sometimes the victim) unspeakable pleasure.
@@katerinaaqu It's perverted as hell!;O
@@malgorzataj6356 Well it was supposed to be a homoerotic novel so yeah I suppose you can call it "perverted". It was quite an intense scene in the book for Lestat said that he felt as though "his whole body turned to pleasure"
In the book it was Magnus who create Lestat. Not Marius.
When Marius let him fall, he did the stance that was in the movie Nosferatu
the vampire chronicles had so much potential for great movies, but Hollywood bastardized the stories and tried to Frankenstein them together, and by using the names of the books, they've closed the door on the possibility of making the films correctly.
...and it certainly wouldn't be the first or last time that has happened.
Yeah I don't think Anne had any say in this movie though if I remember correctly... they fudged a lot of the vampires up in this.
I JUST FOUND OUT THERES A MUSICAL WRITTEN FOR LESTAT!
Yes and the musical is 100x more accurate to the books
Yeah, the music slaps
That scene scared me when I was a kid
I like this version best. Marius is a great character. Great actor.
Good Guy Oh My! I feckin love this movie 🍿
I don't like how this departs from the books. Also, what's up with the actor not having proper blond hair? He should have at least dyed his hair so that it was in keeping with the golden-haired character that Lestat is, and as he consistently describes himself as in the books. Marius is also supposed to have long, whitish blond hair. This entire movie is a departure in so many ways from the books. I don't know how anybody can stand to watch it, even if there is some decent acting.
Just to know story of Lestat as TC acting in IWTV creates lots of interest to know more about Lestat
I honestly don't understand why people prefer the other versions of Lestat to this one.
This one isn't shown transforming anyone against their will. This one isn't a drunk rapist. This one isn't a pedo in any way. This one isn't a sick, possessive, harassing, abusive to kids, little shit.
"But ACCURACY TO THE BOOKS!!!" It's an adaptation it doesn't need to be book-accurate.
Lestat: Thank you, subscribe for moooore.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When i was kid this scene make me so afraid i watch this movie 2002 it was for me the best vampire movie also another interview with vampire
💖 This Movie
I am dying for a film adaptation of “The Vampire Lestat” with Tom Cruise reprising is role as the title character. Mads Mikkelsen is my top choice to play Marius.
There is a anthor. Movie with the same name as the guys.
what outro song is this?
If he was a vampire you would not be able to see him
Bem que poderiam postar o filme completo.
I like the vampire painting on the wall how do I find that painting or what it called
It always bothered me they didnt keep lestats actual origin in the movies. I get it helps the viewer get a better sense of marius, but they could've done that with Rices intended origin.
I only looked this up to see the bit where he says 'Moore'.
more!!!
Is this the second part of interview with the vampire
I forgot that ashe from crow city of angels was Marius
💜 🦁
lestat wasnt really wealthy man lmao
Oh
2:54 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sam Weitwer or something!
The movie was shit but damn Marius was great!
4:00 name of the song?
Before I’m dead Kidney thieves
Mooarrrr
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
how old is Marius?
hes 2000 :)
His physical age is around 40 years old. His actual age is 2000+ years old
is this the same lestat from interview with the vampire?
GettingPwnedWithStyle no not at all haha
This actor is Stuart Townsend, and the other is Tom Cruise
thanks XD
but is it still the same universe?
Yes. Sadly, Cruise's interpretatio was so amazing that I doubt someone can acheive the same.
Tom Cruse as Lestat was better in my opinion.
Go back to TOM CRUISE, now that's a REAL Lestat and vampire
Okay but Tom portrayed Lestat as this psychotic blood hungry maniac who killed as often as he wanted and as much as he wanted. There was no remorse or restraint or even a hint of sadness about anything. I never got the vibe from Lestat in the books that he just was a completely off the rails killer. I don't like Tom's portrayal just for that fact. Lestat has depth and sadness and genuine heartache over his existence. Tom's Lestat was just constantly fiending for blood and violence. It may have been more book accurate as far as looks go but I don't think that Lestat is more accurate.
moore
This is not in the book. Hardly any of this movie is
I love this movie my name is Jay fleming I want to be a vampire to
Jay Fleming I want to be a vampire too
I want to be a Space Marine
Jay Fleming
No you don't want to be one
You would not be happy
not so perfect girl sigh
Sunlight is not a issue
Evey I want to be a vampire to always be young and beautiful
Is Marius Jesse vampire grandfather?
No, Marius had nothing to do with Jesse. Marius was a Roman citizen turned into a vampire thousands of years ago. Jesse's line and family was supposed to go all the way back to Maharet and Mekare, the red-haired twins that were the third turned vampires in the world after Enkil and then Khayman. So...no in terms of family tree he had nothing to do with her, unless of course we say that...all vampires are somehow relatives since they come from the same source (aka Akasha)
uhhhhh
woooooooooooooooooooow
mmmmmmm yeahhhhhhh
So harry potter was a de-aged vampire, that is why he survived the killing curse. Power he knows not.
Lol
Is that vampire the same actor who portrayed Starkiller and voiced Darth Maul?
This will always be my favorite vampire movie. And Stuart Townsend will always be my Lestat. :)
Sexy as hell...dayum this man is soo beautiful, sensual and dreamy.
I hated this Lestat tbh
He is literal sexy badass. I totally loved him.
What is lestat true name
What is ashaka truen name
Who is lestat?
What the hell
Indeed
Chafa. Pero bien por su esfuerzo.
Tom cruise was a much better lestat
por favor esta transformación es una oír quería, la película es una porquería la mejor es entrevista esta no.
no me gusta para nada esta película de La rey na de los condenados
This film was dog doo doo ... was absolutely NOTHING like the book
Last time I checked Lestat isn't Romanian. This movie was so damn wrong
Where does it say that he is romanian? His name is Lestat de Lioncourt. That's a french name...
Well...the entire movie is wrong actually. They do not follow the books, hardly at all they used some of the elements from the book. Lestat was a french aristocrat, living the years before French Revolution, youngest of his family, ran away with his friend and lover Nicolas to become an actor.
And those were important details to understand his psychosynthesis but generally this movie simply wasn't based on the books but on something entirely theirs
2018= I’m eighteen I was born in 2000 so I’m eighteen and I’m a real life vampire and I drink human blood but I’m a beginner vampire so I don’t really know about vampires but sense I’m a beginner vampire can somebody help me understand what I’m supposed to do thanks🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤❤️❤️❤️❤️✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻😄😁😆🙊🙈🙉🙊🙈🙉🧛🏻♀️🧛🏻♀️🧛🏻♀️🧛🏻♀️🧛🏻♀️🧛🏻♀️🧛🏻♀️🧛🏻♀️🧛🏻♀️
Jade Bourget Wow... I dont know what to do with that information :o
You should definetly read the books or check into a mental hospital
Jade Bourget drink holy water, eat garlic bread, get a sun tan.
This movie is a bloody pain in the neck. It sucks and bites all at the same time. I bet Hollywood has gone batty trying to make fang-tastic vampire movies. But they've been bled dry. Not trying to wing it here, but these vampire movies are not something I want to sink my teeth in.
