Sorry man, with the S2400 I usually work so quickly and also rarely rename any samples for a reference.Sometimes I'll remember, or just know the record well enough to know its title - unfortunately I can't remember this one.

Would you say, there’s more of an attachment to this instrument vs the MPC when first acquired them .?
Not sure about 'attachment' as such but it definitely is more magical/soulful' than MPC. My MPC is more of an everyday tool / workhorse whereas the S2400 is more of a connoisseurs machine. That's not to say I don't love my MPCX, if I get an idea that I need to get out quickly I know the X will allow me to do exactly what I want. The 2400 gets used when I just want that gritty simplicity (ooh I made a rhyme!).

Yes, you can bounce individual samples and patterns to audio and assign them to pads. It’s super easy.

Nice beats! And a quick question.. I have that Fostex mixer you've got there. It was given to me for free, but I can't get any sound out of it. Are they good mixers? And do you think it would be worth getting repaired if I could find someone who could fix it?

I sold my 2400 ..whilst it sounded great …I found it hard work over my MPC X..which for me is superior in every way … I can get my X sounding as fat as I need … nice beets these though 🤙🏼👌🏽
i use both, but i cant duplicate the sound of my S2400 on the X. the isla just sounds so much better to me.
I can hear more detail in the Isla versus the MPC.. and more warmth as well.. however, the MPC has its own great sound..
There’s something special about the Isla .. it feels more like an instrument in my opinion.
