I love my twist tech! I really like the mount he's using, it would free up the wire interference I have when making my spreaders. Are these available somewhere? If not, my wheels are already spinning on making something similar. Thanks!

Those mounts are indeed available. It is called a 'rod-holder mount' and works in conjunction with a Fish-On rod holder bracket. It will also work some of the others but fits best in the Fish-On brand. I recommend mounting one bracket on your workbench and another in your boat in a location where you can easilky reach it.

how do you get a trailer hook on this set up?

There are a couple of ways to do that. First, you can 'hard wire' it in. It's a little tricky but it works like this: When you make the cross-over bend for the hook end leave the tag-end of the wire wrap a few inches longer than you would for a regular looped end. Install the main hook, make 2 wraps, bend the excess tag-end straight down along the hook shank. Position the hook tubing over the hook eye and bent-down tag-end. Complete your spinner construction and then make a cross-over bend in that excess tag-end. Finally, install your trailer hook into that cross-over and wrap just as you would for the main hook.
A second, and easier way to install a trailer hook is to simply tie a length of 65 to 80 Lb test braided line into the loop in the wire at the kook end, slide your tubing over the hook eye and braided line, then tie your trailer hook to the end of the braid.
      Hope that helps.

Where can I get a twistech? I’ve been looking everywhere online and apparently they’re either sold out or back ordered.
