What I do is trim off my excess wire before performing the wrapping leg on my final loop. Or you could also start with a shorter wire to begin with. But it's easier for me to have longer wires on hand, so that I can make spinners with longer or shorter bodies, and just trim them off as needed. If you trim your wire beforehand like this, you can then just wrap until the tag is used up. This gives you a cleaner finish and there's no chance of having a sharp pointy end of your wire on your spinner sticking out to snag on things or yourself. It's really simple. Just figure out how much wire you need for your two wraps and trim it to that length every time before doing the final wrapping leg.
