@@existsome i like to figure things out note by note. after playing for a while, you get a feel of around where some notes are or sometimes even being able to sound out chords note by note in your head. other than that, honestly just move your fingers along the fretboard to find the note for the song youre trying to learn, mess around and you might not learn it right the first time but eventually youll figure it out
@@existsome and for different tunings its good to look at live sets of bands for the songs you wanna learn. in my case i do a lot of catalyst covers and i hear how their tuning sounds or i sometimes even see around where his fingers are to know what to play
