I played for years on an old CRT TV. I remember seeing screens of clothing texter mods for Oblivion on PC and wishing we could have that. When I got an HDTV years later, I hooked up the 360 and Oblivion to see how it looks. and omg there were cool designs and stuff in the base game robes and clothes that I never saw. :SurprisedPicachu:
I still have these nights! I’m 12, my dad bought the Xbox 360 Slim when i was like 2, and i still have my friends go over and play Halo 3 while eating Doritos.

I said I didn’t use it anymore but like now I would’ve used it. It was mostly because we had an xbox 1 which broke and I could still have our Xbox 360. In my room and stuff
I had some of the best moments in my childhood playing the Xbox 360. My first game ever played on the first 360 was GTA Vice City. My favorite games out of all of the games I played was Borderlands 2, Halo 4, Black Ops 2, Fable 2, Forza Horizon, Spider-Man 3 and GTA 5. The list can keep going because almost every game that came out was good. It was and may always be the best time for video gaming history. Another thing I liked about it is that The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 was a game on the Xbox 360. I thought it was a miracle and that they would keep making Spider-Man games for Xbox but the new ones are all one PlayStation. I got to play both new Spider-Man games and beet them both so I not completely disappointed. My step dad bought the PlayStation 4 from me because I needed the money. Hopefully one day I'll be able to buy the new PlayStation 5 but we all know how expensive that is and how many problems the console gets over time. My Xbox 360 and my dad's Xbox 360 still works and he had his since it came out. Mine is the black slim version and still works great.
@@Baz09 I have had the Xbox Series X. Sold it and got the PS5. The PS5 is boring compared to the Xbox. I plan on having both anyways only because PS5 has a few great games that are not on Xbox. That and all those years of gaming that I've done is on the Xbox.

I've had my PS2 slim since 2005 and it still goes strong 😁 I also got a backwards compatible PS3 from 2007 still running great, and I got an Xbox 360 E. I plan to try and make them all last forever no matter how old they get

You're forgetting the third version of the 360 that was released between the original and the elite version. The one that came with the falcon chip and HDMI. Was significantly quieter
BD is 25-50, HD-DVD is 15-30. Actually the 4K blurays are typically at least 66GB now, and even more when 8k becomes mainstream. I believe VVC would be absolutely necessary to reach the triple layer 100GB limit on our Ultra HD blurays. Typical 1080p blurays are 20-30GB, 4K between 40-60GB, 8K (if industries are willing to go this route) 70-90GB. I think 8K would be the end of Bluray at that point.
Actually after recent testing it’s been discovered the issue with most rrod systems is not the solderballs losing connection with the mother board but the gpu’s underfill fails and the die loses connection with the substrate
That because the die on the chip experienced the heating and cooling. The temporary fix is the x clamp bolts and washers it might last 1 week to a year if you are lucky but the permanent fix it to heat the die to the point where it reconnects to the substrate. This problem with the underfill may be the real reason why gluing the die to the substrate is pretty stupid idea in the first place
my 360 keeps saying it needs an xbox live update, but when I try to update it it's never able to complete the update. I've done a lot of troubleshooting and the only thing I can think of is it needs an external drive for the data
My father bought an Xbox 360 about 10 years ago, had some of the best memories as a kid. It was pretty sad when the red ring of death came on about 3 years ago, and it was a slim version as well. The cooling fan had somehow figured out how to kill itself, litteraly tearing itself apart and causing the cooling system to fail (you can't hear the fan at all). Currently, I am working on restoring it and am praying that there is no damage to the motherboard (if there is I am screwed)
what you can do it if its an xbox that you can take the hard drive out, you can buy either a fresh new xbox 360 or a used 360, then you can take the new hard drive out if there is one, then you put that old one in and boom you have better graphics and the sames things that were on it before
My mom found my 360 and when I took a look at it, it looked dirty and dusty. So I clean it and it looks brand new. Almost brand new. It’s fun to revisit the games that I use to play.😇
I bought the Xbox 360 so i could play Fight night round 4. It was not available as compatible with the Xbox One x System at the time. Loved every bit of playing. Also have a large collection of HD DVD movies and the player ,so there you have it. 😊

RROD ending with the smaller Jasper chipset from the production date of November, 2008. Both consoles scaled up to 1080p, but very little was in native 1080p on both 360 or PS3 besides the PS3's main desktop. Also, the extra scaling chip permitted the Xbox 360 to scale to literally any TV or computer monitor via analogue or digital with later models, while PS3 only supported 480i, 1080i, 480p, 720p and 1080p. The PS3's big selling carrot that kept it selling was the BluRay capability, for it is one of the best quality BluRay players on the market and was the cheapest BluRay player at launch. Also, Netflix and free to play games on an Xbox required Gold to play until literally 2 years ago, while nothing extra was required on both the PS3 and PS4. Very few games on both consoles actually ran at native 720p and most cross platform titles ran better on the Xbox 360. Good video.

Got my first Xbox 360 free from a buddy in 2011. I brought an elite xbox 360 with a 250 GB hard drive in the summer of 2013 . My elite is still going strong 💪! I love this console so much! I still play! So many great games on my hard drive from Xbox live gold and amazing sales microsoft offered! How do you feel about your Xbox 360?
As for the 360 controller being the best I 100% agree. I have 3 still, a reciever for my desktop, and rechargeable battery packs. I use them on literally every emulator I run as well as any modern games that I play that I don't use mouse and keyboard for. Playing PlayStation 1&2, gamecube and wii u games all with the 360 controller makes them such a better experience. Big reason for that is the offset joy sticks and that they're dimpled and not domed. Oh and actual 'triggers'. I'm also lucky and still have an Energizer AA/AAA fast charger that charges in 15 min. As soon as one set dies they can be full again hella fast.
Glad I got mine in 2017 Factory sealed w forza 4 for $80 on CL. The controller is the best due to 2 batteries swapped out every few months, Sony PS3 and 4 controllers are a pain to change the battery. Currently playing Far Cry 4 and R6 Vegas 2 😎
I love the Xbox 360 controllers and batteries but I'm gonna have to disagree with the ps4 and ps3 controllers! The ps3 controller lasts a whopping week once mines lasted a month! however the Ps4 may not last longer but at least in lasts days 🙂

I remember having an external fan that clipped to the back of my “launch” 360, I believe it made it last years longer after my friends’ consoles got the rrod. Now I’m rocking the slim model!
The blades menu system was the best design to this day. People would play music while playing games. Most people don't even know it's possible on the Xbox one. But it is an annoying and painful process to get it to work.
I picked up a 360 in 2020 during the lockdown, boredom was real and so I dived into some old consoles, got a slim 360 with a bunch of games and a PS3 that I modded. I had sold them within about 3 months. The nostalgia is short lived and I greatly prefer gaming on my PC. Emulation helps.
Why I need it?.. Still have mine to this day m8 ;) And won't ever get rid of it. And neither my PS1... PS2 .. PS3.. PS4... NES... SNES... N64 GC.. Wii... Wiiu...(yeah I'm quite the collector)
I bought the 250gb unit (post ring of death) and though the weak disc drive had only to identify the cd, as I played all games from the hard drive, Eventually l still had to rebuild the disc player. It's still rolling.
I have my xbox 360 wireless controller on my pc for five years now. I only had to change the conductive rubber on the dpad and get third party rubber for the analog sticks. It's still working like when I bought it new, I play LOTS of fighting games and souls games with it. This controller is immortal.

I think there's less reason to own a 360 than there is to own a PS3. Merely because of Microsoft's own phenomenal efforts with backwards compatibility. Many 360 games actually play significantly better on current consoles. Sony hasn't really given a good option to play PS3 games on newer hardware outside of remasters.
If your happy with the lists of backwards compatibly, my main issue with the new Xbox one and series x is the lack of good titles, the Xbox 360 had it all good backwards completely good new titles, and the controllers even today feel so much more fit for your hands compared to the series x and Xbox one, shame with the ring of death but it sums up most of Microsoft under development, the new halo is another perfect example of this
It could be the laser needs cleaning or replaced… I got two the slim and the elite and got issues with the elite I can by pass the red ring sometimes and the slim takes a while from dashboard to read the discs but I’m glad I got them for sure
The XBox 360 RROD is not from solder melting from heat. It is scientifically not possible. The chips shut themselves down, by design, at a temperature that is unsafe for the chip (~100C would be crazily hot), but well below the melting point of solder (~180C for leaded solder, and much higher for lead-free solder). The culprit was simply bad chip design. Unlike with the slim model, Microsoft insisted on developing the chips for the original 360s themselves, rather than relying on (or at least getting help from) an ASIC vendor. They changed that with the slim, which was also when their RROD issues mostly eliminated.
Actually the most reliable xbox 360 is the FAT one, jasper motherboard, they just don't red ring, but slims and E-models have more and more cases in the recent years of Red dot of death.
You can play most of the games on the Xbox one and Xbox series X|S that was released on Xbox 360 so there’s no need to really buy it or use it. you also get fps boost and better quality for games released on 360 that you play on Xbox Series X|S. Due to Microsoft’s convenient backwards compatibility, you don’t need to really worry about what games you have the ability to play like Sony’s platforms they’ve released, that’s the one thing I’ve always acknowledged and adored in regards to the consoles Microsoft has been putting out, you’re able to play a majority of the gems that was released on older gens with no problem.
Eah current gen and last gen is garbage , i can count a decade off good games on one hand. Xbox 360 on the other hand has literally all good games compared to current and last gen. Still a whole other year to get something half decent.
Id rather have my modded 360 with 400+ games on its hard drive than a new Xbox to play 360 games on 😂😂 a modded system is always better than a basic unmodded system.
Just a correction, HD-DVDs store 15gb on single layer disc, single layer bd can store 25gb. Dual layer would be 30gb and 50gb. BD still has more storage, but just wanted to mention that. All in all, good video, enjoyed it. Good job! Also, I bought both consoles back in the day. If you still hold onto fanboyism, then your only limiting yourself on some great games

Haven't had one in years. I love the console, but my experiences with the Xbox 360 have always been disastrous. Problems with getting games to run right especially when it tells me "open tray" or "unrecognized disc" even if the games were newish. I had my first 360 I believe over heat on me when I was really little and it stopped working completely or something like that. I had games break because I bumped into the console or someone else would (this happened with Minecraft, Borderlands, mw3, ultimate alliance, etc). Strangely enough, I don't remember getting the red ring of death much but I swear I remember seeing it in person before at some point. Of course the awful battery situation was awful. I could barely play online because of the whole wireless adapter thing. It was strange, however I realized I usually always had the original 360. I'm older now and I made sure to order the slim, get a charger station, and get working games. Hopefully this will be a great experience this time around, I can't wait to receive my 360.
@clocks1 Yes the fat ones were what I always owned and they always had problems at some point. I swear there was not a single fat 360 I had that didn't have any issues. It was bound to have something wrong with it eventually everytime.
I can only imagine how hyped the kids were to have such an amazing console only to go to turn it on and get red ringed instantly ✋😭 Mine got the death ring once and I literally shut it off instantly and took off the pillow I left on it (don’t ask) waited a day and it works just fine to this day that happened in 2018 :p
I know that many consoles can be emulated by many ways on a pc, but i think that the best way to play "old" games is on the original consoles, i mean, you can play on your pc maybe at a higher resolution, but the original essence is on the original console. That is why nintendo is selling mini consoles. There are many ways to play our old consoles decently, ps1(tv crt whith s- video, is preety good), ps2, xbox and gamecube (component cable), xbox 360 and ps3 whith lcd tv 720p or 1080p (hdmi). To be fair, the mini consoles released these days are all emulation based, exactly what runs the games on PC. Maybe its having the original style controller in your hand which sells it to you more?
I've been playing games since I was 3 years old and I am 40 now. The Xbox 360 is still my favorite console of all time. I have the consoles and games from the NES up to last generation (XB1.) Including Nintendo, Sega, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. The 360 has more games that I enjoy than any other consoles. I really like the controller too. :)
I used PS3 for 8years and I never have any problem but I was changing thermal paste 4 or 5 times my friend did same with Xbox 360 and everything was working fine.
I have quite a few Xbox’s. Mine and my 3 kids all have one. In total I have 3 OGXbox’s, 7 360’s, 2 XBONE, 2 XB1S and a XB1X. I’ve had to repair many of the 360’s and my Day One XBONE. If you know how to repair a 360, I say go for it. But, they will fail or overheat often. I’ll tell ya, I’ve never had to fix a PlayStation.
Even though the exclusive library for Xbox isn’t huge the exclusives are great especially Gears of War. Although I’m a 100% Sony fanboy now I would say if you haven’t owned a 360 do so because you won’t be disappointed, unless you buy a first gen 360 that will red ring you like 3 of them did you me. I miss playing the old DOA beach Volleyball and the other beach volleyball games of that era. That generation really broke the mold with how many games were available at the time and the quality of the games. My favorite RE game RE5 played silky smooth on 360 and looked fantastic.

I'm old so I've got to watch the birth of home gaming from Atari 2600 till what we have today. Hands down the golden age of gaming was 2007-2010. I still have friends from then I met online. Competitive gaming died with CoD2 and Halo 3. I miss being able to get online and putting on my headset and hearing voices. Party chat ruined that. Online gaming solo just feels like a ghost town now. CoD2 and 4, GoW, Test Drive Unlimited and Halo 3 will always have a spot in my heart.
I still have it and i play Armored Core 5 and VD on it. MY son's play minecraft on this beautiful machine. Best console i ever have (mostly because nostalgia ;))

They actually announced the Halo games will be "sunsetting" (their words) the Xbox360 online modes soon. So Halo online will be gone within a year. Most people will be playing MCC anyway

Got my Xbox 360 back in like 2007 and still works today god I love this system
my 360 keeps saying it needs an xbox live update, but when I try to update it it's never able to complete the update. I've done a lot of troubleshooting and the only thing I can think of is it needs an external drive for the data

My father bought an Xbox 360 about 10 years ago, had some of the best memories as a kid. It was pretty sad when the red ring of death came on about 3 years ago, and it was a slim version as well. The cooling fan had somehow figured out how to kill itself, litteraly tearing itself apart and causing the cooling system to fail (you can't hear the fan at all). Currently, I am working on restoring it and am praying that there is no damage to the motherboard (if there is I am screwed)
Just buy another one. I picked one up for 75 bucks and I keep the vents clean by using a brush head attachment on a car vac.
what you can do it if its an xbox that you can take the hard drive out, you can buy either a fresh new xbox 360 or a used 360, then you can take the new hard drive out if there is one, then you put that old one in and boom you have better graphics and the sames things that were on it before

I love Ninja Gaiden 2, and because of that game, along with Halo 3 and Forza 4, it is one of my favourite consoles, second only to the SEGA Saturn.
My mom found my 360 and when I took a look at it, it looked dirty and dusty. So I clean it and it looks brand new. Almost brand new. It’s fun to revisit the games that I use to play.😇

This console by far is one of my favorites. Both Xbox 360 and PS3 are my two main consoles, even to this day
I bought the Xbox 360 so i could play Fight night round 4. It was not available as compatible with the Xbox One x System at the time. Loved every bit of playing. Also have a large collection of HD DVD movies and the player ,so there you have it. 😊

RROD ending with the smaller Jasper chipset from the production date of November, 2008. Both consoles scaled up to 1080p, but very little was in native 1080p on both 360 or PS3 besides the PS3's main desktop. Also, the extra scaling chip permitted the Xbox 360 to scale to literally any TV or computer monitor via analogue or digital with later models, while PS3 only supported 480i, 1080i, 480p, 720p and 1080p. The PS3's big selling carrot that kept it selling was the BluRay capability, for it is one of the best quality BluRay players on the market and was the cheapest BluRay player at launch. Also, Netflix and free to play games on an Xbox required Gold to play until literally 2 years ago, while nothing extra was required on both the PS3 and PS4. Very few games on both consoles actually ran at native 720p and most cross platform titles ran better on the Xbox 360. Good video.

@@hanyang508 If he keeps the room that its in very clean, like I do, dust and pet hair and whatever else will barely get into it. If he cleans everywhere else, he probably doesn’t need to for a number of years, given he’s cleaned it out before.

Got my first Xbox 360 free from a buddy in 2011. I brought an elite xbox 360 with a 250 GB hard drive in the summer of 2013 .
My elite is still going strong 💪! I love this console so much! I still play! So many great games on my hard drive from Xbox live gold and amazing sales microsoft offered!

As for the 360 controller being the best I 100% agree. I have 3 still, a reciever for my desktop, and rechargeable battery packs. I use them on literally every emulator I run as well as any modern games that I play that I don't use mouse and keyboard for. Playing PlayStation 1&2, gamecube and wii u games all with the 360 controller makes them such a better experience. Big reason for that is the offset joy sticks and that they're dimpled and not domed. Oh and actual 'triggers'. I'm also lucky and still have an Energizer AA/AAA fast charger that charges in 15 min. As soon as one set dies they can be full again hella fast.
Glad I got mine in 2017 Factory sealed w forza 4 for $80 on CL. The controller is the best due to 2 batteries swapped out every few months, Sony PS3 and 4 controllers are a pain to change the battery. Currently playing Far Cry 4 and R6 Vegas 2 😎
I love the Xbox 360 controllers and batteries but I'm gonna have to disagree with the ps4 and ps3 controllers! The ps3 controller lasts a whopping week
once mines lasted a month!

The blades menu system was the best design to this day. People would play music while playing games. Most people don't even know it's possible on the Xbox one. But it is an annoying and painful process to get it to work.
I remember on Project Gotham Racing 3, your MP3s being played would appear as its own selectable radio station, that was pretty damn cool.
I picked up a 360 in 2020 during the lockdown, boredom was real and so I dived into some old consoles, got a slim 360 with a bunch of games and a PS3 that I modded. I had sold them within about 3 months. The nostalgia is short lived and I greatly prefer gaming on my PC. Emulation helps.

The Xbox 360 used dual layer DVD9 format and not HD DVD for games. HD DVD was only for the movies on the add-on accessory. Hopefully you just mispoke.

I bought the 250gb unit (post ring of death) and though the weak disc drive had only to identify the cd, as I played all games from the hard drive, Eventually l still had to rebuild the disc player. It's still rolling.

I have my xbox 360 wireless controller on my pc for five years now. I only had to change the conductive rubber on the dpad and get third party rubber for the analog sticks. It's still working like when I bought it new, I play LOTS of fighting games and souls games with it. This controller is immortal.

I think there's less reason to own a 360 than there is to own a PS3. Merely because of Microsoft's own phenomenal efforts with backwards compatibility. Many 360 games actually play significantly better on current consoles. Sony hasn't really given a good option to play PS3 games on newer hardware outside of remasters.
If your happy with the lists of backwards compatibly, my main issue with the new Xbox one and series x is the lack of good titles, the Xbox 360 had it all good backwards completely good new titles, and the controllers even today feel so much more fit for your hands compared to the series x and Xbox one, shame with the ring of death but it sums up most of Microsoft under development, the new halo is another perfect example of this

I just got one the other day with a bunch of games for a sweet deal. But sometimes it doesn't want to play the disc. I think I gotta clean it.
It could be the laser needs cleaning or replaced… I got two the slim and the elite and got issues with the elite I can by pass the red ring sometimes and the slim takes a while from dashboard to read the discs but I’m glad I got them for sure

The XBox 360 RROD is not from solder melting from heat. It is scientifically not possible. The chips shut themselves down, by design, at a temperature that is unsafe for the chip (~100C would be crazily hot), but well below the melting point of solder (~180C for leaded solder, and much higher for lead-free solder). The culprit was simply bad chip design. Unlike with the slim model, Microsoft insisted on developing the chips for the original 360s themselves, rather than relying on (or at least getting help from) an ASIC vendor. They changed that with the slim, which was also when their RROD issues mostly eliminated.
Also depends on the revision, very late fats are actually more reliable than slims.
Actually the most reliable xbox 360 is the FAT one, jasper motherboard, they just don't red ring, but slims and E-models have more and more cases in the recent years of Red dot of death.

You can play most of the games on the Xbox one and Xbox series X|S that was released on Xbox 360 so there’s no need to really buy it or use it. you also get fps boost and better quality for games released on 360 that you play on Xbox Series X|S. Due to Microsoft’s convenient backwards compatibility, you don’t need to really worry about what games you have the ability to play like Sony’s platforms they’ve released, that’s the one thing I’ve always acknowledged and adored in regards to the consoles Microsoft has been putting out, you’re able to play a majority of the gems that was released on older gens with no problem.
Eah current gen and last gen is garbage , i can count a decade off good games on one hand. Xbox 360 on the other hand has literally all good games compared to current and last gen. Still a whole other year to get something half decent.
Id rather have my modded 360 with 400+ games on its hard drive than a new Xbox to play 360 games on 😂😂 a modded system is always better than a basic unmodded system.

Just a correction, HD-DVDs store 15gb on single layer disc, single layer bd can store 25gb. Dual layer would be 30gb and 50gb. BD still has more storage, but just wanted to mention that. All in all, good video, enjoyed it. Good job!

I didnt used mine for like a year. Why i wanted to turn it off it doesnt turned on. Not the red shit. I was crying. I growed up with my xbox. Playing minecraft, fifa 14, ac 1,2,3, and lego star wars, and lord of the rings. Thank you for giving me the best childhood.
Haven't had one in years. I love the console, but my experiences with the Xbox 360 have always been disastrous. Problems with getting games to run right especially when it tells me "open tray" or "unrecognized disc" even if the games were newish. I had my first 360 I believe over heat on me when I was really little and it stopped working completely or something like that. I had games break because I bumped into the console or someone else would (this happened with Minecraft, Borderlands, mw3, ultimate alliance, etc). Strangely enough, I don't remember getting the red ring of death much but I swear I remember seeing it in person before at some point. Of course the awful battery situation was awful. I could barely play online because of the whole wireless adapter thing. It was strange, however I realized I usually always had the original 360. I'm older now and I made sure to order the slim, get a charger station, and get working games. Hopefully this will be a great experience this time around, I can't wait to receive my 360.
@clocks1 Yes the fat ones were what I always owned and they always had problems at some point. I swear there was not a single fat 360 I had that didn't have any issues. It was bound to have something wrong with it eventually everytime.

Mine got the death ring once and I literally shut it off instantly and took off the pillow I left on it (don’t ask) waited a day and it works just fine to this day that happened in 2018 :p

BF3 on Xbox 360 was max 24 players on conquest. The next gen after that supported 64 player max on BF.
I know that many consoles can be emulated by many ways on a pc, but i think that the best way to play "old" games is on the original consoles, i mean, you can play on your pc maybe at a higher resolution, but the original essence is on the original console. That is why nintendo is selling mini consoles. There are many ways to play our old consoles decently, ps1(tv crt whith s- video, is preety good), ps2, xbox and gamecube (component cable), xbox 360 and ps3 whith lcd tv 720p or 1080p (hdmi). To be fair, the mini consoles released these days are all emulation based, exactly what runs the games on PC. Maybe its having the original style controller in your hand which sells it to you more?

I've been playing games since I was 3 years old and I am 40 now. The Xbox 360 is still my favorite console of all time. I have the consoles and games from the NES up to last generation (XB1.) Including Nintendo, Sega, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. The 360 has more games that I enjoy than any other consoles. I really like the controller too. :)

I used PS3 for 8years and I never have any problem but I was changing thermal paste 4 or 5 times my friend did same with Xbox 360 and everything was working fine.
as the console ages, the rechargeable batteries are an upside because they're super easy to swap out to rechargeabel AAs
I have quite a few Xbox’s. Mine and my 3 kids all have one. In total I have 3 OGXbox’s, 7 360’s, 2 XBONE, 2 XB1S and a XB1X. I’ve had to repair many of the 360’s and my Day One XBONE. If you know how to repair a 360, I say go for it. But, they will fail or overheat often. I’ll tell ya, I’ve never had to fix a PlayStation.

Next gen controllers feel flimsy in comparison to Xbox 360 controllers. My Xbox360 controllers need thumbstick replacements and they'll be like new.

Even though the exclusive library for Xbox isn’t huge the exclusives are great especially Gears of War. Although I’m a 100% Sony fanboy now I would say if you haven’t owned a 360 do so because you won’t be disappointed, unless you buy a first gen 360 that will red ring you like 3 of them did you me. I miss playing the old DOA beach Volleyball and the other beach volleyball games of that era. That generation really broke the mold with how many games were available at the time and the quality of the games. My favorite RE game RE5 played silky smooth on 360 and looked fantastic.
Xbox 360 slims are dying more frequently as of late, so I'd recommend you buy a Jasper phat 360, or the E models

I'm old so I've got to watch the birth of home gaming from Atari 2600 till what we have today. Hands down the golden age of gaming was 2007-2010. I still have friends from then I met online. Competitive gaming died with CoD2 and Halo 3. I miss being able to get online and putting on my headset and hearing voices. Party chat ruined that. Online gaming solo just feels like a ghost town now. CoD2 and 4, GoW, Test Drive Unlimited and Halo 3 will always have a spot in my heart.
Now I got my old 360 running and downloading old games, can't wait to relive my childhood.

They actually announced the Halo games will be "sunsetting" (their words) the Xbox360 online modes soon. So Halo online will be gone within a year. Most people will be playing MCC anyway
