This is one of my favourite books in my collection. They did fabtastic work getting all these scans and photos in such amazing detail.

I visited the Frazetta museum run by his family. Amazing to see the original artwork up close, the paint strokes are masterful and the colors more vibrant. This book does it Justice.

I’ve got this, beautiful. There’s also Taschen oversized versions of Amazing Spider-Man , Fantastic Four, and the Avengers. Scanned from the best existing original comics from collections they could find so you can experience today what they would have looked like as though you’d brought them on from time their publications I’ve got Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four and it reprints the first twenty issues or so and they are beautiful

Beautiful book. I have a lot of his books but not this one. He’s one of my inspirations to becoming the artist I am now. Met him at his gallery many years ago. I’m trying to schedule to go again to shoot a video for my channel. Thanks for sharing.

Got this a couple of months ago. Great book and probably the largest you will ever see his art in a book. Taschen also came out with 75 Years Of DC Comics: The Art Of Modern Mythmaking by Paul Levitz in 2010. It is an XL book, same size as this Frazetta book. Very good. Smaller version have been released since but you can still get the XL if interested. Has great detail on all DC history.
Would be cool for you to do a review of the Taschen DC History book XL by Levitz. It could be a retro review.
Sorry. One last mention on the Taschen DC book. There are many full page comic covers in there. It is many more pages than the Frazetta one. The largest you will see most of the classic covers.
I heard that Frazzetta "blew up" when his art adorned the Robert E Howard Conan paperbacks published during the late 60s and throughout the 70s. Not sure if it is true. I was too young at the time, but those Conan covers were great. Some people have said that those covers were a big part of the Conan resurgence and success.
Will there be a review on batman golden age omnibus vol.1? And if so when? Im conflicted if I should buy it

I would recommend Taschen's EC Comics book.... nearly as good as this Excellent Frazetta book!
