TJ...been watching your videos for a yr so now... Great craftsman, I enjoy the same other than I haven't learned to weld yet. BUT, in past videos this seems to be where you start and don't stop till you modified it for camping and other outdoor adventures...I'm only saying this because I seem to do the same...one more item, one more change...please keep up the great "How To's". Your product reviews are great as well
The PA14 is designed to fish out of, not to DJ a concert out of. Music will acare the shit out of fish if it's played through a thin plastic hull like a kayak.
Using the steel runners seems to have different pros and cons. Like you, I have a PA14 and some of the interstates and roads can be rough and what is you view. PVC or steel
I put a foam on the deck of my kayak. Looks great but I've noticed a korner up on the bow is releasing. Is there some type of adhesive you could recommend I use to solve the problem? I fish saltwater here in Sarasota, Fl. Thanks great show
How do you know if your new rims will fit the lug pattern. I have 13” tires on the one I picked up but how do I know I’ll get the right rims and lug pattern? Ty in advance TJ
Nice looking trailer! Looks very professional. We used a jon boat trailer for ours. Tried to get a used one for about $300 but weren't able to ever connect with the seller and were pressed for time (long story), so we ended up getting a new one. We needed a galvanized trailer because we launch in saltwater and it was going to eat our regular steel trailer up with rust, so it was easier to bolt things on rather than weld. It works very well for what we need, though yours definitely looks nicer 😎
Thanks, so EMT is the the metal pipe electricians use to run wire through. It’s the pipe you see in big building running down a wall or across the ceiling. You can get it at Lowes or Home Depot. Get the 2” x 10’ . 👍🏼
I’m looking for those retractable straps and I can’t find any over 6’. Can you give me some more info on them. I just ordered the new design from Tennessee Trailers… K2Pro. I don’t see on their website a long enough retractable strap. Thanks
Love the dual exhaust for your kayak!!
😂 Me too
In process of building a kayak trailer. Good idea on the carabiner vs hook. Thx
Brother, any videos on launch and retrieve with a big heavy kayak like this while submerging the trailer and kayak?
TJ , this is absolutely the best looking kayak trailer. WOW.
TJ, very nice, simple, functional, great build all around. Thx.
I like that seat and how it sits high in the kayak
Nice, it turned out so good. Looks like it was done by a professional manufacturer!
Great looking trailer!

NEVER BEEN DONE!! Can I see you put a marine sound system on a kayak please just for fun!

Trailer turned out great man... thanks for the update brother...
Looks great. Just Got to figure out a way to put rod tubes on the side and rigging lights
Thanks, yeah I won’t be adding tubes to this one. This is my light weight simple build.
I can not find the link anywhere on your list for the spare tire carrier you found??

EMT > PVC 👍🏼
Which hub cap did you buy for the rims?

Thanks for the video, trailer looks great and can’t wait to get to work on one. Just got a Jackson BigRig so I’ll need one!!
Can you make me one and I will come pick it up and buy it??
How much will it cost?
Just what I was looking for, thank you!
Awesome set up I’ve been waiting on this video

Do those axles have any Springs or suspension
Dude your trailer is awesome, you should make them for a living. I'd buy one....
Thanks man! 🤙🏼
The trailer is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Looks great!!
What trailer frame did you start with?
A very old boat trailer.
Definitely an inspiration for me I'm building one cheers 🍻
Great job man👊

Well thought out design.

What happened to the whip lights on the back of the trailer? Did you not like them? Thinking about buying some but now I see you Took them off
where did you get your axle what size
We want another kayak and trailer update
How long is your trailer?
It’s about 16 to 17 feet long 👍🏼
That is one awesome looking kayak trailer!
Sorry, but what exactly is the “EMT” Runners made of and Where can I get them? Building my own trailer now and enjoyed your vid.

Where did you find the trailer itself?
What is the W x L of your trailer from tire to tire
Wow, awesome trail build. I would love to have one just like it. Do you build to sell? What did this one cost you to build?
Thanks, nahh I don’t sell em but you can build them out of old trailers cheap 👍🏼
What kind of trailer is this?
Sweet, love the wheels. How's it feel when towing? BTW the extra lights are probably a really good idea you put up front for visibility.
It ties great! It’s high enough that I can see it behind my truck really well too. 🤙🏼
Amazing finished product. What was your total cost for this one?
How’s the pond?
When your kayak needs a trailer, should you still be in a kayak? 14 foot V hull is so much more.
You can’t fish a kayak tournament in a V-hull… 👍🏼
What is emt
Dude love the trailer, but this is not your everyday Joe Blow build.
My Hobie dealer told me that PVC pipe shouldn’t be used under their kayaks due to a chemical interaction with their hulls. Have you heard this??
Might as well be pulling a boat at that point.
Can’t fish a kayak tournament in a bass boat.. 👍🏼
