- WE NO LONGER SELL THESE FENDER EXTENSIONS BECAUSE THE DUTIES, IMPORT AND SHIPPING COSTS FROM AUSTRALIA IS SUBSTANTIAL. Please see doubleblackoff....
Keep your Jeep legal and eliminate tire poke with these very nice looking (and functional) fender flare extensions. Tires that stick out past the fenders, even a little, are illegal in most jurisdictions.
Additionally, we have found these extensions significantly reduce debris and mud splatter up the sides of your Jeep. We hate muddy door handles!
Here's the details on these:
Available for Jeep JT Gladiator Rubicon and JL Wrangler Rubicon (2 Door & 4 Door).
Will not work with Sport, Sahara or Overland fender flares. Only Rubicon models.
Flares are made with fibreglass. They will crack if you have tree sex. However, they are easily replaceable.
They come unpainted. We paint them with bed liner and they look great.
Installation is straight forward. You remove your inner fender liner plastic rivets and replace with the rivets supplied.
You will need a plastic rivet tool to install them (tool not provided).
Crafted in Australia by Double Black OffRoad.
Each order is a set of 4 fender flare extensions, corner-specific.
Jeeps we build are typically running a 17x9" wheel with a 0 or +1 offset. While this offset is conservative, most offroad tires, with a 12.50 width, will still poke (or extend) past the stock fender coverage. Our blue EcoDiesel Gladiator (KHAN) is running -18 offset with a 13.50 wide tire, which results in massive tire poke. This is a major issue for police as you can throw rocks (or debris) into other motorists. Further, you're likely to receive a ticket for the offence. These fender extensions are the solution you are looking for to cover your tires and run legal.
I was excited about this until I saw the price. It's a bit too much for ~$650US. Mopar had recently released its own Fender Flare extensions from the Xtreme Recon package. It sells for about $60. It doesn't look as good as this one, but maaan... price competition doesn't even come close!
I got the extreme recon fender Extensions from Mopar for $80 with rivits. They don’t got the full length of the fender but well worth the price.
You can get the extreme recon extensions for 60 bucks from Mopar and save 600 bucks
Not approving of the 600 tag for these, but it's just as bad a move to spend 60 bucks to make my 60k truck look like I ran out of material making flare extensions. The recons look like shit
What paint did you use? Looks great!
Yikes, I would buy a set of those maybe for $200 but not $850? No Way. Look great though.
Maybe for 150….MAYBE
Yep WAY overpriced. Mopar it is
But.. but... they're so cool though 😂
will they hold up when going through a car wash?
Why fiberglass though? Why not use same material as the Jeep fenders?
Nice builds on your website!
Which version fits the canada jeeps?
Will they help with tar smudges? I don't care about the dirt so much, I can spray it off in 5 mins but it took me an hour of intense rubbing to remove the tar from my vehicle. My JT color is high velocity, so this stuff shows...
No longer available? Dont see them on site
Sorry, no longer available as they are hella expensive. Contact double black offroad in Australia for a set.
Is there an installation video on this product?
you can buy these for $51 bucks from Mopar for the JL. They are not available for the JK. Any plans on making these for the JK?
Man I was super excited to think I’d found a solution to not having to get AEV’s expensive wheels to keep my tires inside the flares.... and then I saw the $850 price tag on these 😳... how are these MORE than what I can get a full set of fender flares for?
Yeah, that's crazy for 4 narrow pieces of plastic. Sure it's Canadian $s but still.
When you are the only product and you come Australia.
Yeah, was excited till i saw the price 🤭
@#%*@? THAT
In fact it's so high it turned me off buying anything
Hell yes . Finally some that look great 👍
Hi I need help we're can I buy extensions fenders for my u jeep gladiator
Fellas. Picked these up from you on weekend and will install this weekend. Paul mentioned using a spray liner. Did that work as a decent sound deadener as well? DBOR suggested a sound deadener spray as a finish.
When will these be available for the gladiator? Just tried to order them and they seem to be blocked out! Thanks, look great!!
Our apologies, they sold out quickly. We have more coming in January!
Like em. Same for us in Sweden to be legal.. no poke allowed 😳But...850 ...pjuh...
Do they work with the fender chop too
Unfortunately no. Only stock fenders.
Do you guys have anything for us Sahara owners running some wider tires?
These don’t look like they’ll work with the AAL high line fender lights. ?
Does Paul have spod installed on his gladiator
Holly crap.. do you finance them too 😳,, way to much,, get the mopar ones
Will those only mount on the stock fenders, or will they mount on stock fenders that you do the fender delete on for the extra clearance ?
Hey Marcus, they only mount on stock Rubicon fenders that have not been "deleted".
Definitely looks good!
Thanks guys!
I have issues #1 Earlier you installed the slimline blinkers on your mojave.then I did mine. Will these still fit? #2 I also put 37 nitto trail grapplers 17 x12.5 and I see your 12s still stick out past these new only at Epic extensions.
Make them for the JT sport models please.
Do you guys ship to California
And is the price the same?
Are these not available still?
They are available to order direct from Australia
It’s pretty disappointing that this will only work with rubicon models. Was trying to look for some fender extensions for my Sahara altitude :/
Yeah, unfortunately they only make them for the Rubicon high line fenders.
Rubicon or nothing!
Unless I’m missing it on the site and also missed it on the video… what is the actual extension length(or width I guess)? Either way these are on my short list of things to buy. The google that took me to their site looks like they are 2”. For those of us that don’t want to lookup our wheel offset 😅
epic-4wd.com/collections/double-black-off-road/products/double-black-off-road-north-american-rubicon-hi-top-2-extended-fender-flare-kit
@@EPIC-4WD thanks. I had already found the link on your site. It doesn’t contain actual measurements though, just generalized statements about resolving tire poke. The manufacturer site says 2”. I’ll assume that’s accurate on the Canadian/US spec too
@@2wheeltinker Fixed. Added to the site. Cheers!
I’m guessing these won’t work on a Gladiator Sport S with the Mopar mud guards
Nope. Rubicon fenders only at this time!
We are the forgotten… LOL
Needs some for my sport! Hopefully you will have them available in the near future.
Do you fellas have these in stock for me to swing by ans purchase? Or are these custom orders?
Give us a call first please 604-888-2961. We typically have them in stock.
@@EPIC-4WD hey guys. I know you had some on order but haven’t heard back saying they’ve come in so might just chance it and order my own directly from Australia. My question to you pros is, their website show 2” and a 2.5” option. Which ones do you guys order and which size is on Khan? Thanks in advance
@@jesselaporte7184 Our shipment is in Canada, just stuck with UPS now for 9 days. Hopefully they move soon!
@@EPIC-4WD hey guys ya. I spoke to Lindsay yesterday (after this comment) and she said the same. I thought I deleted this so not to sounds like a stalker ex partner.
Will they fit on Mojave factory fender?
the Mojave fender is the same as the Rubicon.
Will these extenders fit a 2021 Rubicon Unlimited in the states? USA?
Only rubicon high flares
Always a problem for my skinny jeans.
Yes, we were talking about you.
I ripped my today getting in my JT 😂
$653 for four pieces of plastic = non starter. $65.30 makes more sense. Mopar makes a set for $60.
I scrape my fenders more than I'd like to admit, Not sure how these would hold up.
The guys at Double Black would of given them a hard time before releasing them to the public and I haven't heard anything bad about them here in Australia
Stock flares with the American Adventure Lab treatment and inner fenders... then we Color-matched them with linex.
Damn sport gets no love smh.. lol looks like a good product though hopefully they make em for the sport soon. Thanks for the vid brotha!

The page you were looking for does not exist...... Did you stop selling them? run out discontinued??
I want wtf doesn’t come on Sahara we off road too lol.
crazy
850? What’s that 650 US? That’s about 500 too high. I like my skinny jeans… but not that much!!
Why not make an extension to fit between the body and the oem flare ? Adding those little extensions looks like crap ! Moving the oem flare out would look 10 times better !!!
$850 for these vs $60 for the Mopar ones….. hmmm.
I'm just here for the music...
How do you even get into your Jeep with skinny jeans
Oh, it's fun to watch ;-)
Even MA doesn't require that on any 4x4 vehicle modified for off road use. Can still be on road without full coverage flares.
NC doesn't require it either.
BTW, a better solution is to junk the plastic and get Poison Spyder Customs flares. Higher clearance.
just get the mopar one for 70$ set of 4 850$ yall smokingh crack up north
So...What if you dont own an EPIC porn rover er I mean Jeep.. can you still use the pink Pool noodle, or the half a blue kiddie pool... I have found that the lime green pool noodles draw the most attention by the PoPo..
So you’re saying the 6” lawn edging is not even an option ? 🤭
@@blueman5924 I've never used 6" lawn edging. But I like the way you think
Price is Steep!! Even converted to US Currency
700.00 LOL
and Bushwhacker is way better than this idea big boy
They’re nice, but $850 😝
Not gunna buy from some one that calls a Jeep a truck 😂😂🤦🏻♂️ a Jeep is a Jeep my guy
Should we give the Canadians a pass?
Gladiators have truck license plates. So they are a truck. Thanks for coming.
“ Flare extensions” ugly asf lmaooo waste of $$
It’s really a shame to have to do that to the poor jeep.
LOL!
