Meslier needs a fresh start and we need a different keeper for next year MOT!
Absolutely spot on Kagey. It didn't work out with Mes, the lights are too bright. I remember certain people saying "I don't believe in stats" when Mesliers' stinking statistics were brought to the table in an argument... Some of the Player United FC crowd... Making themselves look a little silly.
Been amazing Meslier has lasted so long, really is time for a change up!

You hit the nail on the head, Kagey. It's the small incremental deficiencies that matter in the end. It was clear last season that Meslier wasn't up to the task. He has NO command of his 6 yard box and doesn't instil confidence in the defence because he has none to offer. This keeper on a free seems a no brainer. Good age too.

Exactly Kagey, we need to be proactively recruiting, not reactively recruiting. We need some players for the season to get us out of this poxsy league and that's a good suggestion for funds/a good replacement for Meslier at this level. Whatever it takes to get back to the Prem
Its a good shout Kagey and he on a free use the finances from Meslier and Darlow sales to help in the areas we lack most in RB..LB as for long turn yeah backup in PL but its probably to radical and cut throat a move for Leeds its a wait and see ..just hope the waiting doesn't go on and on and we end up with panic signings in areas we don't really need MOT

See I have no qualms about selling meslier Kagey. I don’t think his ceiling goes much higher. However, I don’t want Klarsson at Leeds. When watching him for the u23s he was shockingly bad. He’s done alright in the couple cameos he had recently but I’m not sure if I trust him next season. If he never plays no biggie but if the starting goalie is injured for a long term thing, I don’t think Klarsson is the answer. The Fulham keeper is a good shout though, enjoying your content Kagey. Hope you’re well :)

When we chat about goalkeepers and their cost i always think that Rob Green was free and a great player. Surely our scouts can do better than finding expensive players

He flaps too much can't catch a ball at corners distribution not good punches far too much no need to do that need a more experienced upgrade

Messlier has trod water for 2 years. Started as an excellent young prospect but since them has begun to look extremely nervous especially from crosses. He's very much a line keeper, which doesn't help his defenders. Shot stopping is ok; but his distribution is poor at best. If we can get money for him take it.
The 2 for me in this division that stamd out are Palmer at WBA and the excellent Cooper at Argyle.
