  • In this Blender Compositing VFX Tutorial, we will be improving a boring video by adding a CG statue (made by Giovanni Lucca - Link below) or alternatively you can just add your own object you have previously modeled.
    Just with a little compositing and adding a few simple things we can turn a somewhat boring video into something that looks more exotic and vibrant. Be sure to check out part 2 where we will be using a video that is moving.
    Update
    I have been developing a free blender Addon called VFX Nodes. It has a bunch of cool effects and some tools that will help with lots of different things. If you want, you can check out the blog page here: darkfallblender.blogspot.com/...
    I hope you find this Blender Compositing VFX Tutorial helpful and as always thanks for watching!

    Can this technique also be used on videos or GIFs? For example take 2 characters from another scene and new background which moves: then put it all together.

      It would be scene dependent but it could work.. alternatively you could track the shot as we have done in other videos?

      Yup, I quickly modeled the Blender Logo and added it to the Statue Model.. I think you may be the first to notice it lol..

      @@DarkfallBlender From what I can gather, it's dead due to an issue with resources, so currently doesn't have anyone to handle administration. Shame.

    not accurate light intensity

    • @DarkfallBlender
      @DarkfallBlender  6 років тому +2

      The light seems correct for the shot, but either way if you want to intensify the light then by all means you can do that ;)..
