My daddy made my mommas wedding band from a silver quarter using just spoons ams many hours. They were married 50 years! It is one of our most cherished heirlooms!
I can't say that the rings are very rounded. I don't like very round, bulging rings. I find it ugly and uncomfortable to wear on the finger. So I make them slightly rounded. After 17 degrees die, I squeeze the rings a little with the rings stretcher tool (at the bottom of the tool, to reduce) and get rounded.
lol COOL i wish i had you do my coin ring .... paid big money for a 1896 morgan to be turned into a ring and the whole thing is like 1/3 of the way done. its really ruff and sometimes sharp and the other end is super bulkey ... thought by paying up for it i would get a quality product.... i usually need all my rings custom because i wear a size 17 ring... it has really been one of my major disappointments in the last few years.... its like he got barely into it my ring looks like the coins at 2:20 before they were re pressed into a oval... the whole thing still is cone shaped smh i wish i had the tools to fix it on my own... and i dont really have a place i can take it to have it fixed... im pretty sad about it
God Save your Country, and may he continue to bless you and your business. I am sorry you had to close down your business because of the Putin invasion of your country. I only hope you and your country wins this awful war.
Hello. My work from your coin costs $35 plus postage. Also, I don't take risks if the coin suddenly cracks during the stretching process. This happens sometimes. If I make a ring using my coins, then these risks are my problems. But if from the customer's coin, then I disclaim responsibility.

That law applies more to melting them down or coring them out to remove the silver or gold content and adding others stuff back in. I mean there have been coin crushing machines around for more than 70 years even at national parks and Disney parks.
@@SilvaDreams I say nowadays they won't enforce the law look what Joe Biden's done got away with it tell me legal people come on across nowadays if a person gets in trouble all you got to say you're a democrat in they will let you go
After all that work to modify coins ...I bet your not selling it for 50 cents....I have seen these coin rings over 40 years ago....the only good thing..is it will make some coins ..more rare
Oh there are still plenty of them floating around. I work at a gas station and I get silver dollars from time to time along with lots of different ones. I think my most infamous find was a civil war coin that looked like a penny, it's valued at over 10,000$
Yes, I lose my home, my workshop and we forced to be a refugee because of the outbreak of war. Even in my worst nightmare, I could not imagine such a situation. But I believe in victory!
40 percent silver 60 percent copper, so basically you made a silver plated copper ring and a electrolyte cell so every time the ring comes in contact with water or sweat it will degrade the metal and corrode like a battery 😂
Congratulations since half dollar coins are still considered legal tender you are guilty of two counts of violating U.S. Code section 331 against the mutilation of US coins and your own video has provided all the evidence they would need to convict you.
And how can this American law affect me if I am not a US citizen and live in Europe? And in general, there is no malice or fraud in my actions, therefore I am clean before the law.
@@RobertWilliams-mb9jb No. There is a community of craftsmen who make rings out of coins, and there was an official request and clarification of US laws and there was an official response from lawyers that this is legal.
