You have a great collection. In 2010, I had almost 4000 Hot Wheels, Matchbox and Johnny Lightning vehicles. I had every intention on expanding, but brain surgery in August and again, January 27, 2011 followed by Congestive Heart Failure prior to Super Bowl Sunday of 2011, all of that changed! After my wife walked away, then divorce, I just began giving them away to children for their enjoyment, because collecting didn't appeal to me anymore. It's nice to see others in the hobby, but I still have my SIZZLERS and my memories. I'm sure that I kept a few.
I was 8 years old in 1977. There are less than 10 of these cars shown that I didn't have. As I was watching I kept shouting, "I HAD THAT ONE! AND THAT ONE! AND THAT ONE!" I had hundreds of Hot Wheels from the 70's that are now highly sought after. I also had several track sets including the Thrill Drivers shown here. When I went to college in 1987 my step mother threw away the entire collection. I only have 3 left. I literally wept as I watched this video, but it brought back some great childhood memories.
I am so sorry to hear of the terms of the loss of your childhood collection, that's a tough pill to swallow 😢 . I hope you can enjoy collecting new models of cars you enjoy today now, although the nostalgia is still n I t going to be anywhere close to a childhood collection, and I get that. But at least you can see your old cars here, or close enough.
I’m so glad to read that enthusiasm no kidding I was born in 1962 we never had money for collections lol but I remember playing cars they were loose and rolling around now I see redline cars with no paint left on them selling like wild cards I love it you never know what’s to be treasured in life till it’s gone. Not to be sentimental but cherish every moment with your loved ones ❤️but remind your kids that a toy is more than a character. It could be a paycheck.
I just keep watching these year by year videos. I watch the newest ones too, then come back and annually go thru the old ones. The best HW videos ever.

Thanks! I have been waiting patiently for the next video from you. These longer vids showing a collection in detail are so well made & so entertaining. Well done & keep it up!
Perfect video. Informative speech, great spirit and awesome variations. It's good to have price references too. Even the duplicates boxes are impressive... Concerning condition, I agree it's going to impact value A LOT. I collect loose models only, opening blisterpacks if it's the only option to get a car I badly want. To me, Mint would be 90% of what Tomart's price guide gives (Keeping a margin) - Mint minus 80% - NM 65% - EXC 40% and VGC 20 to 25%. Do you think those numbers are right ?

This is really cool. I still have all my originals I got as a kid from this period. And ai have 90% of at least one version of those shown. It’s cool to see RL & BW versions together.
The Buzz Off-The beetle tampo version was produced as part of the same promotion as the "Wisconsin Toy Company" cars. These were produced in 1977 for a detergent manufacturer but the promotion was cancelled while the Buzz Off was in production. As a result, few of them made it to market with some going to Japan in the boxed redline release.

The 1976 redline Staff car you mentioned $450 value, or near. But the harder to find blackwall in this year only $300, possibly more? I just wondered if you were mistaken before? I have the blackwall.
Wait. I have a question. When you showed the Supervan in the Superchromes series You only a Blackwall version and not a redline version. I know the redline version does exist because I have one in my collection I bought at a yard sale in a box of mixed cars. Is the redline van very rare? is it rarer than the Blackwall van? and if so how much do you think it could bring?
I got lucky and found a Carabo. I did better. I only paid $15 for mine about 3 years ago. I don't have the box but mine's pretty much in the same condition as yours. I did check my posts. All good 👍😁 be curious to know what you might know about "noodle head" from 1970 redline

They are so very tough to find, especially real ones. Must buy from a reputable seller when one comes up, otherwise it's questionable if authentic. You'll know if the pictures are really good. If not, it's fake.
@@wtffor hope to find a real one one of these days. I would prefer the black wall. I put the word out to a couple groups I am in to keep an eye out for any around $500 regardless of condition. Essentially the black wall staff car is my holy grail. I would have never known it even existed if it was not for your videos.
There is a guy on Ebay you is selling a forged redline motorhome, he couldn't even get the right amount on these wheels, he had the different redline s
I'm not sure how long you have been a this, i'm assuming a long time, just wondering if you have found the internet has helped or hurt the hobby as far as collecting? I think in some ways it's great that you can find anything on there, but then i would think that would make everything less rare because of accessibility.
Without the internet this channel would not exist, let alone my collection. Yes it has .are rare cars more available, but that is good for collectors. Without availability, interest starts to fall for a hobby.

Hey sorry cant remember name of car but its the cutlass army car. As you was talking n how rare and no info on where it came from. Idk but go look at the left front wheel. It is a capped center and the other 3 wheels are normal black walls.
Interesting, it's a transitional axle it seems! 🤔
O dawg got a question. I have looked on ebay and all the staff cars are fake. How do I find a real one even in crap condition? I really would like to get one that at least has the side tampo readable . I watched most of your videos many times and that is one of the cars I crave the most.
I think that letter getter always had some tampo missed from new I opened mine because the card was terrible and my tampo is not perfect
Hi baby
There is a guy on Ebay you is selling a forged redline motorhome, he couldn't even get the right amount on these wheels, he had the different redline s
Gotta be careful of those unscrupulous ebay sellers!
I have that Same Buzz Off with Beetle Tampo. In good shape. Not attached to it either. Just saying. lol
Hi sir.. Do you keep a old black van which has a spoiler on rear top.. This van and el rey special was print together in old one card.. I just want to know the name of the van and are they exist or not. But i believe its exist same as el rey (looks like old green f1 car).. Tq so much sir
