Great Job, When I was young the way we use to get the car raise from the back was by replacing the shackle for bigger ones, that way the rear end would raise more. Good job man, keep up the good work.

I was really just trying to get the back end more level. She was riding lower on the driver's side. That leaf spring was just worn out so I figured that I'd replace them both.

Best way to learn is by doing it yourself! Good job man!

Thanks! I learn by two ways.... by doing it myself and by doing it the hard way! 🤣😂 thanks for the comment!

Like the Continental kit that you have on it. You did a fine job. I usually take my tape measure and get a measurement of before and after. Nice work.

Thank you..... it's just one of many projects that needs to get done on this old girl. Thanks for the comment.

I’m starting the same project on my 55 Fairlane town sedan this weekend. The car was sagging on the driver’s side. Just like you, I ordered the springs ahead (coincidentally from General Spring, before finding your video) and started pulling things apart before they got here, realizing I need to order additional parts as I went along. Thanks for documenting the process. It really helps a guy out!

No problem man.... that's what I'm here for. I have a bunch more videos on the "restoration" of this car.... check'em out!
