Thank you for your very real blogs. Your informative Visa info is really appreciated. Regarding the ‘ticket’ you had to show as part of your application, what did that mean? From where to where and when did you need a ticket for ? Thank you. Keep up the good work x
Good to see everything is moving forward for you two. I and I'm sure others were wondering where you disappeared to and why no new videos. Good to see everything is ok.
All part of the process. We had our VFS appointment in San Francisco and when we were traveling there, our flight was canceled due to an ice storm. We were a day late getting there but they let us in. Also, most all documents get scanned so staples wont work. our d7 stack was about 3 inches thick! hope you get your AIMA appointments with your visa. we didnt and have to take legal action to get our cards. still we have no regrets. our house is in the far north or Portugal. im sure it will all work well.
Hi. Thank you for such a fantastic comment. It sounds like you really went through it to get your visa. Maybe we should be asking you what to do next haha
@@Iwantalemon I would have to learn to fly one of my own really first really, but I'm sure you can find something's in the UK at a very affordable price, unlike here in Portugal !
This is a very helpful video! Thank you SO much. We are trying to get our appointments in London for stage 1. Logging in every day. Can we ask are you applying for a D7 each or jointly ? We are husband and wife and my husband is the main applicant with his military pension. I top up our income with an annuity but I don't qualify for a D7 on my own. Hope that makes sense? We want to apply as a couple. Are they allowing you to do that ? Any info appreciated. Thank you ❤
Hi. Thank you for the great question. We applied as a couple with David been the main applicant. We both have a passive income which we demonstrated with documentation, as a married couple we had to show £14,000.00 ($18,000.00) minimum as a saving. They need two copies of your marriage certificate. Good luck with your application and keep trying.
@@Iwantalemon Thank you so much for replying and for the info. We were unsure if they did joint applications and wondered if we would have to go for D7 for husband and a D6 for me as my passive income is less than his and I don't qualify on my passive income for a D7 outright. Its pleasing to hear they are still accepting joint applications. Jen - did you put David's income info in your file when you handed it over please ? So you duplicated everything for each other's appointments? Please keep us updated on your progress, hope you find out soon!
@@sarahcampbell-t2g OK So The operative at vfs described us as main applicant David (pension) and myself accompanying We did end up Photocoping all of our documents so that David’s were doubled up with my own Bank statements for the last three months were handed over They were very keen for us to show we had £8000 showing for David and £6000 for my self proving we had the money to support ourselves on top of our monthly income Of course we now own a house in Portugal and as for medical we took out an insurance to cover that for a year So I believe you will both be able to go as D7 if you can show these things

Any news on your D7 visa application yet ?
My wife and I had our "interview" with VFS on 1st July and we are still waiting 29th September.
We are still waiting as well. Just got to be patient I guess.
