Hi, nice video. Just a note about the minimum stay requirements, you’ve mentioned per year but it’s actually per permit. Which means the first permit is valid for 2 years and you need to live in Portugal for 16 months (24-8 non consecutive = 16) or 18 months (24-6 consecutive = 18). The next permit is valid for 3 years with a minimum stay of 28 to 30 months. 😊
Additionally: The annual returns for specific Golden Visa funds like the Holborn and Solar Future funds are not typically disclosed in detail online due to privacy policies and competitive market reasons. However, many Golden Visa funds in Portugal target returns between 5% and 10% annually. For instance, the Solar Future Fund, managed by Green One Capital, is a clean energy-focused fund investing in solar and battery projects. It is often discussed with a growth potential due to the renewable energy sector's expansion in Portugal, but specific return percentages are usually accessible only upon direct consultation with the fund provider or through investor disclosures Seems like the Portugese have set up a nice pork barrel for their funds, and a barber shop for the eager foreigners to take a big haircut!

I love Portugal and i bought a house and have a good pension. I now have a fiancee with four small kids. I can go back to the UK teach for 5 months for the 22k I need in the bank. I am a couple of hundred euros short on my pension. I can do a bit of teaching to cover that but if all my income has to be passive it looks like i am screwed. The dream just died.
Hi, do you know if the proves of money income should considers discounts? For example: My jubilation income is 900 euros, but I have a Credit that discounts 200 euros, 900 - 200 is 700. If they considera only the income, I would califie, but it they considera 900 - 200 I wouldn't. Do you have any information about that? Thank you in advance
Nice video, I have a question am in Nigeria, I have rental property, farm and transport company I make around 900 euros a month if converted and I don’t have to be around my money will be paid into my account single no kids am I qualify for the D7 visa? Thanks.

Team, I do job in USA company from UAE, its not online job, its physical job. I earn salary that qualify that amount required for D7 visa per month. I also has required statement to survive in Portugal for 2 years. As this job is outside of Portugal, will my income be counted as passive income? If I keep my family in Portgul and keep supporting them by UAE salary, Can I get D7 visa approval ?
The new tax laws for expats are uncompetitive and frankly off-putting. No longer a 10% flat rate but a progressive rate which is 32.5% I calculate will cost some one £8000 living off pension and investment income of £25k annually which is £4000 more than the taxes in UK, so I think Spain is much more appealing for those on fixed income.
Very informative 😊
