Surely there’s an avenue for you to whistleblow on that practice? That’s entirely unacceptable and a good reason to start picking apart the university system Technology has made the centralisation of information obsolete, what’s really needed now is just instruction on how to apply that knowledge

A few of them got shut down for illegally producing fake certificates.
They do.... If you watched the first case, you would have heard them say that they have a list of bogus colleges...
Agree! We have a lot of them here - they run classes but no one will take the certification. They take advantage of people
Hard to investigate colleges that are not real.
They surely do! Same thing happening in Canada!

I have been to UK as a student (Postgraduate) and I went out of my way to make sure all paperwork is up to standard. I left before my Visa was about to expire and never got in any trouble with immigration. People from my country and countries like mine do so many things to scam the systems of so many countries that our passports might as well be made of low quality toilet paper.
People make immigration officers out to be evil, but these people are trying their best to make sure that those who shouldn't be in their country are not allowed in. I am very left-leaning, but I can't stand immigration scammers.
Good to hear the opinion of a bloke with some integrity rather than academics making excuses for the subversion of almost every public institution
It also gives people from your country a terrible name.
My late wife did a postgraduate in England (Reading uni) and I actually have no idea how easy or hard it was to do so. Being from Europe probably made things much easier (which isn’t fair concerning non European students).
Your English is impeccable :)
Some of the blame has to fall in Uk embassies overseas for not properly vetting these applicants and issuing the visas blindly
They should all just come to the US. At this point we have totally open borders and no documents are needed. Coincidentally we're rapidly becoming a third-world country ourselves.

Guys, I am a retired College Professor, I have seen, and know of some Colleges (Universities) that students pay (high amounts) but there are no classes. You visit the Registrars office, that really exists with one purpose: collect the Registration Fees, then students get their diplomas after the time that the students were supposed to finish their course work; 2 years or so.
Surely there’s an avenue for you to whistleblow on that practice? That’s entirely unacceptable and a good reason to start picking apart the university system
Technology has made the centralisation of information obsolete, what’s really needed now is just instruction on how to apply that knowledge
