One of Death Metal's biggest bands, DYING FETUS return with their highly anticipated new album, Make Them Beg For Death. Recorded in Baltimore with longtime producer Steve Wright and mixed by Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse), Make Them Beg For Death contains every DYING FETUS hallmark. The veteran Death Metal band’s ninth album is fast, intense, and brimming with unstoppable grooves.
Monstrous riffs, blast beats, unstoppable hooks, and earth-moving grooves define their catalog. “We put our own twist on Death Metal,” explains co-vocalist/guitarist John Gallagher. “We were like most bands, starting in the garage, drinking beer, having a little fun on the weekend, finding the right amps through trial and error. We blended aspects of bands we liked - Suffocation, Obituary, Deicide, and Cannibal Corpse, among others; the dual vocal approach of Carcass - and made them our own. ‘Let’s make it moshy, let’s make it slammy.’”
Make Them Beg For Death delivers savage beatdowns equally designed to pulverize and mesmerize. “It follows on from where Wrong One To Fuck With left off,” drummer Trey Williams promises. “We don’t need to participate in the technical death metal arms race. We’ve got the big guns, and we’ve proven that. It’s all about pointing them in the right direction, so to speak.”
To the men of DYING FETUS, the mission is straightforward. “The philosophy is the same now as it was when the band started,” Gallagher confirms. “To write catchy riffs and to make it memorable. Whatever style of music you’re doing, make it something people want to hear repeatedly.”

great riffs and johns vocals jiust get better with every year since 1990 when i actually meet df and opened for them on skinless and berzerker gorguts tour in 1990 john and myself were both tuninfg down to c# at that time it was destroy the opposition !and johns still out in them brutal trenchs what a group of fkin lions man!\m/ all the fetus boys are legends and deserve whats comin to them for all the decades of the supreme heavy death metal i remembver even in beginning kevin talley was on his blast game and trey has shown some super technical speed and taste !i say without a doubt this is cd and songs of the year for me!\m/ keep on being goats and besafe out there my brothers!\m/and watch df live sometime they are on a diffrent level and allways have pushed every l;ine !\m/ everything about this cd is aces!

Well done good sounding album. Seems like the sound was a bit different one several albums for a while there. Seems they found some body to produce the shit out it. All the metal things that make head bangers bang and bob ur head is made nice and heard.

The album is brutal & punchy. All instruments hit right & I like the out in front vocals. This is up there with the best Dying Fetus album. Sending positivity from Michigan & appreciation for all the years of entertainment. Thank you all involved!

Dying fetus originally scheduled shows for November 2022 in Mexico, Colombia, and another Latin American countries they cancelled them last minute and rescheduled for June 2023, and they cancelled once more with no further explanation more than "logistical issues". Most aggravating thing was they didn't even post an official explanation or apology and the cancellation was just a few days before the shows started.
I personally feel pissed because they did an entire (and longer) gig in Europe but of course there they didn't have any issues. So it seems they simply didn't wanted to come to Latin America, and they didn't have the balls to say it so.
And you think that's their fault

I love their music but I'm still pissed because they keep cancelling their Latin American gigs without rescheduling nor offering any kind of explanation. They don't give a fuck about their fans over here. . . and of course, there were no issues or cancellations for this last Europe gig.
