It was an option when I bought it… decided against it, but I have a welder I can do that at some point if I want… for now I’m thinking I’ll run it and see if I don’t want to make it smaller…

I purchased the same bumper, do we not need the large cross-member (Ford 2C3Z-5C128-AA) bar that was behind the front bumper under the radiator?
It was added late in the 2000 model year to prevent the excursion from driving over vehicles in a re-end collision. It can be unbolted and mine was removed when I installed Coil springs because it was not needed.

@@Geeks4x4 Question on removing said cross-member: The L-brackets that the cross member is bolted to are welded to the front leaf spring mounts. Do leaf spring mounts without these brackets exist? Should I just cut off the L-brackets for now?
@@JustinBarden-fu3en I don't believe they exist without the L's going to have to be custom.
