Really cool art work. 2 thoughts, 1 as she was blowing the white for the waves , the pattern maked me think if done with orange red and black would make killer flames and 2, some tan and sand colors on the under side would give a piece like that some depth and realism. Awsone piece, going to give these a shot. Love the channel!
Erika you knocked it out of the park once again girl, you rock! You have inspired me to give a glass top a go, after a few more practice runs with wooden charcuterie boards and wooden table tops. I love oceans and beaches and that is why I decided a couple of months a go to venture into ocean inspired art in the first place. I love watching you work and I have learnt so much. Thank you. Jeff you also did an awesome job with the board, so flippin talented, I wish I had an ounce of you talent, the thought of attempting spray painting scares the life out of me more than playing with resin lol
Simply amazing. What a paradise you all are creating. Your boys are very lucky to be exposed to all the artistic goings on in their formative years. Your a cool dude Mike!
To answer the question about sand, I would tape off the resin portion along the front edge, put down some spray adhesive on the clear section, and generously add playground sand that has been vinegar-washed, rinsed, and oven dried. Then once totally dry, I would do a second round of the same. Then I would go over either just the sanded area or the whole thing with a layer of clear resin. I say playground sand (purchased from a home improvement store) for 2 reasons: 1) if that glass ever leaves Hawai'i and beach sand has been used, that is kapu, and 2) playground sand will be free of mold, bacteria, and small bugs that may ruin the sandy part.
Thank you for sharing. I am struggling with resin and definitely have RAS. It is so kind of you to share your valuable knowledge. Thank you from Adelaide, Australia.
Erica I'm so glad your breakers were tripping and you had to use the leaf blower, did my first epoxy project of waves on a shuffle board table and had to use my leaf blower bc my heat gun was not nearly as powerful as it needed to be. It came out awesome!!! Thank you and Mike for the tutorial, you rock!!
You three are my heroes...just thought you should know. So much of what I do was inspired by hours of time watching each one of your three UA-cam channels. Xo
My 3 favs!!! ATD, RK3 and SCC all in one !! Such a treat today... Question 1: did you guys put a clear flood coat over the epoxy so it didn't scratch? Question 2: do you think those mini art blowers would work, or is thqt more like a heat/hairdryer gun?? I'm short, 5'2", which Dewalt did you use? I could go look at it at HOME DEPOT... thanks!!
Their work is extremely artistic. Would love a piece like that for a bathroom wall art. For the glass leaving it glass works. For a wall deco I'd go for the sand.
Resin Anxiety is real, but it gets better the more you pour. BTW Rhonda is the boss. I can't open the diamond dust bag without getting that stuff airborne, I didn't see a single rogue sparkle.
it would be wise to leave it like this, the second option is to add sand? I like to put a layer of very light sand colored wood under the glass. Erika was a wonderful work of art. you are amazing
I can't tell you how happy I am to receive a message from one of the world's giants in the epoxy arena.😊 I can't even stand to watch anyone other than you when it comes to epoxy and countertops ✌. you, your partner and those around you, jeff and erika, you are all epoxy leaders. Your sincerity and determination in doing your job is admirable. Meanwhile, through countless trials from jeff and erica, I am learning how to achieve the highest quality of everything used in epoxy. both are uniquely harmonious, like soul and body made for each other. Thank you for turning epoxy into art and making us love it. We learned a lot from you. SIGNATURE; FROM THE OTHER END OF THE WORLD
Is there a way to get a list of products used for the waves and what tools you used to heat and blow your waves. That would be amazing. Love your channel.
That is soo fantastic If you add sand it could be too much Remember earlier you said people tend to make it or try to be perfect and if you add more could over do what you have
You guys make it look so easy! I’ve bought the products and have made a few counter tops and they don’t look like your guys. they still look awesome but not compared to yours. Need to get the veins down and blending colors cause it’s not that easy! Still have yet to impress my husband! That’s the ultimate goal
That piece looks amazing!! I have an oval glass coffee table that will get this now. That airbrush board is also amazing. I mean everything all y’all do is amazing. Also I’m an electrician so if you need me to come fix your breaker issue I can do it. It’ll be a long trip from the Florida Keys, but I can make it happen. 😂
You can do smaller pours, get a cheap picture (framed glass) from goodwill, or buy clear acrylic from eBay. The resin will be the most expensive (check craft stores for sales, search for prices) usually 16oz for around $15-20. And then play. You can use clear glitter, alcohol ink is $3-4. Some come in sets for around $12. You’ll be better off getting a heat gun than using a blow dryer, but use what you have. That way you remove “one day”, and create art.
I’ve done a few small pieces on glass and I found that the glass cracked after a time. I think it was from the epoxy heating and cooling. I did use thin glass from picture frames, so might not have happened with thicker glass. But the pieces looked awesome still👍
That has never happened to me. The only piece I did that cracked was on the window of an old door I put outside and a rock hit the upper corner of the back side. In hindsight I would put a clear coat on the back side or a piece of plexiglas.
It makes a difference what epoxy you're using. Stonecoat has never cracked glass on my pieces, but epoxies that get hotter while curing have ruined pieces for me.
I’d have added sand like Mike did on the circular table. It was beautiful, but I felt it was unresolved. I didn’t see any glass prep. Is there a mechanical bond? Also, is it regular epoxy or art epoxy? I like it when the materials are listed in the descriptions. But the techniques that were shared were very valuable.
Hello sir i need a small help from you we are granite manufacturers and suppliers but sometimes we face problems in granite due too light color in granite Can you suggest something from which i can turn my light color granite into dark ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ pls reply
I like it just glass, I could see sand on a Wooden piece but the glass makes up for the color. I do have a question. Do you have to sand the glass any before you start the epoxy and Do you have to seal the epoxy with like a flood coat after your done? The Table looks Amazing!!
I’ve done a similar ocean pour on a glass top with mica flakes on edges. They look like a rocky beach. I love it!
That's a cool idea!
Share a pic!!

Love the channel!
Loved the sand on the back side idea.
Love to watch ATD, Ericka is so good at this & Jeff is an amazing artist. Along with RK3, SO much talent in that room!
And your boys are adorable!
Totally agree with you, they all rock!
Thanks so much

Simply amazing. What a paradise you all are creating. Your boys are very lucky to be exposed to all the artistic goings on in their formative years. Your a cool dude Mike!
Loved all the close up shots of the 1st white pour. The wives crossed arms and facial expressions said it all.

Major por tip.❤ I would never thought about this and just grabed off our ⛱
I love this. Erica is the bomb. I'm a member of her viewers and she is such an inspiration. Jeff just blows my mind with his art. He is so talented.
Thank you for sharing. I am struggling with resin and definitely have RAS. It is so kind of you to share your valuable knowledge. Thank you from Adelaide, Australia.
I would've liked for her to have added the sand... give it that real beach feel. Mho.
Really cool stuff, keep it coming.
Absolutely love this and the clear was definitely the way to go on the glass table!
I told you a few years ago about a dream I had E!! Big things!! BIG THINGS!! I'm so SO proud. Knew it then and I know it now. Carry on!!
Leave it the way she made it. Beautiful work. I learned a lot watching this. Thank you

It is so gorgeous Erica that ocean is awesome
She did amazing!

That is so DOPE!!!! Gotta try it. She rocked that.
She is super good at it. It looks so nice.
Awesome sauce. That's right, your super power creates awesome sauce and it infects everything you touch. AWESOME!!! SAUCE!!! thanks for sharing, O.
"Punch perfectionism in the face" best quote ever!!!!
Love that one! thanks!
John Malecki is why I’m here! Great videos!
Surfboards are sick... Your tables are not too bad either. I'm actually excited to watch you guys. Very cool
Thanks so much for sharing! I found a piece of waste wood board in my garage, followed your steps and made a beautiful table with it!
Absolutely ! FRIGGIN AMAZING!! Amazing artists! Amazing product! Amazing tutorial! I want in!!!!

It’s interesting to see how Rhonda’s confidence has grown since this video. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
pure beauty comes not just from the art but also the artist. this an awesome video keep up the great work jeff!!!
You got it!
Their work is extremely artistic. Would love a piece like that for a bathroom wall art. For the glass leaving it glass works. For a wall deco I'd go for the sand.
Agreed. I have purchased multiple pieces of their artwork. Each piece is so beautiful and unique!
This is AWESOME!!! Great to know that Epoxy holds on Glass. thanks for this great video
This verifies some ideas I have for the counter top I want to do. This also gives me ideas for a bathroom design.
Very beautiful from start to finish! Love it!
Glad you like it! Would you like to see more projects like this?
Thank you for showing us how to get rid of the bubbles on the edge
We all struggle with this
Beautiful piece
Thank you!
Patricia
It was missing sand. Great idea by making the nozzle shorter.
How can I do this on a vertical bathroom wall? I have thickener but I can't find a link to help with vertical surfaces
ArtistTillDeath is Life!👍🏼
This was a great video! Love everything RK3 & ATD ❤️ Thanks 😊
Wow that board is out standing
My eyes welled up near the end, beautifully done, stunning work.
Resin Anxiety is real, but it gets better the more you pour.
BTW Rhonda is the boss. I can't open the diamond dust bag without getting that stuff airborne, I didn't see a single rogue sparkle.
ガラスの上の発想は、ありませんでした。
凄く勉強になります。
もっともっといい作品をお待ちしております。
コロナが無くなれば、是非行ってみた場所の候補の一つです‼︎
Rhonda is gorgeous, makes the video!
What kind of blower was used? Loved it
I'm in LOVE 🌊 and the surf board is amazing
I enjoyed watching her do her magic.🤯
Hellow from the past. Still loving you creations.

I just love it! You guys rock!!
Is there a material list and maybe a link to a guide I can print out for this? Also is there a certain kind of epoxy that works better for glass?
Это божественно, супер крутая работа, обожаю вас😉
Sitting here at my home in Kona looking at the waves! Beautiful job! Great Ideal! Sorry I missed you Erica!
It’s beautiful for certain. I would love to see sand only for a comparison
Clear...and it is beautiful
Wow that is gorgeous love ❤️awesome Erika 🤣🙌🙌
Wow! Looks awesome! 👌
Thank you!
Great job guys love that art work
Beautiful, but I really appreciate the simplicity of the countertop videos you and Mitch make.
I really appreciate your videos! Please post them over on Rumble as well!
Never hear of it?
You guys are the SHIT🐋🐋🦭🦭🐟🐟🐬🐬Gorgeous. I would leave it clear❤️❤️
That cool Keep teaching y’all . Thanks
Thanls so much

Great idea! we will do that
When?
That is soo fantastic
If you add sand it could be too much
Remember earlier you said people tend to make it or try to be perfect and if you add more could over do what you have
That is a great beach, it is good as is but, from the start I thought it should have some sand.
This looks freaking real. Amazing. 😎
Thank you so much!
Love love love this 😍
Thanks
I am so going to try this!
Wow this is beautiful
Thank you! Would this be a project you would try?

do small projects first, it gets much easier the more you practice.
Missouri too. I’ll be on the hunt
You go

You may want to look at the circular ocean waves one that Mike did a few months ago. He added a sand technique that turned out great!
I changed the breaker to a 20 amp. It must have been wired with 14-2. your thoughts?
@@StoneCoatCountertops Hopefully you didn't use a 20 amp on a 14-2, 20 amp only on a 12-2, no need to burn the place down :(
You guys are my favorite!!! Absolutely love your videos and everything you guys do!
Love from Canada 🥰 keep them coming
Clear, love it !!!
I’m inspired! What an awesome team!
Beautiful!!
I love this! I wonder what it would look like on a mirror...
That sounds like it would be amazing!
One day I'll get enough money to get the materials to do this, my house will thank you.
You will love it!

@@funnylikethat0415 great 👍 comment
Thank you I will do that.
It is fairly cheap for what it’s worth…
Clear! Wonderful art y'all!
yes to sand... also the epoxy sticks to the glass by itself?
How awesomely beautiful!! I subscribe to you both so it was awesome to see this happening together
Right on thank you so much! Do you have any projects coming up?🙌
@@StoneCoatCountertops actually yes. I have a boat coming up.
Such beautiful art!! I have a question though. Could you please tell me the color and brand of the blue tints you used ? I would love to know 🥰

Great video. Beautiful pour. Does Ms Erica ever smile?

If it was me Id prep the glass with isopropyl alcohol
I sanded it with marble pads
She is amazing
So simple & so amazing 😍
Thank you for sharing this awesome work.
Can u tell me please, what proportion of epoxy should be mixed?
Thank you
Love it 😍!!!
Beautiful! Just how do you keep the door open and people all around and not have dust bunnies?
Did you have to sand the glass first, before you apply the epoxy?
Hello sir i need a small help from you we are granite manufacturers and suppliers but sometimes we face problems in granite due too light color in granite

Incredible!!!! 🤙
Mahalo
The stone coat epoxy I have appears to be a lot thinner, could you start from the beginning with the particular Stone Coat Epoxy you are using?
That is awesome!! So beautiful. Did you prep the glass first to make a tooth…? You guys rock!!!
sanded it
Gorgeous 🤗 no sand …
Keep it clear
What a. Great video!!! I learned a lot!!! N
Right on, happy to hear that! Thank you for taking the time to watch be sure to subscribe 🙌
Greetings, if you did not sandpaper on the glass surface ... it will come out over time! Since the smooth surface of the glass does not have adhesion.
I wonder how sand would look second surface. The bottom instead of on the top.
