Imagine an actual complete game with single player, coop campaign and multiple multiplayer modes in 2024. This is probably a day 1 buy for me and I don't do that much these days.
I'd still wait. Day 1 buys and pre-orders are the reason why all these games nowadays are coming out unfinished, "early access", etc. Give it about 2-4 weeks, and keep an eye on UA-cam reviews and Steamcharts.

And games have barely changed price since then at a nominal rate, so not sure why you expect so much more? Games have always been full of bugs at launch. I can’t recall a game that wasn’t. I’d wager you hang out on Reddit, because the sentiment you’re pushing is only really prevalent amongst Reddit crowds.
Hardcore WH40k fans will definitely appreciate every inch of art in this game. From the towering monuments to the tiniest boltgun bullet details. Jfc can't wait!!!

this is exactly what puts me of the game the inacry in the guns is kinda gross ! particulary the rocket propelled shells in the bolter that in this game acts like a m16 is herasy of the highest calbre but what ever kids will love shiny animations!
Almost makes me cry seeing the the skylines and architectural beauty that won't even be taken in by 90% of players charging about. Devs have created art 🤌
@@Krachkint I used to love reading the space marine codex's when I was a kid, this was back in like 1999-2004. Used to be so many cool lore stories, excerpts, artwork and other stuff. Often wondered if the old ones have PDF copies somewhere online. Still got the old school Rogue Trader too from the early days of 'space elves' and 'squats' lol.
An many pc´s that will start to burn down just starting this game. Performance wise im not so sure if this will work out on an avarage pc 3060 ti pc spec for example.
I've seen the Warhammer 40k cinematics. I've seen Astartes. But boy am I impressed by how godly the Spacemarines look in this game. I am so overwhelmed and I can fully understand why the guardsmen bow down in presence of his angels in all their grace. The Emperor protects!

@@troub1337 that's a Dreadnought, more specifically that is a Redempter Dreadnought. Also, Space Marines don't pilot Titans. The only legion to have piloted Titans were some Imperial Fists and not War Hounds or World Eaters.

It’s so refreshing to see a developer actually make a full fleshed out game, with campaign, co-op, and multiplayer. This is a game I will definitely pay full price for, halo and cod need to take notes.
I’m betting on it being very good, which I have not done since I preordered No man’s sky back in 2016. I pre ordered the $100 version, physical copy. I want to play this game, and it will be worth every penny to me. I loved WWZ, and I love 40k. So glad I got to see it released.

I love the walking and running animation so much! You can really feel the weight of the armor with every step and the semi-robotic animation as he staggers a bit due to the heavy armor is so cool! Love this game
That's removing the joy out of life. ALL pessimism isn't realism; allow yourself to be excited for something, even if it ends terribly lol. As long as you don't know the outcome for sure, what's the harm?
The first 40k thing I came into contact with was the MTG Tyranid deck. And now I can finally destroy them in a game. I didn't play Space Marine 1 because the price for it on Steam was kinda ridiculous. 😅
Can’t wait. I have a deeply irrational hatred of Tyranids wver since my friend used to routinely beat my Ultras on the table. Can’t wait to get a bit of revenge (at least in my own mind; still can’t beat my friend’s Hive Fleet Echidna)!

As development progresses, subtle changes can be seen in the gameplay (sometimes not so subtle), especially in the graphics. Not that this is a bad thing, if they want the game to reach as many audiences as possible.
So I have not at all played Warhammer 40k nor dove into the story of the genre at all, but this game looks awesome. For someone like me thats never experienced Warhammer 40k would it be wise to get this game or should I wait to understand whats going on in the story and gameplay prior?
@@DanteVerde-pt9zc and depending on how well this does (we pray to the emperor it gets enough on release attention) DLC is completely possible! Nids also have such a vast variety of units that we should so a super broad range of enemy types to fight throughout the campaign :D
I'd say the thousand sons will be a unique treat given that we never fought them in a third/first person shooter. Usually, it's the word bearers or world eaters.
As a Seal Team 6 Vet, I have to disagree with this gameplay. Tyrannids shouldn't be waiting to experience their turn in getting a taste of Titus' blade.
Looks very cool, BUT im absolutely no fan of these "stutters" after each melee attack, it just looks weird and interrupts the battle flow. These should only take place for executions imo.

Leviathan was TERRIBLE. You want a good tyranid story that actually feels like 40K, try The Devastation of Baal. The Uriel Ventris Chronicles might be a better starting point though.

Lord of the Night is a really good story with a very different and somewhat unique vibe. But it's tougher to find because it's old and out of print.
From 8 - 10 min there is only background sound, thats also delayed (* more often actually) ... no fighting-feedback at all, strange for a presentation, but action looks fun.
I may be wrong, but the game can not be 100 years after the first one. Captain Titus in the first game had 2 service studs on his forehead, and now he has 4 which means that it should be 200 years after the first game because every stud means 100 years of service. Other than that, I am super excited about this game.

I love cooperative pve games without monster hunter there hadnt been much to play in that genre until this year, now we're gettin' spoiled. just hope this game isn't saturated with microtransactions

Gears and this are kinda hard for me to understand why wearing bulletproof armor with mostly no helmet on. It's a perfect headshot from enemy perspective.
Besides the plot armor that a ultramarine without a helmet has, no idea. Luckily we will get a option to put a helmet on, or off as we please in the campaign.
@@lordnazar6382 it would be more fun to give more option to on and off the underwear part of the armor too, leaving the ultramatine with an exposed pants while all the other parts of armor still intact haha.
If you have your helmet off chances are you are an officer of some kind and more than likely have an invulnerable shield. Base marines do not have that. In lore those shields take a punishing amount of fire before disengaging so they are relying on it in place of the helmet. Also SM basically have heavy duty bullet proofing so anything other than a bolter or higher is not going to kill them helmet or not. Against bolters the helmet is a coin flip if it saves you.
To all those comparing this to gears you're wrong. If anything gears was inspired by WH40K. Stop this heresy at once!
Lorewise, yes, but the *gameplay* looks like a clunkier Gears. Which is a shame, Astartes are much faster than this in the lore.

Look forward to the game, loved the first one, if they ever do another game I hope we can move on from Smurfs chapter aka ultra marines. There are so many more interesting marine chapters out there.

Gears and this are kinda hard for me to understand why wearing bulletproof armor with mostly no helmet on. It's a perfect headshot from enemy perspective.

Besides the plot armor that a ultramarine without a helmet has, no idea. Luckily we will get a option to put a helmet on, or off as we please in the campaign.
@@lordnazar6382 it would be more fun to give more option to on and off the underwear part of the armor too, leaving the ultramatine with an exposed pants while all the other parts of armor still intact haha.
If you have your helmet off chances are you are an officer of some kind and more than likely have an invulnerable shield. Base marines do not have that. In lore those shields take a punishing amount of fire before disengaging so they are relying on it in place of the helmet.
Also SM basically have heavy duty bullet proofing so anything other than a bolter or higher is not going to kill them helmet or not. Against bolters the helmet is a coin flip if it saves you.
