    Watching you two love Deep Purple makes me feel 15 years old again! They’re the best and were the only band using a Hammond B3 organ on the radio at the time.

    Ian Pace on drums is the driving force on a lot of DP songs in my opinion, one of my many favorites from DP

      While Jon was always great and Blackmore made a huge jump in ability between Deep Purple and In Rock, I think Ian Paice just kept on growing. Some of his fills on the albums Burn and Stormbringer are just beyond what he's playing in the Mk2 period. Love it.

    Thing about a Deep Purple song is that every time you listen to it you are listening to a different parts or a different instruments. Each player is a lead.

    Blackmore gets the credit (and deservedly so) but the real stunner in this song is Paice's drumming. He's incredible.

    I was twelve or thirteen and my brother's best friend brought this album over to our house and played it for use. This song, the first song on the album, came on and that's when I discovered that I liked hard rock.

    Listen to ''Burn'' again and follow Ian Paice on the drums and see how ferocious his delivery is.
    DP were never known usually for their long intros.....9 out of ten times they lit the fuse and let the track explode....I recommend ''Bloodsucker'' and ''No One Came'' pure dynamite.

    🌐It's a very EMOTIONAL song. It's natural to associate speed with brashness and possibly a lack of feeling, but that's not the case with Burn.💙

    Saw Purple on the Burn tour. David Coverdale and Glen Hughes brought something new Purple. Coverdale still does this with Whitesnake it's that good. You should listen to Mistreated from the same album. A real bluesy rocker.

    y'all really should check out Black Country Communion doing this song live. in that band are Glenn Hughes, who's on bass and backing vocals on this track with Deep Purple, Joe Bonamassa...one of the best guitarists walking the planet today...and Jason Bonham, son of the late John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. trust me, it's well worth your watching.

    Hey guys , Now that you’ve seen Burn it’s the perfect time to check out “She Said Burn”. You’ll learn about an audio wizard that is an internet freak show and as entertaining as anything I’ve seen or heard. “She Said Burn” is not a cover but something entirely different. Bill McClintok must engage in some alien black magic because he pulls it off time after time , also suggest “Marley Idol”.

    Would love to see some Whitesnake if you never heard them...same vocalist. Their heavier tracks like Bad Boys, Still of the Night, Judgement Day, Sands of Time...David Coverdale is one of the two vocalists on Burn.

    You have done some Led Zep & Deep Purple. Now you have to add some Black Sabbath to the rotation to experience the full force of the unholy trinity of British classic rock. May I suggest anything from their first 6 albums

    I would love to see your veins got drained listening Death Alley Driver by Rainbow.
    Mr. Blackmore's and Mr. Rosenthal's solos on guitar and keyboards respectively are mind-blowing.
    However, I have to admit that after this
    there are no many things left to impress
    someone.

    "You Keep On Moving" has a rather quiet intro but it doesn't take long for the song to burst out 😉 Same line-up except for Ritchie Blackmore who was replaced by the late great Tommy Bolin. A must listen

    I love this song! It was a real showcase for Richie Blackmore and Jon Lord, but those drums - they're crazy! The only thing I don't like is the "ha ha ha ha" on the live version. If only Glen Hughes sang it live like this studio version.

    Dudes, try "Speed King" or "Flight of the Rat" off Deep Purple In Rock, or "Gypsy's Kiss" off the Perfect Strangers album....others of note: "No, No, No" (Fireball), "Strange Kind of Woman" (Live:Made in Japan) "Pictures of Home" (Machine Head) Not the most popular cuts, but...WHEW!     I think you guys might be ready to make the leap, and dive into AC/DC. Start with the Bon Scott era - Let There Be Rock, It's a Long Way to the Top, For Those About to Rock, Girls Got Rhythm, A Touch too Much, on through with Brian Johnson - Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, Back in Black, all the way to their newest album which just came out in November. A more than 40 year journey into down and dirty rock.

    You should do (Ritchie Blackmore's) Rainbow, maybe Kill the King and Gates of Babylon, then you should listen to Stargazer and A Light in the Black back-to-back. Stargazer and A Light in the Black are the same story, both 8 minutes, maybe if you're willing to risk it, combine them into one video or make two videos you release back-to-back.
