Toro still number #1 in the Turf business we have been running Toro since day 1 of business in 1985 on our Commercial Maintenance , our Sports Fields Contracts and multiple Golf Courses Contracts. Thanks for the great video Stan 👍👍
I have a 50" Toro My Ride zero turn that handles everything I throw at it. The only beef I have with it is the mounts for the anti-scalp casters. I've had to reinforce two of the three.
Im skeptical about the eco mode, since air cooled engines can’t always cool themselves effectively when run at half throttle. You’ll find a lot of homeowners and other Uninformed users tend to run the machines at half throttle, and the engines wear prematurely from overheating. It’s also my understanding, it can damage the Hydraulic pumps as well, Something to do with the change in pressure. I always run at or close to full throttle. It would be cooler to see them offer this with a liquid cool engine
Cheers Stan, looks a great mower. You should do more mower reviews like back in the day. Not seen a Wright or Hustler mower from you in a long time. Be good to see your thoughts on the Toro 60v power flex stuff also, some of it looks good but the likes of Makita and Milwaukee are way more ahead in development and performance.
Now I can see why they bought ventrac, previous toro mowers wouldn't have touched that grass. That performs like a tough cut with sidewinder tyres and easily accessible belts. We use seated toro mowers in golf a d they are powered by motors. We have a very old kubota that will cut anything up very steep slopes which is belt driven ,must be over 30 years old now
I run toro mowers I have tow of them one is the mustang z54 and the other is the mustang z42 I believe but 14,000$ is exactly why I will never own one of these machines as much as I would absolutely love to have one and need one as I just started my own mowing business up here in great state of Maine 2 years ago but I have done so maybe lawns and then have the person now pay me and this keeps happening with so many people not paying me once I done the mowing job I may never be able to afford one
Toro is starting to disappoint me Stanley they can’t supply parts we’ve needed and they still use the pandemic to blame also the updated tensioners on the multi force is worse then the original ones !
For 14k.. I could buy another house. Lol.. we just got the 36" walk behind Toro with the little dolly that drags behind it.. for $900. Anyone spending more than a grand on a mower is getting hosed
@@RebuildableRyan I just bought an SLT1500 for $200.. in great shape, but with no deck. The guy used it only to drag a sprayer.. I mean, it looks new.. It was garage kept and never mowed with (at least for several years). All it needed was a solenoid.. I got a practically new condition used deck for $100 from a mower salvage. So just like that, I spent 300 and have a $4k garden tractor. I would personally never buy mowers new. The secondary market is flooded with quality stuff for dirt cheap... Like I said, we just bought a $5.5k commercial Toro walk behind for $900.. with the Kawasaki engine.. It's still in fantastic shape, and I already put new wheels on the sulky.. It starts right up and mows like a champ. Engine still looks practically new.. has all the shinny stickers and looks well maintained. Why would I buy this for 5 grand? That's my point. I'm mechanic minded and can work on my own stuff-- so I don't mind taking the gamble on stuff like this, because I don't need the security of a "warranty" like most people. But with good finds like this-- I don't even need to work on them. Grease everything, new oil: and it's off to the races

Well that’s true but they are definitely not the best at lawn care
