Everything that come out from macedonian hearts, it is and always will be so prefund and deeply painful. I am so glad Rade did this movie, all kudos to Milco Mancevski and his idea and writing...It did so much for Rade's carrier, he went on and did the best "bad guy" performances in all his movies. This movie is still up to now in 21 century a very painful theme and very emotional interpretation of the life in the Balkans. "Before the rain" - should have won Oscar at that time! Best movie that has came out from balkan region. Oscar 🤟
Upravo sam pogledala film... Pozdrav i Zgb-a ...Rade Blagoslov.💌💜
But he says, in one point of the interview 'In Croation language'.. He probably identifies himself and feels as Croat. Nothing bad about it. I am half Mavedonian half Serb... What is wrong with us? All Scandinavians stand for each other. Yeah, they didnt have Kraina, and Croats should appologize and be ashamed about it, as Nazi Germans are apologetic for their past
@@danielabogdanovska4612 its not croatian its dialeckt he speaks in mixed way of Serbian and some Jekavica dialekt but its the same lingvistic langauge group
@@donbrasco676 yes, but he says in one point in the 'interview': 'Croation language'. I assume he feels that way... Which I guess is fine. Everybody has to make living, am I right? My point is not the language, but how 'irrational' ' we, humans, become, for 'whatever' reasons and when it suits us. Which is sad...
Since he hates the intense nationalisms that helped fuel the wars, of course such a peacenik is going to catch shit for hating the war and what brought it on,that appears to obviously tear this poor man Rade apart.
It is easy for ''intellectual elite'' to stay ''above'', we the common folk must swim through shit. I can never look at it all from ''above'', I was in Krajina. I am a Serb and I speak Serbo-Croat.
Rade was his and will be one of the legends of "former Yugoslavia"as an actor and man... Before the Rain has shown that Balkans is a tinder box of dynamite and it does not take long to ignite the share hatred the Slavs have against Albanians that under the Ottoman Empire turning from they Christian religion to Islam become the rules of christian Slavs and that was the turning point in Balkan history to beat this drum of hatred for so long...even today anomisity between this to nations is so obvious that is sad🇦🇱
you are completely wrong ! and who are those Slavs???? Slavs isn't ethnicity .... it is like same as you would call Austrians or Dutch people Germanen !!!
Most of the time it's obvious he doesn't even know what is he really saying but maybe it's not his fault, he might be under pressure from certain people. One example, he is a Serb yet he says his native language is croatian and he said that with a strange tone to it, like he doesn't mean it. So far in life he always was two-faced but like I said maybe it's not completely his fault. He is brave in movies but obviously in real life he is just a coward a real man would chose the real side and not be tossed around like a rag.
Yes, he was born in Croatia, so therefore one could say that Croatian is his native language. Though, in essence, theres no major differences between the two languages, so you can say that Serbian is his native language as well, since they're the same language😊
Fantastic actor always mesmerizing in every movie he is in.

Top movie. Still remember the first time I saw it in 1994
I'm not serbian, I'm not Croat or from Macedonia. I think there're many ways to fight the stupidity of the war. And this is one of it.

Da točno je . Ovaj film je savršenstvo. Samo ljudi posebnih emocija mogu napraviti ovakvo nešto.

Quite enjoyable and helped educate me.
My boyfriend looks so similar to him! I can´t believe it. And he´s from Makedonia also! hahahahaha
a good one, r.s., aleksandar kirkov, a role made for him:::
Најдобриот македонски филм и вонвременски саундтрак.
Fala Rade što si Srbin, a govoriš hrvatski. I naš si, i njihov, i svoji si :D
he is a Serb from region betwen croatia and bosnia called krajina

Hello from anamerican fan
I understand the story but it was very hard.
How do you pronounce this guys name? I allways pronounced it like it is spelld. Serbetsia. With emphasis at the second syllable.
Sherbegia
So why didn’t you CHOPITOV?
He has an amazing voice. Could be like Morgan Freeman and narrate documentaries, if he could tone down the accent a bit
Why should he, how about Morgan tones down his accent? Idiot
I like his accent. Its a bit sharming.
His voice makes you calm for some reason.
I've just finished watching the movie 'Quicksand'.. Rade is a brilliant actor.
A Believable actor.
Was not Rade a good looking guy back then? Im not gay but I think that he got a lot of charisma.
grimlund He was extremely handsome back then for sure ! 💖💖💖
I wonder if he finally cracked the cold fusion mystery
Since he hates the intense nationalisms that helped fuel the wars, of course such a peacenik is going to catch shit for hating the war and what brought it on,that appears to obviously tear this poor man Rade apart.
This guy should be vesemir

A Serb can learn Macedonian in two months no problem. Language is similar.
Macedonians don't need to learn Serbian. They already know it.

Marten Dekker Then think again.
***** That's your problem then. I understand what that man said and he is right, he doesn't even need to say more.
