I just noticed something & thought it was relevant. That’s kind of why Paarthurnax, the Greybeards, and the Dov themselves look at Dragonrend with terrified, hateful awe. It’s widely considered a perversion of the thu’um since it was created by mortals out of pure hate for use against immortals.

As Akatosh suffered Dragon breaks the pieces that broke off like Glass were the Dragons. Alduin being the biggest shard. I've unironically integrated the term 'zero-sum' into my normal vocabulary for just creating a black hole by gaining knowledge (like today I joked that if I could answer why you drive on a parkway and park on a driveway I'd either zero-sum or ascend to godhood) because it fits the term.
I wonder if Alduin is even capable of returning as he was initially meant to. His name, as you mention it in this video means a devour, destroyer, master. But the final word in this his name is not master via domination (according to Thuum.org), it means master of a specific skill. In this case, master of destruction and the devouring of the world. Considering Alduin has forsaken his position once before, claimed godhood over other dragons (something that puts him in conflict with other divine beings) and has been forced to endure the mind shattering nature of mortality through dragonrend several times. I wonder then, if his nature as it was meant to be even exists anymore.
@@At1asTheProto Akatosh was corrupted when he appeared after 200 years since he last appeared during the Oblivion Crisis so the Last Dragonborn defeated the Time God so he can fulfill his purpose as to destroy and recreate the world.

And the Leaper Demon King saw a possible way out of this mess for himself but he nodded too eagerly, saying "Yes, yes, yes!
