The sload have a prominent role in ESO's Summerset expansion. I would like to see them in ES6 as well, especially in the likely scenario that ES6 takes place in Hammerfell.
One of the best Sload videos on UA-cam. This video has made them my favorite race. Every crime they are accused of as alien has been done my the races of Tamriel too. They are more similar to the successful Aylied. And the Sload probably worship Namira, the most foul of the Daedra but also, often overlooked, as one of the oldest and most powerful, Infact being some sort of the more "Primordial" Daedra and falling deep into their camp, whereas more popular and wellknow Destructive Daedra like Mehrunes Dragon merely being a creation of the combined efforts of other Etada, pointedly AFTER the trick of Lorkhan into making the Realm Of Dawn's Beauty, Mehrunes Dragon was born AFTER that. Namira came with Sithis they say. And the Ayleid worshipped Meridia as their Chief Deity. I think the Sload are very gross but they are just another breed of the same animals as the Tamrielians. Even down to them being formed as Goo at birth, humans are also born as non sentient goo born from eggs at Birth, but we just do it inside the body not outside. But alot of animals come from eggs. Don't Platypus, a mammal, come from layed eggs too. And chickens and all birds. Reptiles but still seen as an intelligent species. The goo they secrete is gross but they need it to move around. Necromancy should be illegal but when they tried to make it illegal in Tamriel a few years before Alduin invaded Skyrim, didn't 1/3 of the Entire Mages guild break free in Rebellion.... Maybe we should look at the Sload the way the Old English Peasants looked at the Danes who came as Vikings. They were the only sample, impression, example of their race they got to see, so that's all they thought of them. The only way they got to see the Sloads was by seeing the ones who came as powerful invaders and pirates and even armies ready to come attack us. They only saw the Warriors of their species. The worst of their species. The killers and thieves and the powerful warlords and the magic and weapons they used to invade and steal. They only saw the conquerors and didn't have any way to see the entire nation of "civilians" back home in Sload territory, and Rightfully, called them all Monsters. But there's probably a huge culture behind them and we just see them from the eyes of the victim being attacked by a part of their countries army. Forget Akaviri, I want to see more of the Sloads. I'd love to see another game with Morrowiind with lots of Underwater areas but this time with lots of underwater monsters and giant slug enemies and lots of underwater fighting not just underwater exploring which Morrowind did good at. Water so dark that you need to cast the light spell to see would be awesome. With combat enemies from Subnautica or Lost Planet 2 Water Levels basically.
Masser and Secunda, two huge moons in the sky, lighting up the pitch black Sky and the vast black Ocean in every direction just just the darkest inky blue. Purple bioluminescence under the waters surface, deep down, moving Sea Monsters guarding the opal and pearl palaces, giant crab hands covered in disgusting chitin, but hidden bodies, stretching out from inside the palace gates snatching sharks and whales out of the Ocean water and pulling them behind the doors, and a few moments later chunks of bloody fish and whale meat falling out back into the sea with a Splash. This is the Watery Kingdom of the Sloads. Pearlescent and Opalescent faces of our Daedra.

The thing is that most of what we know about the Sload is essentially written about by people who hate them to begin with. I can definitely see that they would be; whilst cold, alien and generally culturally repugnamt to most of their neighbours; basically the same in mentality as most of Tamriels species. They probably just want their old colonies on the Sumerset Isles back and kinda just hate Mer and Men for denying them free reign in places they formerly could live and work.

14:40 Who is the composer(s) of this song?
cinnireseisri ah, it’s actually the song I’ve listed in the video :D it is called Cohen is lurking by Garry Schyman, from Bioshock 1. I’ve listed the link to the song on UA-cam in my description as well :D
Keep up the good work! Nice.
it so rare to listen to that lore narrated with such a sweet voice lol
Hey will you be using Beyond Skyrim screenshots when the mods come out?
GreatBurrito 52 quite likely yes! I know they are working on a Thras beyond skyrim one, I used their design of the Sload in this video, but will be very excited to see what their interpretation is of Thras and the sload as a whole!
@@ladyofscrolls4598 the Thras project is actually separate from Beyond Skyrim but they work alongside each other
@@chadhinkley7532 oh cool! I didn't know that, they're website seems to change a lot and move around, I havent kept up with it much, either way i'm excited for it!
