Nice improv. I see that you play Mike Lull's. I just priced out a Mike Lull short scale jazz bass. Configured that way I would want, it would cost me around 8 000 € with import duties to France. Now that Mike has sadly passed away, and the guitars are being built by his son, that was more than I was willing to spend. I'm just wondering if you have any insight into Lull basses that would cause me to reconsider. Thanks in advance.
I do play Mike Lull basses and have quite a few! I've gotta say that they're fantastic, and while the price tag may be a lot due to the overseas duties, the instruments are great. I've gotten two basses since Mike has passed but the quality, feel, and tone isn't compromised at all and they're still made with excellent care.
@@RyanMadoraMusic Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated. It's good to know that his son learned his craft well, and is maintaining the legacy. I enjoy your work. 😎
that was sheer torture...... cause now i want a Mike Lull P! Your playing is awesome but man, the tone is off the chain! so good!!!
Don't listen to Olinto P bass then :)
Now, that’s just showing off 🤣🙌🏽
and I JUST LOVE IT❤ Great groove and great vibe my friend 🙌🏽😎🎶
Awesome playing!!
very nice
Love the picking technique, i use it myself much to the annoyance of other bass players who tell me im not playing correctly.
smile, nod, move on with your life. as VW says; "it's just another way to hit the string."
Very nice! I just finished your book. Great read! Gave me a real appreciation of what came before in the low end..Duck Dunn is the man!
Glad you enjoyed it! And yes, Dunn is the man!
Yes, indeed!
Love the plucking style and your fretting fluidity!

@@TheMaartian 8k for an instrument is absurd. You can get elite-level customs for under 3k if you do some research.
👏👏👏👍
