    Thanks for the idea, I didn't want to buy any of those prefilled canvas bags that are expensive and thus much more costly to replace if they tear, and now I don't have to!

      Hi chris and welcome, what a great journey ahead,, and sounds like you are starting right... put some mung beans in with your rice as they contain beneficial compounds for healing and IP, traditionally. Like and sub if you like and by all means join me on patreon.com/IBMA if you want more gems like that to assist training..

    Not bad. It also seals the bag if you are using lead shot, which my Sifu says is the only thing to use. You must ensure that the lead makes no contact with the skin because of toxicity.

    I would recommend you to use textile tape as additional final layer, it has better less noisy sound and better feel.
    Otherwise thumbs up for your consideration, You have quite decent open-mindness.

    Cool thanks mate. I was stressed about price. I ordered $1/$2 canvas cotton bags, maybe I can put plastic bag inside cotton bag.
    - I would be interested if you had way to make iron body conditioning bar/sock, it looks like a sphere shaped door stopper. But no worries

    I have an iron dumbbell that I use for this. I go to the forest and use a dead tree without the bark for my forearms and shoulders. Ten months of doing this a few times a week, and my bones are thicker, denser, and I feel like I could punch through a brick house

    cameron126651, i call him Sifu because he deserves the recognition of a teacher. he is a brother to me in this. both coming from similar approaches though different paths. I hold him in the highest esteem and admire his knowledge. Started as kidding around but I f I had not had any knowledge of Iron Hand I would be honored to learn from him. he is solid and truly loves sharing ( TEACHING) his love of Tiet Sau with others..

    Thanks

      hard and fast rule i would say you are probably right.. go with your gut,,, but the original skill is hand of iron sand,, so the smaller the better..iron shavings would be best.

    Can we use sand instead of stones in making it

    • @goshen574
      @goshen574 6 років тому

      Hema Bhutoria es, in fact sand gives a more natural feel but sand is sharp and will eventually treat through. Rocks are good too, so I suggest both, but use the rocks outside because it will cause ALOT OF DUST

    Hi Iron Body I trained my hands like this for two years , in my twentys .
    I have all but lost the use of my fingers . I suffer from Raynard syndrome and arthritis . I cant go out in cold weather I might lose my fingers to frost bite . I cant do anything requiring finger dexterity ( think long and hard on that one folks ) .
    I can no longer put a key into a lock , I can not hold a teaspoon .
    Cant insert my bank card for money ever .I cant change gears in my car , but that dont matter because I cant open the car door in the first place .I cant masterbate nor scratch my arse .
    I have not picked my nose for nigh on ten years .I cant shave or shower myself .
    Dont just pass the salt , shake it for me .
    I have been attacked due to my obvious victime status .
    I can not type nor can I write a word . Some one types for me .
    I made a cheap home made bag of beans in my twentys..... only it turned out it cost me all of the above .
    Your health matters more than any other thing cherish it guys .
    Learn from an old guy .

      You're going to need some stronger evidence than anecdotal statements if you're trying to imply that this training caused your problems. It's pretty unlikely considering the amount of practitioners and plenty of anecdotal evidence in the opposite direction as well. Also I hope you mean Raynaud Syndrome, Raynard syndrome is not a real thing. Raynaud's is usually caused by other diseases, such as rheumatoid arhtiritis. You were pretty much bound to get arhtritis man.

      I dont have to prove anything Doctor shimmy ....

    • @shimmylikejimmy7023
      @shimmylikejimmy7023 7 років тому +1

      I'm just saying, there are people who have practised this art for 40 years and don't have arthritis. Anecdotal evidence is a logical fallacy for a reason. It's possible you trained improperly and I'm pretty confident Dr. Dale Dugas (a practioner of this art) would probably agree given that you only trained for 2 years yet have such extreme problems. The goal of this is not to destroy, but build very slowly and gently with proper progression and recovery. It's also possible that the training was not the cause of your problems.
      Sorry to hear about your misfortune but you shouldn't be so quick to try and discourage others from trying an art that's been practiced safely for hundreds of years based on your personal correlation.

      really? A lot of people do this and they dont report that, especially after only 2 years...I been beating the heaybag for 20 yaers with no gloves and my hands look a bit funny but they work juuuust fine....
