Eric Burdon is a treasure. So were The Animals
Eric’s voice is like liquid gold
Very very well said. I LOVE his voice.
I'm still listening 🎶 2023
Good music never gets old
Eric is handsome, I fell in love with him when I was 19 years old in the distant 87th year ✌😊🤘
Yo tengo 40 y amo a Eric ❤
Eric Burdon is one of the most under rated singer in rock history...carry on , brother....
@@kennyw218 Sorry can you explain more?
Not underrated by any of us or the other millions and millions
Not so ... Read his bio
he never was under rated.
Sir Tom Jones is awesome of course. Eric deserves the same respect.
I'm 77. N. Always loved their songs
I’m 80. Always loved the Animals! Eric just has loads of charisma, and sex appeal, not to mention a great voice!
He sings with such ease. Phenomenal talent.
#ditto
Always liked this group. It certainly was a fun time to be young. So much good music came out of nowhere.
He had the best voice of the 60s and 70s! We loved the Animals and the phenomenal Voice of Eric Burdon!
He’s amazing 😍
Yes we did and still do. Glad Eric is still alive. They said he died in 2020. It was all BS. Thank God. I just love Eric.
@@dustythe2nd188 it's all about the music that's all... That's why we dig these cats.. Dead or alive the music always lives
@@PutinsMommyNeverHuggedHim I think you got to get over it.. it's defining who you are.. 😂
@@paulgentile1024 So true!
I was 5 yrs old... and now I’m 60... he’s still awesome...
8 then and 63 now....two thumbs up!
I was 15
I was 36 at the time
Alan Price looks peed off even back then…as for Eric’s voice, pure gold…
Eric Burdon was great and if you can see him in concert, he still is. In the last 5 or 6 years my wife and I attended two of his concerts and he still has people rocking in the aisles! His voice is still unbelievable!
I'd forgotten how good they were. Eric Burdon has a fantastic voice.
Absolutely, how are you doing Ruth?
This song was perfect for Eric. NO ONE can sing it like him! An amazing singer!
I'm thinking Sam Cooke myself.
doch ich du.... schleimer
Eric Burdon is AMAZING ARTIST. I really like listening to HIS songs (Beautiful Voice) .,,,I will bring You my sweet Love home. You will be my slave and i will be Your slave 😄😄🤗) "" I wish You a lot healthy. GOD BLESS YOU ERIC 🌹🌹🌹
somehow The Animals and especially Eric with War were ahead of their time
ERIC BURDON FOREVER
what a Time..music was so great that a cat like Sammy Davis Jr who obviously had nothing to do with the British invasion or a contemporary of rock and roll cat can still be hip enough and be part of the mix.. the scene was so great
SDJ was one hip cat for sure.
Sammy was cool and here he was paid to the job
Every single version of these wonderful songs is absolutely brllliant.
Eric Burdon is phantastic.
I have seen him live long long ago in Germany. Always super and unique.
Awesome musician and yes, way underrated.
I hope Eric's music plays forever
Adore this Man
Eric Burdon is among greattest singers in Historu .
The Animals did a Hellva Version of the Sam Cooke Classic Song. Outstanding.
Eric was amazing
Magic voice. Handsome man
Love love Eric Burdon....musical super genius.....
True
I love the Animals!!! Eric Burdon is my guilty pleasure!!!!!
Somehow (I don't know how or why), Burdon often goes unmentioned when it is time to list the greatest vocalists from the Age of Rock. I used to warm up my voice and get into ''the space'' for gigs with Vol. 2 of their ''greatest hits'' (the acid era- it began with When I was Young and went into Girl named Sandoz, if memory serves). Of course, no matter how I tried I couldn't touch him when he started hollering on Inside Looking Out- one of the greatest bass lines I have ever heard. Seriously, any young folks out there who haven't heard it- check it out (and don't get distracted by the Grand Funk version!)
His voice just gives me chills when I hear it
Then there's that intense stare...
Oh yes, I know what you mean. He’s my generation. I’m old but he still gives me the chills too. LOL 😆
The best music ever heard in history
August 2022 and with 80 he still have a great voice #Respect.
Yeah, my favorite Sam Cooke song... Eric Burdon is an incredible singer with an amazing voice and he's given me so much joy through the years. God Bless you Eric and thank you.
Soundtrack of my youth 🎼🖤
Soundtrack of our youth and part of our identity. Golden years, for sure.
Sam Cooke ,,thanks
My very. 1st Album. The Animals 1965. I was 10 yrs old
My grandma got it for me for CHRISTMAS
Eric, easy looking while listening to that strong voice.
I've never heard this version. What a blusey voice Eric has. I like it.
Oh i love the Animals..all of them
Loved Eric burton. I do like the way Sam cooke sings it also which was a hit in 1964 on motown
I prefer Sam Cooke's version. He lacks the rawness of Eric' delivery, but he is infinitely more tuneful.
I love the animals but really loved to hear Sam Cooke. That man could knock your socks off with his voice and music.
Sam Cooke was not on Motown.
A lot of depth and talent in the Animals, they are so underrated.
How I love these guys and this song. I used to sing it with our high school band.
Sammy Davis jr is right..one of the greatest acts .
But they weren't on the same category as the Beatles or the Rolling Stones.
I’m only ooopoo
Alban Pfisterer I need to sonic Don mix on UA-cam what did you give meHey Siri give me a shot at Don Mex on UA-cam
@TheAnimalsVault better than Aftermath?
@@robertmasina4610 Because of bad managment!!
The bassist really made the band sound so powerful, but of course Eric's vocals too.
The Bassist is Chas Chandler, who later found & managed Jimi Hendrix, and then Slade in the 70s.
He is an Genius !!!What a Voice !!!
He was /is so cool .
Oh yeah,yeah,yeah...😎
Love 60s music and love this group of the 60s and love this song , I was like about 9 when it came out in 1965 . Im 65 now .
Never saw this clip before. I remember writing Hilton about the solo as it was one of the first guitar solos I learned from a record.
The blond woman at 2:53 at the end of the video looks astonishing like my mother did back then. She passed away in 2011 in her 80s.
Miss her very much. I was surprised when I saw the thumbnail of this video of how much she looked like her.
Their spin on this blues song is great.
Oh Eric I would love to bring my sweet lovin' home to you
Happy 81st Birthday Eric
Smiles, how are you doing Shannon?
I love him with all my heart, Sam cooke will be my first but Eric I melt with him too, as Eric said he heard the tunes coming in to the Newcastle docks, thank god he did, otherwise we wudnt have heard his amazing voice, and yes I 46 yrs old now haha but I heard him wen I was way young, would love to meet him ...think I'd faint haha ❤❤❤
🇬🇷🏴 Long live the great Eric Burdon!
They wrote and performed some of the best songs ever. Great band and singer.
Alan's still there...that Man was a great solo star in UK...
Wonderful introduction
Absolutely amazing. Great voice, great song!
It's so funny seeing the band in suits and ties. Eric tells when he was younger than this that he carved 'Long live the blues' into his arm with a razor blade, hardly suit and tie thinking! But what an amazing band; this song has been covered more than many others, but in 1967 it wheedled its way into a teenager's mind and it's still the best, all these years later.
Beautiful voice. Gives me chills.
Pure Soul
l wanna meet Eric in person, tell him how much l enjoyed the Animals and his vocals right from from the strt, before l knew anything about origins of rock and roll.
This band was beyond cool. And Erics voice, well.....no words!
I AM 74 NOW, AND I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL 5 YEARS OR SO I WAS ABLE TO SEE THIS GREAT VOICED MAN IN LAUGHLIN, NEVADA LIVE. HE WAS OUTSTANDING, AND I WON'T FORGET SEEING HIM LIVE. WAY UNDER RATED!
It's adorable,,. also the costume and tie, it makes them fantastic.💖
Saw him live in 2009, he was still amazing. The best live performance I have ever personally seen!
so glad they include the Sammy Davis part.
I loved everything the Animals did!
I was two yet I picture this being blasted on speakers in some fraternity house in 1965; have no idea why.
Erick was and still is one of the oe the best musician of all time
I have been listening to Eric's music everyday for past 2 months..I'm entranced by him 🤩
I m so lucky! Tonight Eric will be in a show in Greek tv at 10 o’clock !!
I know you're probably familiar with it by now but check him out with the band War after he left the Animals. Spill the Wine was a childhood favorite of mine and shows how eccentric, for lack of a better word , he could be.
A great version of a great song.....😍
Great song,back in 65
If I remember correctly: Eric Burdon, Alan Price (k), Hilton Valentine (g), Chas Chandler (bass) & John Steel (d). 😎
As a 1st former back in ‘65, my favourite band with the Beatles, John Mayall, Canned Heat, Janis & Jimi... and more! 🤗
I believe that by this time, Alan Price had left to go solo; he put out an album called "This Price Is Right", & was replaced by Dave Roweberry.
That's price on keyboards ,

Correct
Не знаю англи1ский - но все так классно ! Мне 60 лет- люблю только такую музыку!
"... You know I laughed, when you left but I ONLY-ONLY HURT MYSELF~" HA!
Bring it on home to me...
Met Eric in Melbourne, Australia.......quite stoned he was !!!
I listened to the Animals at around 10, I was a fan since.
My favorite song in the 60’s.
It's a good song lovely words and vocals
Same groove as Fats Domino's " Blueberry Hill. " A good group with a great vocalist!
The Animals ♥️♥️♥️♥️
absolute best live rendition ever made of this song!
totally staged...no speakers ..no cords...all fake...but well done
Amo a los Animales 🙌🙌🙌🙌🌟🌟🌟🌟🍀🍀🍀🌞🌞🌞
